The half orc wipes his brow. “That sounds fantastic! Come, follow me.” He leads around the closet wooden house. Now seeing it up close it is slightly larger than the rest. There is a tarp that’s tethered to the trees above making a shaded area with a stone fire pit in the ground. Stumps are circled around as stools to sit. Next to a table with hand carved l, with holes lined down the sides. The half orc begins placing cups into the holes before bringing out a large waterskin and pouring a liquid into each. “I brew it myself, I call it my honey wheat wine.”
The ale is dark amber colored that has a low carbonation level. It’s smooth but more viscous than a traditional ale or wine. Notes of honey hit first before the sweet cream taste followed by the strong finish of roasted malt hangs on your tongue. It’s super delicious and by the time you finish half you cup realize it’s highly alcoholic.
Risha beams upon tasting the wine, giving the half-orc a respectful nod. "Delicious." She does take the cup slow though, taking drinks while listening to Aether discussing the island with the half-orc.
Drax would take a a cup of the ale. At the first sip a look of surprise would spread across his face. The Yuan ti would refrain from drinking the entire cup and merely sip the drink in the hopes of keeping his wits about him.
A scrunched up face comes across the orc’s face like he bit into an onion by mistake. “Don’t know nothin’ about no temple. I know ale and I know leather, feel free to ask me anything you want about them, don’t know much else fraid to say.” He sits back and finishes his ale before pouring himself more. “We got boats that can follow the shoreline, but if you’re looking for islands, best be headed to one of the bigger ports.”
Matteo takes a large swig of the ale, and grins. Good stuff. You know your ale, and that's no lie. Looks like me and my friends will be walking to the city, if it's not too far. He looks at the others. Unless you fancy a day on a fishing boat. Me,and he pats his heavy metal armour, I'm not getting in anything that capsizes that easy, not in this. Sir Kothric asked me once if I thought I could swim in chain mail, and laughed when I said yes. Then he let me try. Let's just say, it didn't go well.
The half orc slams down his second drink, sternly saying. “I know beer and I know leather, I appreciate the time you spent to enjoy my hospitality but it seems I still have work to do. Good day.” As he walks away from the table and back to the tanning station.
Drax would remain unphased, trying to determine if he was lying.

If Drax believes he knows more about the temple ruins, he would hold up his hand while running his fingers along the crystal in his pocket with the other. "Wait friend! Don't go... might I make a suggestion that you have another drink here with us and tell us all about the temple and how best to get there... Tell us everything you know and we would be very grateful..." Drax would say while casting his spell.

It’s early morning, you probably get to Ankhapur by mid day tomorrow if you left right away by the sounds of it. And yes you’d have some long rests.
You thank the orc for his hospitality (maybe?) and set off towards the East on foot. The environment stays very much the same. Low flat green plains on the left and as the path veers left and right you get some glimpses of the water in the distance to the right. Occasional groups of palm trees and fallen coconuts. There is a more refreshing coastal breeze that brings that salty smell to the atmosphere. After a long day of walking and the sun is close to setting. You begin to look for a place to set up camp. However just creating over the next hill you see a large group of humanoids walking down the same path in the opposite direction. Walking towards you. As they get closer you see it’s a group of soldiers 4 in all walking a line of chained prisoners to some destination back West. The six prisoners are exhausted and caked in mud. Their rough sack clothing crusted into a box like frame.
Perception check DC 15:
Seeing the grungy and malnourished prisoners walk bye, the chains around their necks and hands clasped in front of them. The second to last prisoner Is a Goliath, bald and clean shaven. Underneath the tattered tunic, on the left forearm you see a tattoo that looks like the tail end of a snake (very reminiscent of a symbol of Asmodeus)
Perception DC 20:
You see everything in the DC 15 window in addition to. Under the shin guard of the last guard in line is a matching iconography of an Asmodeus tattoo hidden from those who wouldn’t know the meaning.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As they near civilization, Risha pulls on gloves to cover her black finger. She eyes the prisoners quietly as they pass them.

So walking pass the guards and prisoners enough of you see it to where those that don’t can be nudge with little notice, about the tattoos. At first the prisoner keeps his head down. Hes around 8 feet tall so even with his head down he can see you as you pass. That is until he’s about to pass Aether and he stops dead in his tracks and and turns to the group. The last prisoner bumps into him unexpectedly and ones in front are forced to stop.
The Goliath looks stern, as well as it looks like something is in his mouth. he eyes gaze to each of you one by one. The guard with the matching tattoo walks up in order to push him along, a look of panic and worry is covered by a forceful shove “Get a move on!” But then looking to Aether and his exposed hand stops as well. The other soldiers walk back “Oi! Keep away from the prisoners, we don’t want to be held liable for any damages!” Says one
The Goliath and the Soldier give you a slight nod.

”I see. And if my friends and I were in need of a drink before continuing on our journey, where would you suggest?”

”A fine drink. I suppose you hear all kind of tale from the fishers here? Have you ever heard of an island with an ancient temple to the south?”
Risha beams upon tasting the wine, giving the half-orc a respectful nod. "Delicious." She does take the cup slow though, taking drinks while listening to Aether discussing the island with the half-orc.

"Walking will be fine." Aether drinks normally and prepares to go once the drink is finished.
"Do you know anyone that might know something about the temple..." Drax would ask over the lip of his cup... focusing hard on the half-orc
