"Do you think we could convince Jorlan to help us? If he really does hate Ilvara I'm sure he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to humiliate her." Talike stops to think
"Although, it would be risky. These drow seem to take every chance to beat us"
Ash looks to the bowl of soup and offers Duke a smile. "Thank you Duke... But I think this should go to someone else? Maybe whoever decided to cause the distraction. Unless it's you of course. I assume you do not need to eat?"She takes the bowl of soup and carefully sits it the the side, listening to the conversation. "I would prefer to have my things. Some of them are quite personal. The distraction would come after we have gotten out of here. Or else it would be useless to bring all guards to us and not elsewhere."
Ash finishes tidying up Huey a little from his soup mess before she moves to stand again, listening to Ree'lyn quietly and tensing a little. There's a pause before a slight cocky smile comes to her face. She tilts her head and speaks to him in a hushed Undercommon.
"I think you may actually need my help. If you don't mention it to the others. I'd like to keep my assets secret to the others. Perhaps once everyone is at rest?"
She then smiles and claps her hands together lightly. "So we do a little recon today? See what we can gather. Dont get your asses killed and we can attempt an escape when we are ready. Perhaps tomorrow night? We all should get some rest unless there is anything else to discuss?"
She flashes Ree'lyn a look before moving to sit down against the wall and relax.

Clasping his hands in front of his face, Ree'lyn smiles at Jezzika, in the communitarian telepathic link - "Jorlan and Shoor and Ilvara! Awesome! Jealousy. Anger. Bitterness. We can work awesomely with that. Pulling the strings. Hopefully they do not know they could do that to Enkindle and Talike here. "
"If we can retrieve our belongings, I will be able to be significantly helpful with getting out of the caves," Amara says simply through the link. "And if we want to use Jorlan, I would suggest being less direct than actually talking to him...perhaps something like "gossiping" or discussing in earshot of him about Ilvara planning to further shame him or something similar. Something to set him off in a messy, loud way at Ilvara." She folds her hands. "Alternatively, we could instead set Shoor against Jorlan by getting him to think Ilvara plans to go back to Jorlan."
Declaration: The humanoid known as Amara raises a good point. Recommendation: Charismatic units should attempt to subtly exploit the resentment the unit known as Jorlan harbors. Hypothesis: An incident, such as a mass escape would prove to be an embarrassment for the unit known as Ilvara. Secondary Recommendation: Units tend to perform better in groups, so charismatic units should assist each other to increase the chances of success.
"Jorlan would want nothing more than to find an excuse to embarrass Ilvara."Jezzika says. "However, the sheer number of guards in this complex would make any fighting among them and us a suicide attempt. Perhaps convincing Jorlan that freeing us would be the best way to shame her could work?"
Still bothered by all the voices in his head, Huey paces around the cave for a bit, before slumping down in the back end and rapidly falling asleep. Resigning himself to not knowing or understanding what’s going, he decides he’ll just let Jizzica and his new friends Ash and Phineas tell him what to do.

Ash watches Ree'lyn struggle with the cuffs with slight amusement before speaking calmly. "Have we decided what course of action we are taking? Are we going to attempt to get out ourselves? Use the drama to create a diversion? Disguise someone? Use the quaggoth pens as a distraction? Or are we all still brainstorming?"
She seems a little impatient but not to the point of criticizing the others. She simply wants to know the plan so she can figure out her part in it.

"Do you think it would help if I spoke their native tongue to them? Maybe that could garner some pity?" Gwen says curiously, "Maybe if they understand that we respect them they will in turn respect us and maybe leave us an opening? Or maybe we can get them talking and I can listen in real good. Maybe they will give up a secret."

