Mal helps to bring as much of the stolen supplies to cart.
He tries to keep their new Goblin friend within his sight. He is unsure on the soundness of the decision to keep Zurzg with them. He is eager to get to the safety of Phandalin and out of the wilderness.
I can take first watch while the others rest. Though I would suggest those taking watch should be paired with someone who can see in the dark.
You manage to bring 10 crates from the hideout, but with Hazel and Sildar riding on the wagon, you only dare to load 5 of the boxes on it. Ostran, Leona and Zurzg are pulling the sled while Moss and Kai keeping a watch. After 2 hours you have to stop, because Leona is to exausted. Maltake takes over for her and she switches with Hazel. After that, the whole group moves a bit slower and takes short rests every hour.

(To All: I don't know about the rest of you, but that part about chain Zurzg to the sled had me rolling. XD Thank you DM, I needed that this morning)
Despite his size, Nobody knew better than to volunteer for pulling anything. But would step in if absolutely needed. He keeps to being ready help however he can as the group progresses, siding with Sildar and Mal still when it came to pushing on to town.
Noting a few peoples exhaustion, Kai will look to everyone. "Maybe now that we have put some distance between us and the goblin cave, we can make camp and rest for the rest of the night? I do not think a few of us can go on much longer. We all need some rest. We can have shifts keeping watch until morning? I could take a watch but I do not have Nightvision either." She looks to the horizon to judge roughly what time it is and how far they are from Phandalin.
Sildar notices Kais worried glances to Leona and towards East, towards Phandalin: "If we can keep up our pace, we should arrive in an hour. Although I don't know the Village, I have a way to get us somewhere warm to sleep and a bite to eat once we find an Inn."
(ooc will be home in an hour to post more. You will arrive in Phandalin at 2 or 3 after midnight.)
Kai nods but still keeps an eye on the exhausted members. "We should push forward then? The sooner we reach Phandalin, the better. We could all use a good rest, meal, and time to discuss our next move. Hopefully finding an inn shouldn't take long." She continues to keep watch around them, offering to help with pulling the sled if needed despite her less strong physique. She occasionally studies all of the other members in thought, taking account of what they've done so far for the group and their personalities. So far they're at least all better than the leaders of her church.

"Forward. Ever forward. We can make it." Nobody says, forcing some confidence in tone. "Better to keep going and be a little exhausted, then be out and about. Goblins are not the only things that lurk in the dark. And as we are now, and cautious though we may be, we'll do ourselves little favor hesitating at the finish line. Hazel. You were pretty roughed up as well, right? Let me know, and I will step in." He said, grinning weakly yet cheerily.
Then he happens to glance over at Moss and Zuzg, and grimaces a little before looking forward. 'Though not sure how much help any of us will be between Powerful Build there and Little Strong' He jest in thought.
Zurzg grumbles and hisses as the chain digs into his neck, but he does his best to keep the sled moving. While his captors look weary, some injured, the goblin silently weighs up his options and decides against trying to fight his way to freedom. The Horned One had the right of it; there were other things out there that goblins would not want to face alone.
At first it is hard to see in the darkness, but just after the rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, you can catch your first glimpse of Phandalin. The outer parts of the town are mostly old ruins , covered in ivy and briars, that surround the newer houses and shops. The town consists of several log buildings, some build on the old fieldstone foundations. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track you follow, wich widens into a dusty main square. It is late in the night and no light is visible with the exeaption of three flames on three large buildings surrounding what seams to be the central square of the town. The square is surrounded by several large buildings and on three of them magical fire is burning above the doors. The one building to your right looks like some kind of temple and Sildar points to the building to your left.
He stops Betsy in front of it and carefully climbs down to approach the door. After unsuccessfully trying to open it, he knocks on it with his crook and after several attempts an angry looking young human man opens the door. Sildar exchanges a few words, shows him something and you see a few coins passing hands. This doesn’t put a smile on the mans face but he visibly calms down.He steps out of the house, closes the door and starts to talk, while he lead Betsy around the building to a big stable: Ok lads, it is late and everyone is already sleeping. Your friend convinced me that you can stay in my stables for the night and we can sort out rooms in the morning after breakfast if you wish to do so.The stable is empty at the moment. On the left are 5 boxes for the horses, they have all fresh hey, and you can sleep in the them for now. There is enough space on the right side to park your cart. I am Toblen Stonehill and this is my inn. We will talk in the morning after we all rested. Good night and welcome to Phandalin.
With this he leaves the stables and returns inside the inn.
Kai eyes the stables in thought. "Five stables, nine of us. Who's sharing with who? It would be two to a stable other than one, which maybe Moss should have since she is the largest of all of us. No offense." Kai will move to claim the stable closest to any water trough and move to adjust the hay into a godlike formation. As she does, she will mumble almost shyly. "I have no preference on who I share with as long as you dont mind the water. And someone will have to watch our new friend here as well in their stable. I could take that task if that is prefered." She'll look to Zurzg with a slightly tired but reassuring smile.
Kai nods in understanding. "Perhaps we pair the larger sized people with the smaller ones and go from there? So Hazel could pair with Moss or Leona, I'll pair with Zurzg, Sildar can pair with Ostran, Nobody with Mal, and whoever is left without a partner, Moss or Leona, can have their own stall? Unless Sildar would like his own stall?" Kai begins to situate her stall, making room for Zurzg.

