Con save before resting? : 18

Kai keeps watch on the redbrand with Zurzg while the others gather the equiptment.

If they rest, Kai helps put the redbrand in the cells quietly before retiring to bed. 

CON: 18

Margret, in each coffin, you find a single gemstone, 2 rubies and 2 saphire.

You barricade yourself in the prisson and rest for the night. Your rest passes without anything happening.

Margret simply puts the gems in her pouch

"Kai remind me to give the profits from these gems after I sell them. I'll divide it equally"

She gives a hard stare at whom she thinks are not forth coming 

"Maybe.."

After their rest she gets packed up (Checks to see if they are still bound) unlocks the cell and drapes the extra suite of armor (Studded Leather) over the strongest RB and says to them

"What I said still stands"

Nobody just quirks a brow in confusion, then shares a look with Zurzg. Because last he remembered, he'd already spoke of the hidden bottom items to her, and the brief spat about the table coin had been settled... more or less. Ultimately shrugging off the hard stare if leveled in his direction, he follows along with crossbow in hand, irritatingly useless though it has been so far.

"Let's double time it back to. Things been quiet, b-but the others might be worried at this point about our not returning." He comments on.

The goblin barely hears Margret, lost in thought for a second.  He then pipes up suddenly.  "Zurzg meet talking spider last night, make shapes on wall.  Spider tell Zurzg that 'safe hideout clear let rest moss', but Zurzg not sure what to think.  Maybe spider need practice talking good like Zurzg."

"The future may prove me wrong Nobody, but I don't think anyone is worried about us, or cares that we exist. Other than our enemies, and maybe our perspective gods"

she feints a kick at one of the RB as they are being herded 

She sighs

"When I asked you about coins How much did you find?"

"All the more reason why I did NOT want to stay here." Nobody grouses after Zurzg's admission. "But what's done is done, I suppose. No offense, Zurzg, but it's good you didn't know too much to warrant more of its attention." He adds along with a tentative grin.

Nobody gives Magret an incredulous look. "What? I mean, yes, I suppose. Still was a bit frustrated then... But in fairness, that was you asking me a second time! I had already told you before we left about the findings. At least a rough gist of it, anyhow. Part of the reason I didn't exactly expect to find much more." He squints at her next. "Did... did you have concussion this whole time?!" He exclaims, and start looking and gesturing between Kai and Magret for the latter to perform some kind test.

He shakes his head dismissively, and at least starts putting the pouch away in his backpack on the way out. "I'll just hold on to it until we get back. Lead the way? I'm--" He glances back around the room one last time, before turning back with a quiet sigh. "I'm all set for now." Nobody follows after Margret on that note.  

(To which, you never responded. Nor did you in the previous post before then suggested you leaving the room. There was mention of an attempt to 'usher' him along, but it was vague on how as well. I presumed at the time it was more a gesturing vs manhandling... and had it been, it would've led to a far different outcome.)

"Hmmfh,  maybe" She replies to the Tiethling s statement '

"That Bugbear did hit me kinda hard I'm happy for Kai's healing and I'm glad all the bugbears are dead"

unlike the absent minded magic user Margret dosnt discount Zurzg's statement

She's suddenly worried about the Firbolg 

"Safe hideout clear let rest moss? Um are you talking about a dream Zurzg?"

Kai observes everyone quietly before looking at Zurzg with some concern. "Did you see anything else other than the spider?" 

The goblin looks up at everyone, glad to be centre of attention again. “Zurzg only see spider, making letter-shapes on wall. Then spider left Zurzg alone. Zurzg on watch, so Zurzg not sleeping, unless Zurzg fell asleep...” He ponders this thought for a second, before shrugging.

OOC: so did we see writing on the wall by spider web?

Margret perks up

"Maybe it was a message from Moss? I thought she went to town with the woman and kids."

She then thinks and says with a half giggle half groan

"Ah crap! That poor giant I bet she's been out there all night!"

"T'is why I--" He lightly huffs. "Nevermind. Let's be off!" Nobody exclaims, eager to be out of the brand hideout. As such, short of being pulled back, he takes point on leading the proverbial charge up and out the same exit the group used to get inside. With every step made, the tension slowly but surely leaves his face and posture.

She sighs

"I wish we could explore this place further, I guess we can do it later! Lets go."

she starts herding the Redbrands to town from behind. bow notched looking for Moss when they get outside as well as any danger

You gather your loot and release the two redbrands from the cells. The two bandits shiver as you lead them past the coffins in the crypt. The basement is silent and all the doors are like you left them. Margret and Kai light up the way, where the burned out lanterns don't work anymore. As you walk up the stairs and exit the into morning light, you see a tall firborg next to the wooden structure in the ruins of the manor. She turns around and you recognise Moss. She smiles at you and comes closer.

"Ah, you finaly woke up. I didn't want to interrupt your rest when my litle spies found you. Did you get my message? The carpenters wive and the kids are safe. Did yoy know, that they have a litter with 4 small wolfhound pubs over there?" 

Kai pauses quietly before a look of realization passes over her. "Ah. The spiders. I'm assuming you sent thise then? Regardless, that's very helpful Moss. And wolfhound are always so cute." 

"Oh? That was -- But I thought... huh.... I feel rather foolish now." Nobody rubs his chin,and looks askance, realizing he would need to rethink a few things going forward from now on. "In any case, it is good to see you again, Moss. While it would be nice to dive right on into what happened, suffice to say, there's a great deal we need to discuss about what we found. Which unfortunately, did not include the ring leader." He bows his head  and frowns, then looks over to the redbrand.

"There is hope these two might be able to help with that, as I doubt after having so many men lost has exactly endeared their leader to staying here.. Shall we head to town hall?"

"Um, I am so sorry Moss Zurzg got your message but only thought to tell us this morning. I thought you went back with them and stayed in town. We didn't know you came back, We would of got you to stay with us inside."

At the mention of puppies, she starts towards the pen then stops, remembering the RBs she turns her bow towards them

"Is it safe to approach them? Can we take the puppies?" 

The goblin looks up at Margret expectantly.  "Zurzg is hungry after killing lots of red-cloaks, but Zurzg only got room for one wolf-cub..."
