“That was incredible. Thanks Maya we did it together. We are starting to be good together right?” She says smiling “ Anyone besides Toonary needs help? I can heal you. Then I can go underwater to see if I can find his lair if you want” he says to Gridolpho.

"We can scout together." Maya would nod to Seethe.

(Two water genasi's in this group. The odds! lol Maya's good, she didn't take any direct damage. Thank you!)

(Toonary is at 28 of 34)

Toonary says. "We find things, nice thing, we give to new maybe friends, the maybe not be maybe friends, maybe they be friends."

Seethe raises a prayer to her God and touches Toonari on his wounds. He feels water coming down her palms and whasing away the pain and cloing the wounds as it pass.

(Maya would think to split the $$ evenly amongst everyone. Bring it all to the surface to show everyone? Is the wooden box locked? Gridolpho can unlock if so?)

"Quite tha haul. But, as Grandad always said, 'Any score ye cannae get back tae town tae spend dinnae count.'"

Gridolpho props open Thousand Teeth's maw as best he can and begins prying out teeth as best he can. As his companions look on,

"What? Tha lizzie-folk are gonna need proof we did what they wanted, right? Plus, everybuddy has the right to some souvenirs too."

*Pop*

"Nine hunnered ninety-nine."

*Pop*

"Nine hunnered ninety-eight."

(Maya) The Box is unlocked.

(Gridolpho) Bringing the Head would be definite proof of the Devourer' demise.

The thief looks down at his dagger, looks at the beast's neck, looks at his dagger again.

"Anybuddy got an axe or somethin'?"

Maya will open the wooden box.

Gridolpho coincidentally happens to have 1K Teeth's body between him and Maya.

(Maya) Inside is a piece of parchment with the following words inscribed on it

Currents!

Tides!

Maya would flag the others down to come take a look at it with her.

Coming out of the water with the last of the loot Seethe will go to Maya to see the parchment. 
“I like the motiv here but I don’t see that the poem continues... perhaps there is more on the box?”

(She would like to inspect the box to see if she recognizes any symbol engraved on it, any letter... anything that could help them identify its precedence:

"Two words ain't a poem, specially if'n they don't rhyme. I'll leave tha verba aquatica ta ya educated types, but I'll happily check the box for trickery if'n ya like."

Maya would shrug. "Yeah, not gunna lie. I'm stumped." She'll take another look inside the box, looking at crooks and crannies; how it's made; look underneath the box itself etc.

Investigation: 4

"Axe? No? OK, no axes. No swords. No blades of any kind other than my daggers. Alright then."

After popping several teeth, Gridolpho begins sawing away at the croc's neck with his least favorite dagger.

"All I got to offer is my spear. Figured your dagger would still be more efficient."

The thief grumbles to himself.

"Might as well be usin' mah toothpick here."

Remembering the coins that were found, Maya would distribute it evenly amongst the group. "Here's some coin for your hardship." She'd say to Gridolpho as she passes him his share. "There's a potion too."
