Before Bala regains consciousness, his nose will pick up the scent of precious metals. "I smell...the shiny..." He will then try to pick himself off the ground, but is too weak to do so, and will reach out to his healthier comrades. "Give it to me. Give me the shiny..."
„I got no need for bracers.“ derfinand tosses the bracers over to bala. „I think you are the only one that really benefits from thise anyways. I would prefer some stab-utensil.“
OOC: Bala gets the bracers, add them into your inventory.
Gedyr looks at the chalice. He has been around the multiverse, so there are a lot of religions and religious items he has encountered. Strangely, the religion this Empire seems to follow, that of "The Light", is widespread on a number of worlds Gedyr has been to. They are likely not the same, of course, as these worlds have no contact with Ylfios (or however this planet is called), but the fact remains. And, on one world where there was a conspicuously similar religion, their high-ranking priests employed such chalices. They are perpetually empowered to be able to summon a magical drink within, that heals its drinkers. Gedyr can intuit that this is what this chalice can do.
OOC: Now that you have seen the items you recovered, and all of you are up and running (if quite hurt), what is your next move?

Dihek'nir growns and tries to get his hearing back.
He casts Healing Word on himself for several times before he understands that it's actually working. 5 + 4 + 7 health. And once on second level as well, 8.
"Ok, I'm better.. still damn hurt, but better. Lets be careful"

Ferdy ritual casts detect magic and scans the perimeter for any arcane energys in and around the buildings. He does not go in far in the buildings, just about 15-20ft. Stealth check if necessairy: 12
Bala will drink from the chalice, wanting to drink it all, but, also not wanting to hear it from the group. Once he's finished, he'll pass it to the gith.
OOC: I assume Bala and Dihek'nir share the drink equally. In the future, please tell me what share of the liquid you drink.
The drink, strangely, tastes like honey diluted in water. It is very refreshing and heals both of you for 15 HP.
Ferdinand tries to detect magic, but, as with the previous temple of Thurzon, the spell cannot penetrate the building's walls. There is nothing of interest beyond what lies inside the pyramid, however, as Ferdinand senses this place to be both mundanely and magically quiet.
The Sun is already setting, so, in a matter of a couple of minutes, it will be night. Will you camp out, return to the town or venture inside the temple?
The Party, not wanting to remain outside for the night, enters into the Temple. They have no light source and it is totally dark inside, however, so they remain huddled at the entrance.
It is in this state of affairs, that they hear a shriek. The party has no chance to react, as whatever is coming at them, comes from the dark where they had no chance to see (or, if they did, the party failed to act on this).
There are two creatures, that run towards the party from the dark. However, they are not fast enough to reach them yet, but are able to cast spells against them. Both look rather similar, resembling dead women with torn clothes, as well as fangs, claws and grey skin.
They look like this (with one being exactly this way, while the other has blond hair instead of black).
The Spells are different from each other. The blonde casts a spell against Ferdinand, as a result of which bats, rats, cockroaches and appear around the warlock, swarming him and attempting to bite and claw at him, dealing 15 damage, or half that on a successful CON save with a DC of 13.
The brunette, meanwhile, casts Silence, centered just outside the entrance of the temple, at b7, which affects all four members of the party.
This is the positioning during round 1:
(So, you are in a corridor, at the entrance. Outside, to the west, there is the temple stairs, while to the north and the south are the moss-covered walls of the pyramid. To the East you see that the corridor continues, though you cannot see much).

Dihek'nir is ready for this, he rushes forward to the one with black hair and swings away:
Attack: 13 Damage: 12
Attack: 25 Damage: 14
He will follow that up with a Defensive Fourish, adding 2 to the damage of the second hit and also to his own AC, bringing it to 18 for a turn.
He will also cast Healing Word on himself at 3rd level to gain 12 additional health. (Assuming here that right against the guy is outside of the range of Silence)

Con sabe for ferdy: 23
ferdinand casts thurzons hail and sends twi ice chunks between the two creatures for 5 and 3 cold damage or half when succeding on a dc14dex save. If one of them dies, he will use his accursed specter feature on the one

Gedyr draws his empty hilt and causes a beam of radiance to light, casting daylight around him.....he then utters an additional magic incantation....."Horth Belth" and rapidly advances to the enemy.
ooc: The spell casting would have to occur outside the silence, so Gedyr would need to advance outside of it's radius first.....IF this is not possible he will not caste the haste and instead get an additional attack....

