(I'm assuming we didn't have time for a short rest before the crawler attacked? If we did and Effort got her spell slots back, she'd hex the creature before she attacked. )
Cadmael shrieks loudly and circles around the beast, heckling the carrion crawler so that it is distracted from attacking Brask, allowing the minotaur to struggle on breaking free of his paralysis. (Cadmael is using the help action to give Brask advantage on his next constitution saving throw roll)
As Effort prepares to attack the crawler, Cadmael wheels away, allowing her to eldritch blast it as she backs away. Thanks to Burik's attack, the crawler is lit up like a target, allowing to focus her aim more precisely.
Attack: 16 Damage: 10 force
(If Effort managed to hex it, disadvantage on Strength checks, and an additional 4 necrotic damage if she hit)
OOC: You were probably breaking up the night into three shifts of about 2.5-3 hours each, but I'll say even though Effort took first watch she could have been generally resting.
Effort's blast connects, pushing the crawler back a bit...but its many legs help it to quickly regain its footing. It hisses loudly and whips its tentacles around in a fervor.

OOC: That's right - you rested after the fight in the mountains and have only traveled since then. Don't think anyone has used spells. Also, can Burik stop WHOMPING this thing so badly? Haha.
Burik connects with both versions of his attack, smacking the crawler one way before connecting with his physical hammer, sending it back the other way. It slides across the ground and wriggles with a pained shriek. It flips itself back over and whips its tentacles at Burik.
Attack: 20 Damage: 5 - Burik, make a DC13 CON save or be paralyzed.
It bites down on the dwarf.
Attack: 12 Damage: 9 (if you are paralyzed, advantage: 11)

Cadmael decides to give his aid once again to Brask, should the minotaur choose to swing for an attack at the next opportunity.
Effort continues to fire off eldritch blasts at the crawler, this time with a more resigned, annoyed look on her face than anything else, as it seems the two others have things under control anyhow.
Parts of the crawler are literally tearing away as it moves, blood and ooze seeping out of it...but somehow it has not stopped its relentless attack. It spins on its remaining legs, dodging Effort's blast and narrowly avoiding both of Burik's attacks. It lunges at Burik again, whipping its tentacles first:
Attack: 18 Damage: 5
Make a DC13 Con save. :)
Its momentum brings it crashing into Burik, and it bites down with what remaining energy it has left:

Blehhh, says Brask. Die, worm! He spits on the ground, and raises his maul to strike:
Attack: 25 Damage: 10
Try to trap me? Try to cage me?
Action surge, and he swings again:
Attack: 25 Damage: 13
As the blow connects, he grins with bloodlust, the fury of being held captive, even for a moment, is evident on his face and in every snarling, growling breath. He readies his weapon to pound this worthless creature into mush.
Brask, as you swing your maul down on the carrion crawler, images flash through your mind. The paralyzation its poisoned caused transported you back - not just to your cramped cage - but to being tied up and dragged around every time you acted out. Old ropes tied so tightly they cut through your fur and into your flesh. Gagged, blindfolded, unable to feel or think or act. You didn't like the feeling.
The carrion crawler is motionless, its insides completely spilled out on the wildflowers below. Brask doesn't seem to notice, though, as he smashes it again with his maul, bits and pieces flying up into the air. Again. At this point the force is shattering any pieces of exoskeleton and connecting with earth. Again. Again. AGAIN.
Finally, out of breath, Brask stands up straight and jerks his maul to the side, sending guts and ooze spraying onto the floor. Cadmael hops along the ground toward him, and after a moment, flies up and perches on his shoulder.
OOC: Your first hit killed it so no need to use your action surge. Sorry I couldn't post earlier!
Brask shakes himself, and seems to come out of it. What was that? he mutters. Magic? Poison? Whatever. Not good for eating, I reckon.
He stands up straight and takes in for the first time the full extent of the mess he's created. Heh. Well, he looks at Effort and Burik. I think we got it. He looks at Cadmael. Hey. Good job.He attempts to fist bump the bird.
Cadmael stares at Brask's gore-covered fist with his multicolored eyes. Then he turns his head nearly fully around in that unsettling way that owls can manage to do, and stares at Effort.
I like this one like this. He reminds me more of our patron now.
Effort sighs slightly, and calls out to Brask. "If you fist-bump Cadmael with those fists, you might end up making him look like that bug you just smashed. He says he appreciates the sentiment, though."
Studying the bloody mess of corpses, Effort grimaces. "Leaving the body alone in the first place is the reason we got this unpleasant visit. Now that we have even more bodies strewn about, this will only be more of a danger, unless we take care of it now." Motioning for the others to back away safely, Effort hooks her thumbs together and makes a cone with her hands. Murmuring under her breath, she produces a spurt of flame from her burning hands and catches both the remains of the carrion crawler and the mangled deer corpse in the blast, incinerating the bodies. Clapping her hands when it's done, she stomps towards her bedroll, looking sour. "Now I really need my beauty sleep," she grunts to the others.

Burik puts his hand on Brask's shoulder as he pulls himself back from the savagery. "It's dead, very by the looks of it, good hit." A wave of healing travels through Brask's body as he looks down at the bloody mess. (5 healing Brask)
"Lets hope the smell doesn't attract anything else..." as effort burns the remains of the bodies and he heals himself (9)
Ah, bummer! Good call on advantage. Second attack:
Attack: 23 Damage: 7
Cadmael is up, then Effort.

(We've had a long rest since leaving Burdan (a day or 2 of uneventful travel))
Burik will charge forwards, summoning a Spiritual Weapon as he does so.
The weapon swings as he does:
Spell: 16 : 7 force damage
Hammer 17 : 7 bludgeoning damage

It bites down on the dwarf.
Attack: 12 Damage: 9 (if you are paralyzed, advantage: 11)

24 (7 advantage if poison from being a sturdy Dwarf)
Burik shakes off the attack, showing only a minor red mark from the tentacles.
Brask, you may roll another DC13 Con save at the end of your turn to try and recover from your paralyzation.

CON save: 22
UggghhhhhaaaaAAAAARRRRR!!!!
Brasks breaks free of whatever was holding him.
(But that's at the end of the turn, so nothing to do till next round...)
Attack: 21
Damage: 5 force
Hex Damage: 1 necrotic
Spiritual weapon 8 : 11 radiant damage
Hammer 8 : 3

Effort takes advantage of Brask's distraction of the worm to fire another eldritch blast at it.
Attack: 22
Damage: 6 force
Hex damage: 6 necrotic
Cadmael will give advantage to whomever attacks the creature in melee next, if there's anything left to attack.
Hammer 19 : 9
Spiritual weapon 7 : 8
