(Seethe) As Gridolpho is lecturing you on proper group protocols, you notice marks on the hull that would be consistent with a very large sea creature(s).
Toonary grabs Maya and says "Toonary happy they swim, Toonary not swim." He then pills out two pieces of bacon and hands one to Maya, and plus the other one in his own mouth.
Maya would give Toonary a gentle pat, "How would you prefer to get onto the boat Toonary? I'll help you. I can swim as well, but, we need you with us too." She'd smile reassuringly. "We can try to grapple over and get over by rope... Swim together..." The druid would think of a mount type shape, "Or would you like to magically float as a gas?" She'd think of a new 'trick' she learned.
Maya would let out a genuine laugh, "As long as you're willing." She'd wink. It'd be more of a vapour cloud, but the idea was there. "It'd be slow, but if you trust me and we go together, we should be able to make it to the others."
"Shall we make our way over then?" Remembering he cannot speak while in this form, she waits for a positive movement and for Toonary to lead his way to the ship. She would follow.
The thief stands up and begins brushing himself off. Seeing himself alone for the moment, he talks to himself as it's the only way to guarantee intelligent conversation.
"Some people would say 'any landing ya can walk away from' but we both know that ain't true, right Granddad? It was sloppy, I know it and if ya were here you'd be whackin' me with yer cane. So I guess it's a good thing ya ain't here."
Gridolphowalks over to the railing and sees no sign of Seethe. He begins unraveling his coil of rope, tying his new grappling hook to it.
"Yeah. Yeah. A cheater hook. I know. But I ain't tha one doin' tha climbin' so tha rules don' exactly apply."
He heads for a post in the railing near where he came out of the water. After giving it a few good kicks to check for rot, he loops the hook around it and secures the rope into place. Finally, he tosses the coil out into the water for Seethe.
As Gridolpho lands o. The ship Toonary and Maya would be behind him turning back into there normal forms. After Gridolpho's monologue Toonary says "You pay to Granddad like Toonary pray to Chauntea. Is Granddad a god?"
"If'n we weren't on tha job right now, I'd slit yer jacksie fer sayin' tha. Granddad ain't no god. Granddad is the only person who actually cared enough ta make a difference in my life. Tha gods dinnae give a shite 'bout me. And I ain't prayin'. I'm just talkin' ta a memory."
“It’s good to see you too...” Maya says blankly, blinking from Gridolpho’s defensive outburst. “I was expecting to get yelled at for not waiting. Aren’t you curious how we got over?” She’d tilt her head before shrugging. “Any who, anything worth mentioning from your venture over?”
(Once everyone is onboard) The Emperor's upper decks slope gently down towards the ship's port side. The forecastle and quarterdeck are empty, and short wooden stumps are all that remain of the ship's masts. The double doors leading to cabins fore and aft appear intact, as does the metal grate in the deck that offers access to the lower decks. Aside from the rhythmic creak of the ship's badly weathered timbers, all seems quiet.

(Gridolpho) The ropes are made of hemp.

Gridolpho would like to use his new Swim speed to build up momentum underwater and launch himself as high up onto the ship as possible.

(Gridolpho) You manage to leap out of the water. However, your landing isn't very inspiring as you get tangled up in some rigging littering the deck.
