Ani and Meiara:
You spot a group of seven shifters, these much more muscled and fit than the five from yesterday. These are watching you, weapons at the ready, but to the side and out of your path.
Unless pointed out as well, Vusgaar keeps his gaze forward and on the path ahead of them. "They are nothing, if not persistent.... But, if they are not interested in engaging us, the same courtesy should be extended -- IF only to avoid needless conflict." Vusgaar suggested. "Unless the desire is to... parley with them this time. Could be that this batch are the Qiku?"

Ani will weave between group members to attempt at getting lost in the crowd for stealth advantage should a situation arise. For now she'd observe and whisper with the sound of the wind to her group members. "Their weapons are drawn. Be alert."
Stealth: 2 (lol rolled a d8 instead of a d20)
Real stealth: 12
(She may not be able to disappear in the crowd, but perhaps be quiet enough to communicate.)
“Then let’s keep an eye out on them, for precaution.” Demetrios decides, hand tightly gripped at the hilt of his blade, eyeing the shifters one by one.

As you don't bother the shifters, they don't bother you either, watching you pass silently.
Day 3: 5
OH GOODIE. Just the Tundra menagerie here sigh
You're traveling after lunch on the third day when you see a group of large humanoids in the distance. They're nearly ten feet tall, with white hair and blue-tinged skin. Jhalaar blinks. "Icebinders? They're incredibly rare up here. Half-giants, and they wander all around the Tundra. Not hostile, but...y'know, still Tashanans. They usually know the area pretty well, especially the aukrak news and any movements." She frowns. "I...guess we could ask them about Kalaak. If we have to."
Vusgaar's reaction to Aali's statement is to immediately looked to Talaak, and raise a brow. "That would include the more violent methods." He stated casually. Though in the face of even remote annoyance, the shifter kept eye contact troughout, as is respectful, but curtly lowered his head afterwards. "Would we be expected to Barter with them for the information? And if so, what?"

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
The Icebinders come closer. As they get nearer, you see they're armed, but relaxed, their weapons in their sheathes or slung across their backs. Several of them have the height and build of half-giants, but others are slightly smaller, although still topping seven feet tall, and look like goliaths. The massive half-giant at the front of the group, a woman with white braids and a huge sword sheathed across her back, raises her hand. "Hail. If we come closer, you going to attack?"
Aside from making sure his hoold was up, and crossing his arms across his chest, Vusgaar was content to sit in the proverbial background, watching for any sudden movements. For despite their weapons being sheathed, only a fool would think the Ice Binder's movement to be ponderous. He keeps an eye on Talaak too, though less so than the giant-kin.

The giantess nods. "Kalaak are all our enemies. Wish you luck, outsiders." She inclines her head. "No sign of aukraks nearby. You'll go unmolested by us."
Meiara bows before the giantess, glad that they were able to solve this without violence. "Thank you." She leads her party on to the next encounter that Books will roll through the tundra.

Aali glances at the group casually. "Look like Saartuk to me. Coastal tribes, fairly neutral. Might just be keeping an eye on us out of caution."
