The giant wolf spider will chatter and skitter onto the webs to give more room for others to stand where there aren't any. While touching the webs the druid is innately aware of every creature touching it and where they are. Using this to her advantage, she'd lash out to bite at some spider(s).
Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Bite: 18 Damage: 7
The target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
(Maya) Your websense detects no additional foes beyond the Ettercap, and the Giant Spider.
Gridolpho's attack against the giant spider strikes a vital spot. With an anguished scream (Artistic license) the monstrosity collapses to the deck, eliciting a cry of outrage from the Ettercap.
(Gridolpho) You're right, a 9 would not hit. I had just got off work and was tired when I posted. Since it was a mistake on my part, I'll go ahead and give you the kill to keep the Story moving. (Mea Culpa)

Acting quickly, the Rogue ignites a torch, and tosses it into some of the webs. The flames disperse on of the swarms.
Strands of webbing erupt from the Ettercap's abdomen in an attempt to ensnare Gridolpho, but fall short.
Maya's Turn.
