As they're starting to bed down, Amara sits next to Enkindle. "All right dear, let's talk about your resistance to the telepathic link. It really does improve our stealth if we can use it to talk instead of speaking out loud. That might be important if the drow catch up."
The battle ended even before Svana could think of throwing a spell at the creature. “Good work everyone,” She smiles gently as she closes her spell book. “As Step said, dinner time?”
When they decide to settle down for the night, Svana spends ten minutes setting up an alarm for them around the perimeter. For another ten minutes, she sets up to summon her familiar, a little ways away from the group (enough for them to see her) to concentrate better on what she was doing.

Soon after the battle is dealt with, Ree'lyn takes a time reminiscing his companions tactics, the way they position themselves and which ones were faster to respond to that situation.
"Remember I mentioned the vegetables and fungi? They will go awesomely well with thisrocktopus." - saying that out loud, Ree'lyn tries to draw their attention to the coming task of cleaning and cutting the rocktopus, removing the internal organs, leaving some pieces reserved with herbs, fungi and edible moss. "If anyone come across the ingredients we need, I can get this done. Meanwhile, I would need the ones who are better fit for combat to cut it in small pieces, while the ones who are agile will unravel the entrails and other small parts. Can everyone be part of this?"
As the others prepare to camp Ronnal will stay with those who are cooking. Watching over them in case they picked wrong mushrooms or under cook the octopus, he begins chanting a pray and cast Purify Food and Drink as
"Alright people of the surface and drows. Allow me to pray over us and our food before we eat." He continues the ritual in dwarven.
"Lady of War and killer of Illithids, watch over us as we join together for this meal. Let us watch each others back as we continue to out run the drow captures. Let our combined might crush any foes that dare oppose our will."
Phineas humbly thanks those who checked on him and healed him, a bit embarrassed that he hadn't taken such a blow. "Thanks, thanks. I'll be OK. Need to get faster on my feet, I guess," he jokingly deflects. "Maybe I'll learn to stay behind Huey and Duke a bit more." When the group decides to stop for the day, he takes that opportunity to cast goodberry, depositing the berries in a bag for future use unless someone is in need of one. "I can take a watch," he says. "I'm sure we want to have some people on guard, no?"

Huey laughs a boisterous laugh when he sees Phineas fully healed again. “Friend stay behind Huey, mm’kay?” he manages to spurt out between laughs, and manages to pick Phineas up again, wrapping his arms around him in a bear hug. After bouncing Phineas around for a bit, Huey squeezes him so hard his eyeballs likely popped out of their sockets. A good 30 seconds of this is all Phineas could take, before gently patting Huey on the head like the good boy he is, and receding away to make his goodberries.
Enkindle, without saying a word, tries to jab Amara in the forehead with a finger. Whether she succeeds or not, her expression goes from wary to annoyed as she says, "Now imagine you can't stop that from happening. Can'nae block it out, can'ya? And had to deal with the disgusting and constantly irritating feeling of having some weird mushroom grow off you -- DOING things you don't fully understand to ya. And in case ya haven't figured it out yet, ya old fart, I ain't exactly from around here. So you'll have to 'forgive' me, if'n I don't buy into some alien 'thing' trying to be helpful wholly outta the kindness of its stubby little 'eart." She states heatedly, the flames along the tips of hair creeping upwards.
Realizing this after a half minute of glaring at Amara (and only half-listening during that time), she holds up a hand for patience while trying to taking slow, calming breathes. Eventually the flames die down, though the annoyed look in her expression doesn't completely fade away. "Now if that means I gotta keep a closer eye on things just to keep up with the rest of you chuckle****s, then so be it. And if it means getting creative on my part in turn? Same. ****'n. Deal." At this point she turns away to start gnawing on a ration.
Mid-chew she carries on by saying, "It kinda comes with my faith anyhow, 'nd I'd be thrice damn fool to let it waver again. Doesn't ****'n matter how big a troop we run with, or if Iron man over there's built fer keep'n an eye on things. Helmites... aren't built to keep 'not' watchful." At that she grows quiet and starts absently clutching the amulet dangling from her chest. "... Only reason I haven't faffed off by now meself is it wouldn't be right. Much as I still ****'n distrust some of ya still, it behooves me to at least see ye ****ers to this blindingstone or whatever. 'nd to the surface, if'n any of ya have a mind fer it... 'summin' of course the folk there now a ways. 'Cause unless that whole demon thing isn't a common thing down here? I ain't got much other reason to stay in this pit fer longer than that quite frankly. Not fer folk suicidal enough to stay despite all common sense."
