Rhanloi's Romp Through the Sword Coast

• The group realizes these kobolds are tougher, and stronger, than the ones you've encountered before. Each one of them bears many scars from desperate fights and carries a shield made out of cast-off dragon scales...
• Wakka uses his mental powers to deflect some of the damage from the crossbow bolt before continuing his attack on the green kobold. (DC14 Str: 11) His bonus attack just misses, glancing off the unique shield.
• The kobolds all attack!!
  • Pink throws its spear at Genren: Attack: 22 Damage: 7
  • Turquoise steps up and stabs at Manfred: Attack: 22 Damage: 6
  • Red also steps up and stabs at Tallow: Attack: 20 Damage: 3
  • Yellow stabs at Wakka: Attack: 18 Damage: 7
  • Green stabs at Wakka: Attack: 7 Damage: 7
  • Blue stabs at Tallow: Attack: 22 Damage: 3

"Look at these pretty maids all in a row" Tallow points his spoon at the line of kobolds beginning with the red one and casts Tasha's Caustic Brew at 3rd level. "Eat up, Batches!"

Dex save 15 or take 15 damage and 2d4 at the start of each turn.

Following on from Tallow Manfred gives a discordant ‘twang’ on his lute, causing a a circular Wall of Thorns to spring into existence on top of the nearest kobolds… (DC15 DEX ST for half of 33 piercing damage for initial impact, extra damage as they move through it / stay in the wall)

‘You’ve got them sorted, Wakka!’ he shouts (1d8 bardic inspiration for Wakka)

• Tallow points his spoon at the line of kobolds and casts Tasha's Caustic Brew. (DC15 Dex: Red-9 Turquoise-16 Pink-20)
• Manfred calls forth a circular Wall of Thorns on top of the same group of kobolds! (DC15 Dex: Red-7 Turquoise-7 Pink-8)
• Female master rogue fires off a crossbow bolt at Genren, letting her kobolds take care of the party members on the ground. (Attack: 14 Damage: 12) She then hides from view (Stealth: 24)

With Manfred's encouragement, Wakka continued his assault on the two kobolds adjacent to him, hoping the others had the rest handled for the time being.

• Attack: Hit 17/ Damage 10 + 5 Slashing & Cold Damage (Using (1) Charge of Bite of Winter if it hits)
• Extra Attack: Hit 13 + 5 (Using Bardic Inspiration) / Damage 10 Slashing

Seeing that the Rogue hide once again, Genren will shoot an arrow at one of the remaining Kobolds:

Attack: 20 Damage: 12

After shooting his bow, he will use his bonus action (cunning action) to dash towards the direction the Rogue went/was as best he could tell. "Can't lose this one! She might have some details that we can use" he blurts out as he leaps off of  the side of the building, and sprints around the thorns.

(Sorry...somehow missed y'all's posts!)

• Genren shoots the blue kobold since he can't see the ones caught in the wall of thorns. He spots the master thief as she moves to another hiding spot and calls out her location to the rest of the group, running towards her as he goes.
• (Round 3) Wakka continues his attack on the green creature, cutting it down.
• Kobolds:
  • The pink one slowly picks its way out of the thorns (only going 5 ft) then readies its other spear. 
  • Turquoise also works its way through the thorn wall, ending up next to Manfred. It takes a couple of stabs at the halfling with its spear. (Attack 1: 5 Damage: 3 :: Attack 2: 9 Damage: 6)
  • Yellow keeps attacking Wakka. (Attack 1: 17 Damage: 5 :: Attack 2: 4 Damage: 3)
  • Blue is locked in battle with Tallow. (Attack 1: 4 Damage: 7 :: Attack 2: 22 Damage: 4)

Tallow manages to dodge the assault from the blue Kobold.  "I'm too shifty for you but you're about to get roasted!" He twirls his spoon over his head and points it at the Blue Kobold.  "Crème Brule!"  Fire Bolt Attack: 9 Damage: 8

• Tallow punishes the blue kobold for attacking him, hitting the monster in the head with a small sphere of fire and killing it!

