Amara, who's been quiet and serious since waking up that morning, manages a smile. "Well, I suppose we're killing some medusas. Anybody want to do some shopping first, since we'll be waiting on Ree'lyn to finish his chores anyway?" She glances at Ash and Quinn. "And could I perhaps have a word with you two lovebirds? We could include discussing your patron, Ash."

Uh, yeah. Surely we have a moment. Ash had a bad dream, then i felt this choking dark energy well up aound me...

The frustration inside Huey continues to grow and grow, as he stands there and stares at the rest of the adventure group blabbing away. Still not having a clue what the heck they’re all talking about, the boredom quickly sets in. Ambling over to Svana’s side, he grabs her hand and starts to complain “Huey wanna go home!  Home now!”  The tears start flowing rapidly. 

Svana’s smile falters hearing the news, her hand squeezing Jezzika’s to help contain the frustration she felt. “There is always something.” She comments to Duke. “Very well, it must be done.”

Before she could move forward, she taken by surprise at Huey grabbing her freehand, but she relaxes realizing it was him. She speaks gently to the crying half-orc, now also giving his hand a tight squeeze. “I apologize, sweetheart, but unfortunately it seems we have one more job to do before we can go home.” She looks crestfallen for a moment, but manages a soft smile. “A few more heads to smash, Huey, then we can all go home. I think you can manage that, yes? You’re so strong! I can see why Jezzika cares for you so.”

Through tears, you can’t help but notice that Huey’s demeanor changes from one of boredom and sadness, to rank hopefulness, at Svana’s kind words and her mention of head smashing. “Huey like head smashing! Can we go now?”

Ash looks to Amara and nods. "Uh... Sure... Yeah..." She holds Quinn's hand but grabs Amaras with her free one, leading them a slight distance away. After a moment of thought, she speaks hesitantly. "I wish to get rid of Ophidian... What do you want to talk about?" 

Jezzika gave Svana a loving look and gave Huey a hug. "Don't worry big guy. We're almost done. I promise, ok? Almost done."

Amara nods. "First of all, regarding Ophidian. I don't know specifically how to break a pact, but I could see if anyone I know does." Deya pokes her head up over Amara's shoulder, squeaking happily and projecting eagerness. "Deya would like to help," Amara adds with a smile.

Ash gives Amara a relieved smile and nods eagerly. "That would be very appreciated. I just want to be rid of him. He's... Getting to be too much to handle. Even if that means losing my powers." Ash smiles and reaches slowly and carefully to pet Deya, letting her come to her hand if she wants. 

Quinn to amara,

Yeah and his reach has comeout and extended past Ashryn, and has affected me. You helping us may put you in danger as well.. id just like to let you know. And im willing to do whatever needs to be done to keep her safe.

Quinn squeezes Ashs hand gently

"I'll certainly try and look into it, deadly danger is certainly something I'm able to handle." Amara nods. "As for what I was going to ask you...I recently gained an ability-a powerful one-to...well, I think to bring people back from the dead, as long as they weren't dead too long. However..." She frowns. "It requires the sacrifice of a valuable diamond, one I'm afraid I don't have the funds for. I hate to ask, but...you two were quite adept at raising money in Gracklstugh, I was hoping for a little help on that front?"

Oh yes! Sure! We can definitely help. Do you know about how much you would need?

Ash nods and smiles slightly at Amara. "I'm sure we could raise some money. You are helping me after all. And having the ability to revive someone from the dead is also very useful. Name the cost and we'll try for it. I'm sure there are plenty people here in the square we could entertain." She squeezes Quinn's hand back and laughs slightly. "Although I'll need to steal your pan flute again."

"Thank you, dear." Amara gives Ash a warm smile. "I think it needs to be around three hundred gold pieces?"

Quinn gives a nod

Well of course. Anything of mine, you can borrow freely. Do you want to set up now some where or wait a bit for that?

Ash tilts her head slightly with a slight smile. "I... Feel a little better now that the others agreed to help with Ophidian. I suppose we should get started as soon as possible. We have a lot of money to make." She smiles and leans slightly on Quinn before playfully plucking his flute off of him and grabbing his hand, leading him towards the relative middle of the market area.

Quinn starts like a market barker,

Come on! Come on! This woman here is quite the musician! Please, if you enjoy music, come take a listen!

As soon as the two start to pull a crowd, Quinn does his trick seirling both hand over each other, and prestidigitates his lyre, trying to pull even more attention, and starts to stum softly

"Can you guys do that outside??" Dorbo barks out. "We're kinda - oh, I dunno - BUSY here try to plan stuff out - you know, demons and medusas??" He makes a quick gesture, indicating the door to outside.

Talike, who has been all but silent since the fight in Neverlight Grove, speaks to Dorbo

"What exactly is happening with all of this demon stuff you're talking about? Is that why things have been so... weird lately?"
