“What is wrong is that we do not ask what is right.” - Ree'lyn's words are that of someone simply stating a fact. - "The morality of an act is defined as the relationship of man’s freedom with the authentic good." - those words would cause surprise to any utilitarian hedonistic person he had ever known, including most of his own people.
"When I act on my own behalf, I know what I am doing. If I don't fully tell the truth at some point, I do not try to pretend there is any form good into being selfish because it was useful. Svana will have to answer for her actions, even if she feels satisfied with the decisions she make. We have faced people like that before. Have we not, Amara?"
Amara regards Ree'lyn evenly. "Should Svana choose to give in to Umbra, then she will face the consequences of her actions, something she knows well. Right now I do not believe it is better to try and bully her into rejecting it. Umbra is demanding servitude. I hope that if we merely offer assistance, Svana will have cause to reconsider her course."
A moment later, her voice sounds in Ree'lyn's head over a private message.
And if she does not, I will do what I must to protect my world, even if it costs me my life and my reincarnation.
Jezzika could see the concern on Svana's face, and too, grew concerned. "Of course, ssin'urn, what is on your mind? Is something wrong?"
Neverlight grove was a mere few days away, but along the traveled road with the caravan it was swollen with spores and mushrooms. Stool was very excited, to say the least, to return to his home, just like Buppido had done back in Gracklstugh.
With a nod, Ree'lyn turns away after Amara's last spoken words, and do manage a smirk as her message reaches him while he walks away. He glanced at Jezzika and Svana and then to Stool. His moment to speak the elf would have to wait. - "So, we are near your home. What can should we know before reaching there?"
"Well, our organization is very important to us. Different from you strange people who go around not attending to your Grove's matters, we have very strict functions within the grove. No one can leave their duties. Even leaving the Grove is a duty, if you are to become a Sovereign." - the myconid is glad to explain. - "We have the circles and circle leaders."
Svana didn’t know how to start. There were words jumbled up in her mind, different ways she could begin this conversation, and the outcomes were the things she feared the most. To buy her more time, the noble pulled Jezzika off to the side by the hands, away from prying eyes and listening ears. When she turned she just let out the first thing that would come out of her mouth.
”I’m scared,” It was abrupt, but it was the truth. “About Umbra, a-and serving him.” She took a breath. “The other night he talked to me, told me t-that he plans to use you to destroy our world and everything in it, a-and he wants to use me as well. To be a herald.” Svana’s hands feel ice cold, shaking in the drows as her heart beat quickens, but she keeps going. “He’s groomed you into it without you knowing it, I-I think, promising you things that won’t matter when you and the world are destroyed in his carnage.” She pauses, trying to compose herself. Finally she takes a deep breath and looks at Jezzika, her eyes masking the mixture of emotions that she’s feeling; grief, uncertainty, fear.
“I-is that what you want? Do... Do you want to lose me? Huey? Everyone that you’ve made friends with here?”