Manfred stares at the Kobold in front of him and starts whispering……. (Dissonant Whispers DC15 WIS ST for half of 18 psychic damage)

• Manfred tries to get into the turquoise kobold's head with his disturbing whispers... (DC15 Wis: 18) ...and it literally explodes!
• The female rogue see Genren coming for her and seems mad that he's spotted her twice in a row, so she fires her crossbow at him before attempting to find a new hiding spot! (Attack: 27 Damage: 15 -- Stealth: 26)

Wanting to make sure the leader did not get away, Wakka released a barrage of psychically enhanced strikes in an attempt to quickly defeat the kobold in front of him.  If he defeated his opponent, he would then charge her last known direction (somewhere to the NW presumably)

Genren will continue his pursuit of the the rogue taking a shot of his own with his bow before sending his dancing weapon towards her (if it's still within range)

Dancing sword: Attack: 23 Damage: 8

After shooting his bow he'll get right up into melee combat with her. "No more playing hide and seek for you! My allies will soon kill the last your minions and they'll be joining us shortly" He smiles glancing at her.

Perception: 25 (passive is 19)

• Although Genren misses his attacks, he manages to get close enough to the thief to see it is the red-headed elf, Veleen!

• Round 4: Wakka makes a flurry of attacks against the yellow kobold. The first couple miss, but his surge attacks both score hits!
• The pink kobold disengages and runs around the corner of the building, hoping to save its life.
• The yellow kobold still has some fight left in it, and he attacks Wakka two more times. (Attack 1: 11 Damage: 5 -- Attack 2: 9 Damage: 6)

Round 4: Wakka(-30) -- Kobolds (pink(-41) / yellow(-36)) -- Tallow(-20) -- Manfred(-9) -- Female baddie(-0) -- Genren(-8)

Manfred ends the Wall of Thorns, moving quickly over to help Wakka. He screeches to a halt next to the Kobold battling his friend and plunges his rapier deep into their back, whipping his blade back out with a flourish that only widens the wound... (Nat 20 to hit!, 10 piercing damage)

'Go deal with the hidden attacker, Wakka. I'll keep this guy busy...' he says quickly, lining up another blow...

• Manfred stabs the last kobold in the back, dropping it to the ground!
• Tallow ??

Round 4: Wakka(-30) -- Kobolds (pink(-41) / yellow(-46)) -- Tallow(-20) -- Manfred(-9) -- Female baddie(-0) -- Genren(-8)

Tallow will look at the red headed elf and releases Ray of Sickness at 4th level.  "You're about to feel really bad!"  Attack: 10 Damage: 11  He will use a sorcery point to make the spell careful if needed to avoid hitting an ally.

• DC15 Con Save: 20 - Veleen fires her crossbow at Genren (Attack: 12 Damage: 10) then yells out, "You haven't heard the last of us! Talos will sweep you all away in the coming storm!!" She then dashes away around the buildings. (Move + Bonus action to dash)

You can be out of combat, unless you wish to pursue her!

(Disadvantage on that attack! Also how far was I when she ran away) Genren whistles sharply as he recalls his sword back into its holster, slinging his bow over his shoulder he will use all of his movement then bonus action dash (105ft total) holding his action to grapple her down if possible. "Idiot, do you really think I'd let you run off like that."  He exclaims in elvish as he pursues her running swiftly on the ground and off of walls to cut any obstacles out of the equation.

(I think Genren might only be to move 70ft or 140ft if he dashes?)

"I think you got him Manny," Wakka commented as he watched the Kobold adjacent to them fall to the ground.  Seeing Genren run off, he turned to Manny and said, "I'll try and help him out," before leaping into the air towards the woman 

• Action: Dash (60ft)
• Bonus Action: Psi-Powered Leap (120ft Fly) 

  • As a bonus action, you can propel your body with your mind. You gain a flying speed equal to twice your walking speed until the end of the current turn. Once you take this bonus action, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest, unless you expend a Psionic Energy die to take it again.
