OK, let's rewind. You start to follow them but don't make a scene yet.
It doesn't seem like this street is going to offer you the kind of privacy you were hoping for. It runs from the center of the city down to the docks, which unfortunately a lot of folks use. The two men continue on their way, seemingly heading toward either the headquarters (which was down in the dock district) or to the boat. You can't be sure which yet, but it's bringing you the same way regardless.
"The street seems too crowded for your plan." Kurama replied to the others after following the two for a little bit. "Perhaps we should take matters into our own hands?" Kurama would then go on to quickly explain his idea, as the quickest member of the group, he would disguise himself (or at least his face) and attempt to pick pocket one of the sailors. Whether he succeeded or not, he would lead them to a more "private" location where the rest of the group would be waiting.
(OOC: based off the way I roll with Kurama, there's a 90% chance this fails spectacularly XD)
(we can run with that. sorry for being slow posting, the forum is kicking up fatal errors every time I try to view a thread and then freezing my browser. That cute little "this is our fault, not yours" message isn't helping)
"Agreed," Effort says. "Although if you want to just cut to the chase, I can attempt to stun them with my power. A backup plan, should yours fail," she tells Kurama.
Let me know if you want me to hit them, says the ever-helpful Brask. Or, you know, I could try to knock them out, if you prefer that, he adds, unable to see why anyone would. As planned, he will head along with Effort and Pip to somewhere up ahead where they can lie in wait, but with his crappy perception he's not going to try suggesting or searching for where that might be, he will leave that to the others.
"That is an agreeable back up solution. And once we are out of sight, hitting them will be more than appropriate." Kurama replied to Effort and Brask.
Quickly finding a suitable alleyway (I'm assuming), Kurama would then put on his disguise. If anyone had a long cloak, he would borrow it to cover his attire, otherwise, he would simply cover his head to hide his face and tattoos. Assuming his disguise was passable, he'd nod to the others and make his way out of the alley and back into the crowd, quickly trailing the two men...
(Not sure how much of the action I should roll/ play out, I'll do it all just in case you want/ need it)
Stealth to sneak up towards them: 3 (Nat 1!!!!!) (Of course I roll a one lol!!)
Sight of hand to pick pocket them: 13
Disengage where he succeeded or not (use 1 ki point of necessary)
Run to the alleyway (use 1 ki point to dash as a bonus action if necessary to stay ahead of the men)
You wouldn't really need to sneak up on them since there are plenty of people just walking up and down the street. You're trying to make them feel/see you pickpocket them though, right? You want them to follow you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The other three simply pick up their pace a little, slowly working their way up the street in front of the two Dark Forest members. When there is enough distance between you and them, and some other people in the road to hopefully distract them, you duck into a nearby alley to the left.
Okay, they'll roll perception to see if they notice you or Kurama getting really close...

They don't! Kurama successfully grabs a coin purse from one of the men, quickly disengaging and running down the alley where the rest of you are laying in wait. "You got a death wish, twerp?!" They start to immediately chase after you, entering the trap.
If possible, Kurama would continue to run ahead, brining the two deeper into the alleyway and hopefully past the hiding Effort/ Brask/ Pip so that they can ambush them from behind.
Effort waits until Brask has taken a swing, and then summons an orb of Darkness around the two, barely missing Brask. Able to see just fine through her own trap, she darts into the blackened sphere and strikes at the injured one with the haft of her dagger.
Brask and Effort combine to easily take down one of the two men, the other left confused and quite literally in the dark. "Hey! Wh-what the hell is going on? Who's there?"
Brask moves to grab the other one, trying to pin his arms behind his back with one hand and clamp over his mouth with the other. He can't see the man I guess, but tries to feel out his location from the guy's yelling.
Effort ducks around Brask and pushes the man into his arms. „Silence, unless you want to end up like your friend,“ she says, low and threatening in the darkness.
"Why thank you," Effort says, helping herself to the two men's supply of gold and weaponry. "But that isn't all we're after. Tell us about the ship at the docks that you work on. And be thorough about it," she says, in a voice so silkily pleasant that it's threatening.
Assuming the the trap worked out successfully, (Kurama can only guess due to the magical darkness), Kurama moved towards the entrance of the the alleyway and kept watch for anyone else who may have followed after him or looked like they may be heading in their direction.
"The...the ship?" He seems confused. "We load up goods from here, swap them with goods on the far isles. All kinds of stuff...mostly drugs, but sometimes old pottery and other dusty crap. If you've seen the ship...I mean, it's big. Three levels below deck. Most of us usually just work the deck, keeping watch, loading and unloading, that sort of thing. First level down is mess hall and captain's quarters, then sleeping quarters for everyone else, then storage at the bottom."
Kurama creeps up to the edge of the building, peering out at townsfolk walking up and down. Nobody seems to even glance at the alley, preoccupied with their own tasks.
"If you're trying to steal something, it's a death wish." He goes on. "Fair warning."

There are certainly alleyways running along this road that you could assume would be more private if you could lure them there.

Brask would have a readied action to bop one over the head with his maul at the first opportunity. A non-lethal bop, of course.
Effort waits until Brask has taken a swing, and then summons an orb of Darkness around the two, barely missing Brask. Able to see just fine through her own trap, she darts into the blackened sphere and strikes at the injured one with the haft of her dagger.

Intimidation: 10, 20 with advantage
If Brask is grabbing him you definitely get advantage!
You can feel him tense up. "Wh-what do you want? Take our gold - we aren't carrying much."

Roll 2d20 for gold.

"A death wish, hmm? And why's that? As I said, be specific. Very specific," Effort says, dragging a clawed finger underneath the man's chin.
23 gold
(Sorry, I injured my hand yesterday and couldn't type at all!)