Mal picks an empty stall and moves the hay around to make it as comfortable as he can. He takes his alcohol filled flask out and takes a swig.
Well, at least this is better than the outside, I guess. I'm going to bed unless we're setting up watch. Let's figure out what we'll do in the morning. My vote is we get payment for the delivery first thing in the morning so we have some spending money. I for one need a good long bath and a hot meal.
Kai smiles happily at the idea of a bath and meal. "Do you think they have a bath house? Or just rooms? I'm fully for a meal and a bath. I think we all would enjoy the brief downtime." She looks around the group to see if anyone is going to take watch before making a smaller bed for Zurzg, leading him over to the same stall as her and sitting crosslegged. "Goodnight everyone."
Once everyone is situated, Kai will sit crosslegged with Zurzg in their stall bed and study him for a minute. She'll whisper softly as to not disturb the resting others.
Zurzg:
"The neck chain seems uncomfortable. I could loosen it a little if you'd like." She'll pause momentarily before looking away in thought. "You know... There's more than just being a leader of Goblins. You can always JOIN us. I wouldn't mind finding you something to help you blend in a little more in towns. And maybe we'll get to the point I can just take that thing off of you?"
She'll move to loosen the neck chain slightly to the point that it is less uncomfortable but still inescapable.
Once their short conversation is finished, Kai will move a ball of water out of the trough and into her hands, using it to slightly clean her hands and face a little before getting comfortable in her hay bed.

"You have our thanks, Mister Stonehill sir." Nobody had said as the man took his leave. "Low as it is for some much on it, I think I'll just sleep under the cart, if that's alright."He would eventually say little later. "And seeing as I am, I can.. hm.. Not on fellows whose path is, if only by circumstances, the same as his."He says nonchalantly as he sat down by a wheel.
He yawns and shakes his head. "In any case, as much as I'm curious about that water comment, folk should focus on getting some shut eye. "Nobody at that point takes out a book to start journaling at least for the next few minutes before finding his rest beneath the cart. Keeping out of sight of "Misterstone Hill" at the back of the group, the captive goblin follows the hand holding the end of his chain into one of the stalls. He rubs his neck where the chain has chafed his skin, and looks up with suspicion as the water genasi loosens it for him.
"Zurzg not want to be beaten or killed in morning; did not pull boxes to end up like other goblins." He frowns and rattles his chain at Kai, the loosening of his restraint scant consolation for still being held prisoner. "Should have skinned wolf, Water Person, then could have dressed Zurzg as pet..."
Zurzg curls up and rolls about in his patch of hay, trying to find a compromise between being comfortable and not being choked to death during the night. He falls asleep hissing and whimpering in equal measure.