Amara frowns. "Still brainstorming. And perhaps you could use the telepathic link, dear, so as to keep from accidentally revealing our plans to the drow. I'm happy to help someone talk to Jorlan, but I don't think I should be the primary speaker. In general, the primary speaker shouldn't be an elf, should we choose that path. We could also convince him to do something like let the quaggoths out in order to embarrass Ilvara, rather than trying to surmount the hurdle of getting him to release us directly." The elf raises an eyebrow. "And...Gwen, I think you said your name was? The drow will not respect us, no matter what we do. To them, we are dirty slaves, worthy for nothing but entertainment and work."
"Let's try it again another time. " - Ree'lyn gives up on trying to open the chains, and blaming himself for making a few mistakes when trying to instruct the warforged. Sighing in frustration, he looks around trying to make it look like nothing happened. "The Quaggoth must have been trained to attend to specific commands. If we provoke them, they might actually be used against us. Not sure, though. I used to be good tending to my subterranean lizard mount and my spider. But that was about it. I bet on no group riot. Let's wait for an opportunity in each of our designated areas, which means less guards to handle per area. Also, just after we learn more about this place...Velkynvelve, right?...and the House Mizzrym."
"Correct."Jezzika said to Ree'lyn. "And, Amara is right. The Drow consider everyone, especially surface dwellers, beneath them. Unless we come up with a better idea, I have no issues talking to Jorlan. It should be known, however, that he hates me as much as he does you all." Jezzika said, and then reached up, straining to pop off her collar.

Knowing his thoughts are now rushing in his mind and aiming for a quicker exchange with his companions, Ree'lyn communicates his most recent considerations. - "I can offer the guards for me to be taken with Jezzika or Sarith, alongside Duke to the barracks or any of their private quarters under the pretest we will know how to deal better with Drow belongings and not have filthy inferior races in their sights." - upon saying that, the Drow gestures for everyone to not jump into conclusions taking from his argument. - "Bear with me here." - then he goes on - " If Jorlan and/or Shoor come to pick us up, allow me to try convincing one against the other. So, either here or in their quarters, we put that to work. I hope to be making of these chains part of my ruse by then."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jezzika leaned against the slave pen bars, lazily looking out and hoping to find Jorlan. The rest of the inmates had brainstormed about ideas, and it seemed that this one was the most popular vote. So here she was, against the bars, waiting. Jorlan was known to take the night shift, looking for any means to take out his frustration and anger on disobedient slaves while in her quarters, Ilvara and Shoor performed romantic unmentionables.
Praise Umbra, around the third evening hour, Jorlan wandered by the bridge to the guard tower, and Jezzika, as softly as she could, whispered into his mind, getting his attention. He reluctantly came towards the pen.
"Get up."Jezzika waved Ash towards her. "He's coming. Look sexy..er, sexier. Whatever. And hungry. Like you want it. No, don't make that face. Do this. Yes. Good. Ok, showtime."
"What do you two *****es want..?"Jorlan said, standing a few feet back, already a bit warm from the evening alcohol. Jezzika could smell it on his breath from here, and missed the taste of what he was drinking.
"We want to explore an opportunity for you to make someone look bad."Jezzika purred, looking at Ash, and back to Jorlan - like two sisters with a naughty idea. "You know what we're talking about. What could you do tonight to make Ilvara look horrible as she makes sweet passionate love to Shoor - who clearly doesn't deserve her. What could you do tonight that would shame her in the eyes of Lolth. Something bad. Something, perhaps, you could accidentally do? Like leave the slave pen open? No one will know you did it, and as we escape, think about the shame and dishonor she will have to deal with from Menzoberranzan."She pressed her chest against the bars, her top barely containing her breasts. "Come on..do it."
Fall for it, *******: 18
Jorlan stared at Jezzika and Ash for a few moment, clearly undressing both of them, already nearly naked, with his eyes. He glanced around slowly and said. "Get away from the gate." Jezzika and Ash backed away from the gate, and Jorlan, with a soft click, unlocked the door to the slave pen. He slowly turned to the guard tower. "Your filthy gear is being held in there. In two hours I will relieve the guards in the tower. That will be your signal to grab your stuff and get out. Know that Ilvara will be most unpleased." he smiled wide at the notion.
Jorlan turned around and continued his patrol, thinking marvelously at the idea of Ilvara in so much trouble.
"Do you think we could convince Jorlan to help us? If he really does hate Ilvara I'm sure he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to humiliate her." Talike stops to think