Jezzika looked at Svana without saying a word, digesting what she was saying, concerned with how scared she was."Umbra showed you this?"she asked, in a haze.
Did Umbra show her something it did not show Jezzika? But, why? For what purpose?
"Svana, are you sure?"Jezzika asked carefully. "A..herald? To destroy this world? I have known Umbra all my life, it has been a teacher to me. It has shown me things that I would never ever have access to on my own. Ever. It possesses knowledge of this universe and beyond, and all it asked of me was to serve it. If.."her voice trailed off, and was, for a moment, deep in thought, trying to fit the pieces of a puzzle together. "It is blurry, hazy. I..feel like, sometimes, Umbra shows me things, horrible things, but..I just can't remember. Like trying to remember a dream you had days ago. Nothing is clear in that regard, I just remember the knowledge he imparts to me."she sat down, and sighed. "I don't want to be a part of whatever he showed you, but..it has not mentioned any of this to me."
She got up and smiled, took Svana's hand. "We'll figure this out together, ok? Umbra never told me HOW I could be of service, only that one day I would. In return it's given me information that no one on this world would know, and it's literally orgasmic and intoxicating of what has been revealed to me over time. But..if you're saying that in exchange for this knowledge is to be..a herald? Then.." Jezzika trailed off, deep in thought. She squeezed Svana's hand. "Together, ok? We will figure this out together."
Umbra, what have you done? What are you planning. Tell me!!
During the time Stool was involved explaining the details of his Grove's organization, Ree'lyn took the opportunity to put a plan into motion. His eyes became glassy, three sigils of amber light that changed shades slowly as he spoke arcane words and became blue, then were replaced by three flying humanoids. Their wings looked like those of insects, their bodies resembling tiny elves, pointy ears included.
"By the orders of the Summer Queen, we have been sent to assist Ree'lyn of House Arken'ar, herald of the Summer Queen." - the three of them spoke in unison, as they bowed before him. Bows at their backs and tiny swords at their waist.
Ree'lyn spoke a few words only those near him could hear. Then the three of them departed. One followed by Stool, approaching Step Step Thud and Glabbagool.
Another one flying out to Amara. - "Master Ree'lyn has sent me to be your temporary squire and courrier, would you have any important message to him or a report on your findings that might be of interest to the Summer Queen."
The third one was sent to scout the area in a reckoning mission.
As the days go by Ronnal sticks with Ylsa the caravan master. They talk about many things like clan duties and being the best. On the third night Ronnal has a dream of a changed Gracklestugh.
He stands above the rest of the Duergar clans a beacon of power and war. At his side he sees Ylsa Henstaks Awakening from his dream he gots to Ylsa asking for her hand for marriage. He proposes with her Carvana Routes and his clans military might they could rule Gracklestugh. Before she could answer he stops her telling that first he must face the demons that plague the Underdark. If he survives she can give him her answer.
Answering Duke's question "We are approaching the final steps, yall are almost to the surface. I'm sure everyone is just contemplating."
Amara raises an eyebrow. "Well...hello. Thank you. I don't think I have anything in particular at the moment, though. Do you have a name? Or if you would prefer to keep that to yourself, something I can call you?"
Svana sat herself on her knees in front of Jezzika, keeping their hands intertwined as the other spoke. It was worrisome what she told her, that Umbra hadn’t told her of this, of what it planned to do, and what it plans to use her for, and Svana had to question why it told her. It sounded like the dreams and visions he provided the drow would fade and her memory of it was hazy. Maybe Umbra did tell her, but she couldn’t remember it so. The promise of his unlimited supply of knowledge is a cover of what he really wanted and Svana felt foolish for practically falling for it. She had hope that despite Jezzika seeming too far gone, that she could help rip her away from Umbra’s grasp.
The wizard pressed her forehead against the others, looking down at their hands. “Jezzika, I have no reason to lie to you. I know what he told me, what he plans to do with you and I can’t bear to see you walk further down the rabbits hole than you already have.” She gave her hands a squeeze. “I’m unsure of how he plans to use you, and I know you want what he has to offer. I... I’m still on the fence myself. Umbra has the answer to the question that I’ve been plagued with since my brother was taken from this world, I’m so close... but I would be selfish if I knew the consequences of my actions and continued on.” She breaths and moves to make eye contact with her again. “But I stay because of you. I want to help you too. Together... Together we’ll figure this out.”

Deya pokes her head out of Amara's backpack, where she's spent most of the trip napping. The tiny gold dragon flutters out onto Amara's shoulder to get at eyeline with the fairy, and a feeling of curiousness reaches into the fey's mind.
"Ah, beautiful Pseudodragon!" - Escalla greets Deya with honest joy. - "I must practice some skills and I bet you could help me." - as she says so, she darts away, flying, and ushers Deya to follow her. At some point, she practices play fighting with the pseudodragon, demonstrating skills with her longsword. Now and then, the faerie moves closer and around Svana.

After a while putting her swordplay to test and watching the amazing agility with which a graceful Deya moved, dodged, as she feint attacked, Escalla sheathed her sword. Caressed Deya's neck, as the pseudodragon rubbed her head against the Sprite.

Riding Deya with expertise, swiftly maneuvering in the air, Escalla eyes Svana. In a broad swirl with open wings, Deya lands in front of Svana. A stern looking Escalla looks at Svana from down below.

Beyond the mud and mushrooms that spread across the cavern from the edge, a large, clear pool sat in the midst of the fungal grove in the center of the cave. A central mound seems to be the only dry spot in sight, though a small cliff rises above the cavern floor far across the clearing, with giant mushrooms visible in the distance. Bioluminescent fungi trace strange constellations along the cavern’s ceiling and walls, showing the darkness of the ravine and a mist-shrouded smaller cavern beyond.
Finally, at the end of a cave was a plateau that rose higher than the other terrace, screened by a natural fence of soaring zurkhwood stalks. Muffled murmuring could be heard from atop the plateau.
Ash stares in slight awe at all of the glowing and bioluminescent light around them, her question to Quinn lingering between them as she looks around curiously. After a minute of looking adorably amazed, she looks around them with a less distant look in her eyes. "Stool? Is everyone on the plateau over there? Should we go over there or would you like to go first for our safety?"
