OOC: Ferdinand is unable to act beyond avoiding all damage, as the Tomb of Levistus prevents him from doing anything until his next action is done. So, neither this round, nor next wll he be able to act, though he still did manage to not get hit by a double crit, so that's a major plus.
Bala runs towards the Harpy, who attempts to avoid him, but the Tabaxi is far too agile. Bala jumps higher than the creature could anticipate, and, smiling while in the air, lunges with his claws at the Harpy's head, plunging the claw into her eyes. The Tabaxi can feel his claws penetrate the Harpy's flesh, going into her eye sockets until his fingers are within her eyes. The attack over, Bala jumps down and does not even turn around, as the lifeless body of what was once his mighty enemy limply falls down behind him. He smiles, and searches for his new target.
Meanwhile, Dihek'nir lets loose two arrows at the other Harpy, both of which hit her. The Harpy clutches her chest, attempting to dig the arrows out, which only worsens the situation for her, and she first loses consciousness, and then her life, as she too rejoins her companion.
The Harpy Matriarch screeches, as she stops her abysmal singing and casts some kind of spell. Instead of the voice that was coming from her, now you hear a far more deafening screech, that seems to originate from your very minds. It is extremely unbearable, dealing each of you 30, or half that on a successful WIS save with a DC of 13.
Gedyr draws in his breath, Shaking off the attack but realizing he is weakened. He has made a mistake underestimating these beasts...and now he and his friends are in trouble....
He is going to advance into a position where he can see the Harpy and fire off two more shots, using cover if he can. Afterward he will drop his bow and activate his blade song. He will give the old beast a smile an blow it a kiss...hopefully buying his comrades time for something...
Attack: 16 Damage: 13
Attack: 26 Damage: 8
Gedyr's AC is now 19 with Bladesong up, and attacks that rely on sight are at disadvantage due to Blur. If he is hit with an attack he will try to cast Shield to bring his ac to 24.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The Harpy Matriarch had thought herself shielded from enemies, as well as likely thinking, that her spell had killed everyone, so she was wholly unprepared for Gedyr's attacks. As a result, both of the arrows hit her squarely, dealing 22 damage, which brings her total taken to 33. She seems considerably hurt, though not yet dying.
The Matriarch tries to evade Gedyr, flying up, which makes melee attacks an impossibility, but in doing so, she is only able to let loose a single arrow against her target.
Arrow Strike - 27 or 11, whichever is lower, damage, if hit: 9
Ferdinand is, once again, able to act from now on.
Death Saves for Dihek'nir 9, and Bala 3.
Here's the positioning after round 4:
It is your turn now.
OOC: That Blur turned out to have been a very good idea.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gedyr sprints straight at the Matriarch, drawing his sword as he does. Immediately a beam of light erupts from the empty pommel, shedding bright daylight around Gedyr....He smiles again at the Matriarch, and utters words of power in the ancient high elven tongue pointing at her with his free hand.
move to P5 (40' with Bladesong), bonus action activate the Sunsword.

Ferdinand tries to finish off the harpies as he is not equipped to help his fallen friends. At least not while he is engaged in a fight. He casts mind soike on the matriarch for 14 psychich damage or half wen she succeeds on a dc14 wis save

Gedyr and Ferdinand act in unison to somehow and the threat posed by the Matriarch. The blast erupting from Ferdinand, combined with two of the four fiery strikes originating from Gedyr hit the Matriarch, who struggles to put out the flames engulfing her feathers and is unable to bear the psychic attack upon her. These attacks, combined with the already depleted powers of the Matriarch, are enough to claim her life, with the blue-feathered corpse falling down from the sky and onto the grass below.
With the battle over, Gedyr and Ferdinand have a chance to help stabilize their friends, so the chance of them succumbing to their injuries in no longer there, but they are still quite unconscious.
The Harpies themselves seem to be rather useless corpses to loot, as their weapons are crude and not particularly usable. However, the old chapel and the tower, which are clearly empty (unlike the pyramid), seem to have valuables within.
Part Perception Roll: 21
Both buildings seem to have been hastily abandoned. There are some items within, which have succumbed to the passage of time. However, within the chapel, you find a chalice, which seems to be made of gold. It looks like this:
At the same time, inside the tower, there is a corpse of someone dressed in a somewhat aristocratic manner. He seems to have died a decade ago at least, breaks on his bones being in line with the harpies' attacks. While there is nothing to help you identify him, on his hands, you see bracers, which have resisted the relentless attacks of time and seem to be quite valuable. Moreover, on his belt, there is a pouch, containing 120 Gold Pieces (each of you can allocate 30 Gold Pieces to your inventory).
Finally, on top of the tower, you can see a banner. It is old, slightly blood-stained and torn, but is still usable. You assume that this flag might have sentimental value to someone, as the symbol of persistence or something like that. It is the standard Flag of the Empire, which looks like this:
ooc; I understand that we have searched the temple as well?
"I can cast a spell to help us carry them....and we can move out from here now, or we can take a short rest first."
Gedyr can ritual cast Tensor's floating disc and they can load up the unconscious onto it....it's good for an hour before it' needs to be re-cast. I'm not sure how long unconsciousness lasts.
ooc: The Bracers will actually give Bala a one better armor class than his leather....
OOC: No, you have not gone in, the temple does not show clear signs of being abandoned, instead its stairs being somewhat recently used, so in your current state it is a rather dangerous decision to make, as there might easily be enemies within.
"What is your plan gedyr? do you want to wait for those to wake up? or you want to go have a look first? i could make them unseen to keep them safe. also i want to apologize for being so stern on comming to this place. was not really the best choice."
"I am also seriously wounded. Let us take a short rest in one of these structures first regardless." Perhaps our comrades will at least be able to travel"
The party takes a short rest. At the end of it, Ferdinand and Gedyr feel its effects (OOC: you can roll hit dice), while Dihek'nir and Bala wake up, but they have 1 HP each, and are not really feeling refreshed (OOC: no other benefits from the rest).
Meanwhile, Herring goes inside the entrance of the temple pyramid. It is very dark in there, so there is not much to see. Though the fact that it is not lit whatsoever can mean only two things - Nobody in there, or something that can see in the dark. Herring turns back to return, only to feel a rather bad smell coming from inside. It smells like death. That is all the information the familiar provides Ferdinand with.
Outside, it is starting to get dark. You assume that it will be night in roughly an hour-and-a-half.

„Ah, your finally awake! You guys ok? Or do y‘all wana rest some more? I‘d be up for a pick nick. Also sorry for rushing here. Thought it would not be as crowded.“
Gedyr will advance out into the open, but first casting as a spell that causes his image to blur and make him more difficult to hit.
He will move to the open at H13 and cast Blur

Olloray Dim - Limbo's Pit
Gunther Korroden - Nightmares in the Mist
Wisdom saving throw for Dihek'nir: 8

The cat is down too.