Amara seems completely unbothered by Enkindle's cursing, finger jabbing, or name-calling, patiently waiting for Enkindle to finish her rant. "Darling, I'm pretty sure the only ones from "around here", are the drow and Ronnal. I would point out that Stool's assistance has been mutually beneficial to us all, so there's really no need for you to be suspicious about Stool is helping "wholly outta the kindness of its stubby little heart"-there's benefit for everyone there." She raises an eyebrow. "And I'm certainly not going to try and force you to join the link if you don't want to, regardless of the effect it may have on us all. I merely wish to make the point that perhaps the discomfort is worth the improved stealth and communication. But we'll of course endeavor to keep you included should you decide to keep away from it, dear." A faint frown appears on her face. "As for this situation with the demons...it's possible that was just a random party that went through. But I certainly know from what I've learned about the Underdark that demons are not especially common down here. I will be worried should we continue to encounter demons down here."
After the preparation is done, Ree'lyn sees the trashed small parts and figures that is also a bait for larger creatures down in the Underdark. "We need to dispose of these entrails and unused parts. Otherwise we will get critters among us. Also, in order to keep our tracks covered." - he warns them thinking into the communitarian link.
His own need for rest involves a trance state much like the warforged had just announced. That brought an uncomfortable smile to his face. Is he like an automaton? Or was it created to resemble somewhat like a living being?
The group is somewhat scattered around and each trying to band together in pairs or tending their own needs.
On sight of as many people as possible, but making it look like just a casual move, Ree'lyn's hands produce a vibration, soft and low, emitting short living sparks as he hovers the palm of his hands over his own body, hair, face and equipment, to dry it out and clean it up. Then he does the same to warm his body up.
Looking around, the Drow decides he is going to offer the same to whoever accepts it.
"Well, Could'a fooled me wit' how quick some of ya were to just accept'n as is, even wit' it all dis bein' extenuat'n circumstances." She grumbled after a moment of silently mulling over Amara's words. "Ya welcome to trust'em if ya want. But, I ain't dropping my guard jus' cause most of ya have a ****y sorta common sense." Enkindle glances over to Huey. "Or lack-there-of..." With a roll of her eyes, she goes back to polishing off her dried up biscuit.
"Either way, I'm... stay'n out of it still. 'nd you tell the little shit to keep his spores to himself as far as I'm concerned. If 'e... it... whatevers got some'n important to say, he's got plenty o'v ya other mouth breathers fer that." Enkindle finally looks at Amara, furrows her brow, then rolls her eyes in a huff. "Thanks fer understanding tho', I guess... But keep those other ****ers from try'n anything on that front. I... don't always... react... well... to being pushed." She whispers, though struggled to keep the heat from her tone at the end.
Enkindle starts to turn back to keep watch again, only to stop short and add, "''nd try not to worry too much, granny. So long as I'm 'round, and as Helm as my witness, they'll know better than to **** with us."
"At least we will not starve."Jezzika mentioned, finishing eating and cleaning up after herself. "Not to mention, if we keep up this pace, we should arrive at the Darklake in about 3 days. Not too bad. Hopefully we will be able to lose our pursuers. I doubt Ilvara will be as gentle with us as she was before if she catches up to us."
She sits down and gets comfortable next to the group, absentmindedly holding and occasionally looking at her teddy bear. "Not used to sleeping on stone, but it's a small price to pay if we're going to try and get out of here."
Amara smiles in response to Enkindle's words. "Darling, worrying is in my job description, although I'll naturally breathe easier knowing you're keeping an eye out." Her voice is gentle and sincere, devoid of any sarcasm. "And I'll of course make sure your wishes are respected." She pats Enkindle's shoulder before standing and moving to set up her things, using prestidigitation to warm and clean herself and offering the same to the others like Ree'lyn is. Amara then takes out her book and turns her back to the group while she opens it and does something for a few minutes.
Finishing the ritual Ronnal get his feel of octopus and hearing the fire woman get angry spoils his dinner. But he continues to watch and sees she has some control over her flames.
"Listen fire lady, I have been fighting for about 60 years now. I've learned a few thing while traveling this place the "Underdark". If you fight alone you'll die especially if you admit fire which is light. You need to keep your emotions in check and get used to fighting in a team."
Stopping for a moment Ronnal continues his thoughts on the situation.
"I hate the drow, I even hate some of Duergar practice of slavery as well but that how this place is... The gods have set our paths together and so we must join forces to over come this trial."
Ronnal denies any Prestidigitation that is offer to him. "Thank you but no..."
