Hey all - I'm home! Thanks for your patience. Still a little dizzy/nauseous on antibiotics, but I'm trying to slowly catch up on things. Effort, just FYI that the three prone men were spread across the bridge - with the leader thrown off onto the river bank by Kurama. So you'd only be able to target one, or you could position yourself to shoot down onto the leader.
Brask, you absolutely obliterate one of the fallen enemies. The guards around him look on in pure terror as you grin at them. Roll an intimidation check.
Wow, that's actually halfway decent. Brask's grin has a little saliva dripping from his mouth, so hopefully he looks like he's planning on eating these guys.
I think Effort would shoot down the leader with a Blast instead of waste a spell slot on only 1 of them, especially since he's hexed. Sorry about that! Rolling in the game log:
EB Attack: 13 to hit DMG: 13 (8 force, 5 necrotic)
The blast sends water and mud up into the air around the leader, but misses him as he struggles to get out of the water.
As Brask stands maniacally smiling at his newfound enemies, four of the guards are visibly shaken. One throws up as he surveys the scene, and the others are clearly ready to take off at the first opportunity.
Meanwhile, one of the other beefy soldiers - the one remaining on horseback - turns his steed and charges at Brask, swinging his mace down on the minotaur.
Attack: 11 Damage: 7
Attack: 14 Damage: 7
The second remaining beefy soldier gets to his feet, charging forward at Kurama and throwing a shoulder into him, trying to send him over the side of the bridge.
Opposed check: 10
Pip fires an arrow at the mounted soldier attacking Brask...
Attack: 13 Damage: 7
The arrow sticks into his thigh as he winces. His horse trots around in a half circle, kicking up dust.
Easily shrugging off the shove attempt with the released energy, Kurama turned towards the beefy soldier and attempted to strike him once to knock him off balance before shoving him into the water below as well.
The leader slowly pulls himself out of the muck of the river bank, standing up and climbing back up and around to the eastern side of the bridge near Kurama and Effort.
The four guards at the western edge of the bridge run past Brask and the mounted soldier, fleeing northward along the river bank. The soldier screams out "Cowards! You'll be beheaded!"
Back on the eastern side, the three remaining guards charge forward with spears, all attacking Kurama...
(The four soldiers will have to make their DC15 dex saves or be slowed and injured by the caltrops I think. Yes... if they fail, they stop moving this turn and take 1 damage. Not that I particularly mind if they flee, but traps are what they are XD)
One guard deftly leaps over the caltrops as he scurries around the corner of the bridge. The others all bumble about, tripping or cutting their feet as they attempt to flee.
Effort grits her teeth and takes new aim at the head of the bandits, figuring him as the most important opponent to take down. She moves back as far as she can while letting off another eldritch blast:
Attack: 18 to hit Dmaage: 14 force + 2 necrotic
Noticing the soldiers fleeing, she yells "Pip! Light the fire!"
(Cadmael will give advantage to the next allied melee attacker)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The leader notices and tries to evade the blast a moment too late, as it lands on his back shoulder. The beefy soldier toward the eastern side of the bridge rushes to his aid, swinging at Kurama as he begins to become surrounded.
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Attack: 13 Damage: 4
At the western edge, the mounted soldier swings down on Brask...
Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Attack: 24 Damage: 11
Pip leaps out from cover after having ignited his torch. He runs past the group of guards, dropping the torch low and igniting the edges of the trap. The flames quickly build and start licking and snapping at the guards.
Kurama, you're up with advantage as Cadmael swoops in to assist.
Kurama was unprepared to fend off so many foes at once and was struck repeatedly by the guards and soldiers who had surrounded him. His vision going blurry, he wildly struck out in the direction of the beefy soldier before shifting the released energy from amorphous whip-like shapes to a pair of floating shields that circled him slowly, ready to block any new attacks.

Brask can see Kurama getting beat up, but also Pip being a smart little goblin and he grins, encouraged and determined to finish off these scumbags:
Attack: 23 Damage: 15
That was against the one nearest to him. As a bonus action, if the angle of the bridge allows, Brask will use his Hammering Horns ability to try to shove the soldier off the bridge. He needs to make a STR saving throw, DC 14, or be pushed 10 feet.
Yeah, take care of yourself! No rush, wr‘ll.be here still ;-). Get well soon!
No worries, take care and get well. :)

Thanks! Still getting back in the groove but I think I'm on the mend.
Opposed shove check: 13
Kurama's strike cracks across the soldier's shoulder, sending him staggering back, but he regains his footing just in time to fight off the shove.
Brask, you're up. You have the mounted soldier right on top of you.

Brask attacks, maul swinging in a long arc:
Attack: 10 Damage: 7
He snarls, and tries to maintain his intimidating presence despite the poor miss.
The leader slowly pulls himself out of the muck of the river bank, standing up and climbing back up and around to the eastern side of the bridge near Kurama and Effort.

Kurama cracks the soldier across his chest. As he hunches over in pain, the energy transforms around the monk, turning into shields.

Brask swings upward, connecting with the soldier's side.

The soldier is sent flying back off his horse, crashing onto the bridge below. He doesn't quite fall in, but you've got him prone.
The leader of the group, finally back up on the bridge, steps confidently toward Kurama and swings down his long sword...
Attack: 12 Damage: 10
Attack: 5 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
The guards follow his lead...
Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Attack: 7 Damage: 9
"You will die for this mistake!" The leader shouts as Kurama is skewered by one of the spears. "Pitiful fools."

(Both of you didn‘t roll with advantage last time! Cad‘s so sad he came back :P)
Effort redoubles her attempts to brong the leader down, Cadmael aiding her:
25 to hit
13 damage (10 force, 3 necrotic)
