As the lava begins to surround them, Ash quickly takes Talikes hand and chuckles nervously. "Haha. Time to go! Run!" Her and Talike run side by side, trying their best to avoid the lava at all costs.

Duke makes it over thanks to the power of friendship. Even if the Warforged doesn't know what that is yet.

"Oh shit!" Jezzika squeaked, immediately feeling the heat. "Huey!" she shouted at him, "Piggyback!!" and she leapt on to his back. "Run!!" and he ran.

DEX DC10 save: 19

"Whoa!" she screamed. "Right! No! Your other right! Watch it! Watch it! Faster! HUEY, FASTER!"

When they made it to safety, she wiped the sweat from her brow and dismounted him, patting him in thankful gratitude and nervously looking back to the others to make sure everyone else could.

Ash pulls Talike along as quickly as possible and once they are safe, bends over and pants heavily. "Since when.... was there... LAVA!"  Ash keeps Talike close to her to avoid the hostile plants as she pants, firmly holding Talikes wrist. 

"Aww shite! Move yer ass, Granny!" Enkindle yells as she practically started shoving Amara on forward. And if there's any stumbling, the stubborn Genasi remains steadfast in pulling her elf-y compatriot on to safety, risking her own skin if necessary.

A little fire never bothered her anyways.

Adrenaline pumps as Phineas feels the heat getting turned up. "Best we get out of here, Amara," the gnome says with a smile as he extends his hand. "Never a dull moment around here!"

The druid attempts to hop, skip and jump his way from the danger, guiding the warlock as he goes.

"Watch your step," he says as stream erupts below them. The gnome nimbly darts through the lava streams, oddly seeming to enjoy himself.

"All right, come on!" Amara grabs Enkindle and dodges lava. "Phineas, help Ronnal!"

Once everyone is across and safe, Ash resteadies her breathing and frowns. 

Where was my warning for that?!?!?!

Keep moving. You are unsafe here mortal. 

Well no shit!

The sudden burning in Ash's back forced her to stand up fully and look around. "We can't stay here... Let's keep moving." 

"Declaration: Affirmative. Secondary Declaration: Based off of the information given prior, Darklake should be near."

Quinn bends over in exertion, breathing heavy. 

Never seen, Huff, lava before.

Step Step Thud quickly pats out a few burning tail feathers, screeching, “Hot! Hot!”

Once he regains his composure, he looks around at the fungi surrounding him and pulls out his club, muttering to himself in between low pitched eldritch sounds, “Dinner? Or violence?”

Talike tries to dodge out of the way of the lava without melting.   Dex save : 19

'Let's see if they remember what I said about violet fungi' - Ree'lyn ponders as he keeps his distance from the nearest of the hostile creatures. " Fire would be much appreciated. And distance. Do not engage them in close combat, unless really needed. Even so, do not stay in between two or more of them." - the Drow communicates to the whole party through their telepathic link. 

Amara glances at Ree'lyn and says aloud. "Everyone move through as quickly and quietly as possible. Don't get in between more than two, and don't engage. Prepare fire just in case, but don't attack unless you need to."

Declaration: Understood. Maintaining distance.

This place is littered with violet fungus, tentacles slowly waving about. It's a DC8 DEX check, not save, for each - to worm single file through them without getting in range and being struck. Success means you make it through to the other side.

Huey was grateful that Jezzika directed him to safety, as the minute the lava started spewing, he was frozen with flashbacks of getting caught in a house fire as a child. The tears immediately started flowing, as well as the orcish swearwords.

Upon teaching safer ground, Huey gently sets Jezzika down and hugs her for protecting him and getting him through the trauma. “Thank friend you!”

Nerves now on edge, Huey goes into predator mode and carefully senses the entire environment around himself, looking for further danger: Perception 22
