You make your way to Sister Linenes shrine of Tymora and the cleric gives you a warm welcome. She is not interested in the eyestalk, but she tells you that Moss visited her yesterday with some potions she made together with Adabra Gwynn, the apothecary that some of you protected from the Manticore. Sister Linenes tells you that Sildar suggested the Firbolg to go with the bloodhounds that you liberated from the Redcaps to Umbrage Hills to protect the old herbalist. Moss brought:
a healing potion (40gp)
a greater healing potion (120gp)
a potion of animal friendship (160gp)
Sister Linene also prepared a spell scroll (inflict wounds) that she would sell for 50 gp.
”Do you have any reagents or herbs that might be used to makes poisons?” She asks Linene.
[Otrov would have handed over the 40 gp (was it?) for research into the hollow darts. She also wants another torch and some gloves if available. Think everything else is okay. If she has enough, she’s into the scroll.

(Thought I posted waaaaay sooner, but I guess it never went through. Great! e_e Oh well, moving on..)
Biggz winds up nodding in understanding, and spending the rest of the trip rubbing his chin and looking thoughtful. Upon arriving at the temple and and seeing Sister Linenes, the bugbear gives her a long once over, before taking out his book again to repeat the same process as he had done with the others. Although with her, he adds a drawing of her beneath the details, and puts some actual effort into it...
Unfortunately, big hands and a moving target do not make for the best combination. At the very least the drawing could be recognized as the priestess, only with bigger ears and a touch too exaggerated... assets.

“I don’t work with poisons my dear. If you look for antidotes i can ask Adabra Gwynn if she can mix something...” Linene replies to Otrov. Linene shows you the spell scroll and you can certainly buy it if you got 50 gp. It is full of divine symbols and incantations and you got the feeling, that you need some basic understanding of divine magic to use it. (It needs to be on your spell list)

Margret buys the healing potion "We need to be getting back" and starts to walk out the door (gold removed) but looks first before heading back to the Stonehill Inn 14 Perception
Biggz is still studying his penmenship when Margret makes the statement. "Already? Huh... Oh well. I guess that covers the most important spots in town." He said, fanning the page a bit before closing and pocketing his book once more. "Ms. Linene. Pleasure making your acquaintance. Names Biggz, if'n I hadn't said before." Biggz bows partially at the waist to the priestess then followed after Margret.

I was rolling to see if Otrov gets told about the limitations of spellscrolls or not. Not every roll is a hidden ambush 🙂.
Please make sure to deduct the money for anything you bought.
After checking the village for news and restocking your supplies, you return to the inn, to await Sindars return. Margret uses the time to attune to the gem, some people read, others may spend their time talking about music or sand sculptures. Around midday Sildar returns with a stack of papers and sits down with your group: “OK, tell ma what do you think! For now i have the following challenges. Obviously the white draggon, the orcs that he forced down the mountains, Gundrens mine and that Black Spider Drow. The drow disappeared somewhere into the mountains, so we can not do much right now, beside being vigilant. Kai, Zurzg, Nobody, Dazlyn and Norbus will help Gundren with the mine for the time being. That leaves the dragon and the orcs. I was thinking to send Ostran and 5 of the new guards south west to ask the gnomes there for support, we found old records of a fortress not to far in that area. It could work as a shelter in case the village gets attacked. That leaves you with the blocked Triboar Trail to the East. I have two reports of orc camps along the road there. One is near the mountain pass called Wyvern Tor, the other near Connyberry, at the Shrine of Savras. Now the reason why i would ask you to go there instead of the guards is Connyberry itself. Several decades ago it got destroyed by a rift between the dimensions, but afterwards a group of barbarians started to claim the village. They usually leave travellers and mercenaries on the road alone. But they are fanatically opposed to any official looking soldiers and straight out attack them. So to avoid unnecessary conflict i think it is better if you look after the orcs and the guard after the emergency shelter.” He looks at you and waits...
"I'd be for looking into those orcs." Dain says with a shrug. "We no be near powerful enough to take on a dragon, we barely be managing to survive it the last time we be seeing the thing..."
"What do you be knowing about those orcs?" Dain asks with a glance to Sildar. "Where they be located, any idea of their numbers, whatever ye be knowin would be helpful..."
Nobody is still just as quiet as every since the group's return, but at least has his nose less in a book to appear more actively listening in on conversation. Especially when Sildar turns up again to speak on the plan.
Biggz face falls at the tasks set before the party. Yet apart from a defeated sigh and arms being crossed, he accepted it without a word. Although after a few moments or so he's scratching at his chin fur. "Hey, uh... SIldar... We like... if those barbarians start some crap with us that escalates into a fight, are we allowed to kill'em, assuming its even possible? Or that's a big nono?" He asked plainly.

“You should not encounter them, as long as you don’t go into what used to be Connyberry. The road leads around the village, so there is no problem. I never encountered them myself so i can only tell you what my reports said. Supposedly they fight to proof dominance and power to each other. They have no interest in fighting weaklings, so best to run away before any of their blood is drawn. Once you injured one of them, they will fight to the death.”
Biggz nods and chuckle a bit. "Fine by me. If I ain't get paid for it, far less work is all the better in my book." He smiled, looked once to the party, then back to Sildar. "Looks like we deal'n with orcs then. Any advice you wanna give before we go, or things we aughta be on the look out for... apart from dragons of course. Or, we free to leave?" He asked plainly.
