After his unnerving dream, Step Step Thud spends his watch nervously dry washing his hands and repeating, in Jezzika’s voice, ”Something is wrong. Something is wrong.”
When the rocks fall as they travel, he lets out a shrill squak and hurles himself over and through the falling debris. On the other side, he catches his breath, pausing to spread his arms innocently when Svana mentions mouse eating before looking longingly at the familiar.
As he notices Duke pick up both Svana and Jezzika with no apparent effort, he walks up to try and hitch a ride, trying to climb up onto the automaton’s shoulder to perch.
Finally at a safe place to rest, the party scattered around again to prepare their bedrolls and trinkets, Ree'lyn approach DUKE with few and brief words: - "When you have the time, tell me in private if you experienced...visual interferences directly in your...mind. And don't get caught up by entities of any type." - he whispers to the warforged. Moving quickly away from the main bulk of the party, renewing the cleansing and warning up tricks, reminiscing the dreadful visions as he ponders what was made of the only visions he had had in his life which are of another place. And why are they gone now, as these others appear? The scouting, the cooking, the talk about the Underdark...it was all to avoid people from talking about what they first saw while breaking free from Velkynvelve. Demons they had said. He saw them, but wanted it not to be true. There was no point denying it, though. He had thought it to be an isolated case. Someone at the watchtower messed up...as expected when dealing with demons. But far from Velkynvelve he had this visions. Had it happened only to him? The girls were talking about their patrons. Quite naturally too. Should he? No.
The Drow wanted to make sure the automaton would not be convinced to start a relation with either gods or demons or any entity. They would play him and torment him if he did. His choices are his own as it is.
While his mind rushes into these thoughts and others the orange and purple colors made a line in the dark of his mind. Then they widened up. The smell of honey, the perfume of different flowers: small blue ones, white ones with large petals, pink ones with point tipped petals...many more...and many yellow roses around. But one singled out for it's size. It danced with the wind more than the others. It showed itself up more than the others. He smiled and started walking to its direction. A creature half goat half humanoid looked at him from distance. Trying to hide behind a tree. Ree'lyn pretended he didn't notice the creature. At a small pond fed by a stream, this beautiful diminutive bluish lady, watery lady, smiled at him. A redhaired woman, wearing a crystal vine tiara, with blue eyes and flower petals covering her body flew near him. He first thought she was distant from him, but right away noticed she was just two feet tall, at most. He had seen her kind before. 'you are wanted' she said. She seemed inviting and honest, not manipulative like some others of her kind.
Suddenly, he was back to the rocky walls of the Underdark.
He opened his notebook, flipped over pages and pages of sketches of plants, trees, animals, creatures, landscapes. " Time to draw." - he whispered. And he drew.
When the party arrived at the place to rest, Duke lowered itself and allowed Jezzika to safely disembark from its back. Then it gently lowers Svana to the ground and nudges her, to let her know that they've arrived and it's time for her to return to her physical form.

Following Jezzika the entire time, like the good protective lapdog he is, Huey marches behind Duke. Sucking his thumb nearly the entire trip to sooth his nerves, a growing bruise has appeared on his noggin, throbbing purple, green, and red. As soon as the group arrives at their day 2 campsite, Huey tiredly finds a spot along the wall of the cave, leans back, and closes his eyes (taking a short rest, and healing for 3 hit points)(forgot to add +2 to that). Upon waking, he's famished, and immediately seeks out food....of course, not remembering that he has rations in his pack. Dumb Huey.

When the party stops, Talike finds a suitable portion of the cave and lays out her bedroll. She spends about an hour and a half tending to her wounds and catching up on sleep. (Short rest hit dice: 5). After that, she keeps watch over the rest of the party.
Finally at the campsite Ronnal set his gear down and prepares his bed roll. Back at the rock slide he again denied any healing. Once he rest for a few moments before putting his palms over his broken nose and correcting it.
"Urgh ****in' nose! Damn, resetting it is the worst part. You know what, considering the rock almost burying us I think we did well."

Ronnal starts to clean his face and rest for a bit. As he rest he can't help but think he didn't contribute.

As they camp, Amara pulls out her map again, updating it in an elegant hand in Elvish so that the newly blocked passage is marked along with the possibility that it may be cleared. The others still can't tell where she's actually getting it from, as she only seems to bring a journal out of her bag, which certainly doesn't have any loose paper sticking out of it.

Svana’s glazed look slowly dissipates when lightly shaken, the wizard blinking her eyes to refocus her vision before saying, “Thank you, Duke.”
She snaps Chandra back onto her lap, the familiar sniffing and nudging her hands. “I’m alright, no need to worry.” She gives a soft smile down to her before addressing the group. “Well, so far, all I’ve been seeing is winding caverns, not a drow or monster in sight— Er, bad drow anyways.”

After her conversation with Jezzika and Talike, Ash is left quietly walking beside them. As they reach their camp, Ash glances around the group, a little dirty from the rockslide but otherwise uninjured. She moves to sit down quietly and retrieve her cards, sitting them in her lap and staring at them silently with slightly glazed over eyes, lost in thought. She does this for a while, seemingly thinking about a few things.
Jezzika listened to Ash as she spoke with interest, and smiled at Talike's question. "As far as I know, only Umbra has spoken to me. It's shown me things, taught me things, and has been like a mentor to me since my birth. Taught me how to manipulate shadow into a tool and a weapon, and shows me things. Like..visions. I'm fully in control of my senses and my body when I use my gifted powers, and Umbra is a tough teacher. When he speaks to me outside of instructional talk, he is harsh, vague, and hard on me. He knows I am curious about the outside, and the universe, and uses this to his advantage, but my curiosity outweighs any offense I take. What I do know about it is that is is older than this reality and comes from a place I have had difficulty explaining in words."
Jezzika noted the glow. "Why does your back do that?"she asked Ash, sitting down and resting.

Once everyone is good and extracted, but seeming at least ready to move on, Enkindle trudges along after everyone nursing the wound. When the rest at last, even if only for a short while, she pulls out what few bandages are on hand. The rest gets tossed to Talike, if it looked as if she needed them. "Ain't that sorta the case already?" She asks Talike. "I mean, the pointy eared bastards don't really sleep. Same for the metal head. Ain't say'n /I/ ain't taking a watch anyhow, but... eh... I'm gonna shut up now."
She quirks a brow at Huey later on, seeing him roaming about. With a sharp whistle to catch his attention, she tosses one of her travel biscuits at his mouth.

As Ash is sitting down, she notes Jezzika's question and thinks for a moment. "Ah... That... well... hmmm... I suppose it all depends.... Sometimes it is influence by my emotions, typically anger and being calm? Other times it's the voice being a dick... Actually most of the time it's the voice being a dick. It... sort of burns when it lights up like that? Much like how hot metal is bright red before a branding I suppose..." She trails off a little awkwardly in thought, unsure if that made sense. In all honesty, other than the burning, she didn't have a reason for it to light up.
(She then does the sitting down and stuff I put in the last post)
After a minute, her eyes refocus and she looks up at the group. "Do we intend on going any farther tonight? We should just set up camp here. It's relatively safe for now and it looks like some of you need a longer resting before we keep going."
“Well,” Svana starts, getting up from the ground and brushing herself off. “If we plan on staying here the night, then I’ll get to setting up the perimeter. Won’t be too long.” With that, she picks up her silver wire and small bell and gets to alarming the area.

Like a professional baseball player, Huey dexterously catches the tossed travel biscuit and noshes on it greedily. “Friend!” he pushes out between bites, spitting crumbs out all over himself.
