The catican lets out a mournful yowl as he's forced to double time it after the transform shifter. Yet, no other command is given, so he reluctantly never stops flapping those wings of his. "To do with them? Or combat them?" He replied gruffly. "If the latter, we must know terrain and exacting numbers. But ultimately, the voice must go."If given a confused look about 'the voice' he launches at least into an explanation about particular Kalaak acting as a go-between the tribe and some dark entity.

Ani would look to the others who are still there and tilt her head inquisitively. Did we have a plan? She wondered. She didn’t remember any, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t one?
Talaak crosses his arms, "When we find the savages, we cut off the head. We'll have the Voice take us back to the Corruption, and we'll stop this infection at the root."
Vusgaar just gestures to Talaak, mutely thankful for his elegant way of putting things... even if somewhat inelegant at the same time. "The corruption... No mere man, by our reckoning prior to coming to these lands... Difficult to remove, by our estimation... Possibly even only a symptom of something worse." He frowned and shook his head. "Either way, it needs to be cut out."

Tel-Kin moves fast and low across the ground, literally lowering her head to sniff it more than a few times. There's a fierce joy on her face as she runs, although it's replaced by a curious mix of fear, disgust, and hatred as she stops at a churned up space of ground. She follows the tracks leading away from said ground for about fifteen minutes before racing back towards the group.
After about an hour, Tel-Kin rejoins the larger group, the shifter having reverted to her more humanoid form. She nods at Lirika. "Found tracks, Tel-Lir. No more than a day old, a raiding party."
Lirika smiles, the wide grin showing her sharp teeth. "Excellent. Lead the way, Tel-Kin. We may be able to catch up to them tomorrow, if we move fast."
The group sets out, Lirika heading towards the front with Tel-Kin. Lirika clearly expects to be leading the group.
Vusgaar, for the time being at least, offered no complaints or resistance to Lirika taking the lead. In fact, ever since following Tel-kin through the eyes and ears of the Catican, he appeared to have become quite distracted; only really reacting reflexively to things that follow that time in almost instinctive manner. If someone -does- actively oppose her, or jar him directly in some manner, he snaps out of the haze quickly, and tries to re-affirm the stiff, no nonsense front once more.
But there would continue to be cracks in the facade.

Ani would kind of weave in and out and around the group as she followed. She'd practice ducking off and blending in with the group and ducking back out to watch their tail.
Stealth: 28
She just can't seem to blend in well with this bunch.
The group travels through the afternoon. Tel-Kin leads you to a patch of churned up earth, then along a set of tracks. As night falls, Lirika frowns. "Time to stop. We'll catch up to them tomorrow."
Jhalaar looks like she wants to say something, but closes her mouth at a look from Khern.
Vusgaar gradually comes to his senses as the party made their trek. Though when he does, a more concentrated effort to stand apart from Lirika whenever possible, as if to avoid breaching some unspoken agreement or personal Oath. But despite this, he would at times have drifted over, only to catch himself again...
".... Is there a problem, Khern?" Vusgaar pipes in, if noone else does so.

Khern shakes his head. "No," he says firmly, before adding, in a quieter voice that the Qiku can't hear, "Jhalaar is understandably less than happy about the Tashanan ordering us around. But it's not the time to challenge it, not while we need their assistance."
Vusgaar leaned in to listen, and nodded understandingly. "Right. We were... informed of this, but... hmph... I am not so eloquently, so I will not try to be. You know her best, Khern. A united front we must keep." With that, the shifter stepped out of whatever huddle came about to prepare for the night. Noteably, when he put forth the alarms, the Qiku are not given its benefit. In fact, tied to it was a silent warning woven into the magic, awakening and warning of any of their members stepping into the perimeter.
Not that they likely needed to be close in the first place to kill any in their sleep...
He otherwise shows no resistance to the idea of shared watches, and would even opt take the 3rd.

The watches pass quietly, most of them silent unless the Edgewalkers initiate conversation.
The next morning, a quiet expectation thrums through the Qiku as they murmur among themselves while they prepare, sharpening swords, testing bowstrings, and loading slings. Their air of restrained excitement and anticipation is a counterpoint to the the focused silence of your fellow Edgewalkers.
OOC: Everyone hit the long rest button and switch out spells if you need to. Let me know once you have done so. I have two tests today, a busy afternoon, and stream tonight, but I will do my best to move you guys this afternoon before stream if everyone's ready.