Botting Bala for this round. The Tabaxi remains in his place and shoots an arrow at the blonde vampire.
Attack: 10, damage, if hit: 11
The Tabaxi's rotten luck with his bow continues, as he is unable to land a strike and the arrow hits a wall somewhere in the darkness.
Ferdinand makes his ice chunks explode between the vampires. They attempt to dodge the shards.
(I am combining the saves for simpicity)
Brunette DEX save: 4, Blonde DEX save: 8
The Brunette is successfully able to get out of the way of the major shards, taking only 12 damage, while the blonde is hit with the full brunt of the chunks, being dealt 23 damage.
Dihek'nir runs out of the range of the silence spell, healing himself slightly and striking the Brunette. One of his strikes is deflected by the extremely fast vampire, but the Gith is no slouch either, anticipating this and landing a second blow, which causes the Vampire to shriek in pain. It is dealt 12 damage.
Finally, Gedyr runs towards the Vampire, getting out of the enemy's spell's range and hastening himself. Something slightly strange happens, when the Sunblade touches the vampire's flesh, however. The Elf had expected to cut through the monster's flesh, but this was... too easy. Her flesh started to go aflame at the places where the blade touched here, forcing her to scream in tremendous pain. Not only did it take additional radiant damage bringing the total loss to 13 HP, but the creature seems to be in agony, which will be a major disadvantage when she attempts to act next.
All in all, the Brunette has taken 37 damage, while the Blonde has taken 23 damage.
The Brunette chooses Dihek'nir as her target, but she is clearly in too much pain to concentrate on her attacks. She tries to claw at the elf and also to bite him.
Claw: 12 or 21, whichever is lower. Damage, if hit: 9
Bite: 18 or 9, whichever is lower. Damage, if hit: 16
The Blonde, meanwhile, focuses on Gedyr, attempting to do the same as her counterpart:
Claw: 20, Damage, if hit: 6
Bite: 20, Damage, if hit: 14
As was expected, the Brunette, due to her being in severe pain, is unable to be effective. This, however, cannot be said of the Blonde, who manages to land her blows well. Moreover, when she bites Gedyr, the elf can feel, that the blood and chunks of flesh that she ripped from him, was consumed by her, which somehow seemed to heal her by as much as she hurt Gedyr. As a result of this, now the Brunette has still taken 37 damage, while the Blonde has only lost 9 HP.

Ferdinand will move into melee with the dark haired one (K9) and attacks her twice with his glaive. (I think its fair to say that ferdy would have summoned it when entering the temple, to be ready)
attach 1: 25 for 8 slashing damage
attach 1: 15 for 12 slashing damage
On his way he hurls two additional ice-chunks L7 (in range of the creatures but not the party) for 10 and 9 piercing damage.
again, if he kills one of them, he will raise it as a specter.
Dihek'nir decides to put extra effort into the Cooking Knife he's been using lately and goes to fully destroy the Brunette (or Blone if it's dead):
(activating the once-per-long-rest ability) Attack: 28 Damage: 27
Attack: 10 Damage: 13
(damn...)
He will still go with the Defensive Flourish on the second attack, adding 2 to the hit (for a total of 17 damage) and his AC, bring it to 19 for a round.
Before Bala regains consciousness, his nose will pick up the scent of precious metals. "I smell...the shiny..." He will then try to pick himself off the ground, but is too weak to do so, and will reach out to his healthier comrades. "Give it to me. Give me the shiny..."

Gedyr will pass on the Chalice as he was mostly healed from his rest, and believe's Bala and Dihek'nir will need more healing.
"It is getting late..however I think we should push through the temple. We can rest after. We need to get back as we only have a few days."
