"We took some losses among our dwarven allies, but the ah...knights of the Hanging chicken, as we have been named, all stand unharmed. We drove back their forces. And I had received confirmation on something when one of the enemies had shouted to his allies in retreat."

Roscoe smiles at the sight of friendly faces. "Glad to see yous lot survived. We's are looking forward to a bit of bathing before get'n some rest. Yous need a rinse?"

"Oh it has been far too long since I have had a bath it feels like! I will gladly take it."

”so how was it flying those eagles Ms. Sierra? I bet it was terrifying, right?” Rosri ask. 

Zyman seeks out his arcanely- talented acquaintances, and starts to share notes and, if possible copies some spells and shares his own.

Roscoe offers a frown. "Yous will find it again eventually. Noble creatures often return to their companions."

Zyman gives Roscoe a pained smile: "I think she means to say that it fell in battle, Roscoe."

Edeleth changes the subject. "As I recall, your team entered the Feywild on your earlier adventures.  Did you happen to meet a Fey named Zathka?  If so, I believe he is around here somewhere...he was bringing news to the Jarl, and traveled with us.  It seems that the interplanar seals are broken, and anything can come through from other planes at will to menace Talaveroth."

"Ten guesses who's going to get tapped to clean up that mess," he adds sourly.

 "I do not believe we caught his name, but we did rescue an elven man that was also held prisoner by the gnolls. He helped us greatly."

Roscoe frowns again with disappointment. "A great tragedy to have a beautiful creature die in battle. They's will provide nourishment for many." Roscoe seems to handle the news very somberly. 

”Oh I’m sorry Lady Searirra. I didn’t mean to offend, and I’m sorry for your loss. If you are here to see the Jarl, it might be good for you to know that there has just been an attempt at his life, so if he seems distracted, that might be the cause.”
He looks at the others, not knowing how much he should share,  Edeleth was better then him on these matters. 

after a few moments pause he changes the subject again “As Roscoe said earlier, we’re on our way to the bath, would you like to join us?” When he realize what he just said to Saerirra his entier body goes crimson red! “Um... Tha... That..uu.. i i i i I mean you as a group, not you as in you.. I mean it not like I would llike to see you naked.. or of cours i do but umm..” he pulls up his hood, turn around and start walking.

Saerirra just blinks, standing stunned.

She clears her throat after a few moments.

"We had heard there was an attempt on his life. We had also received a summons from him. I had thought to make myself more presentable before seeing him. And after the day both he and the rest of us have had, I would say we have earned the reprieve. So I shall find myself a bath and meet you all here again."

Saerirra walks away to find a private bath to wash up and has her clothes washed in the mean time.

Roscoe looks to Rosri with a bit of confusion. "We's always bathe together in the tribe. Harder to sneak up on a group so we's just get in a circle and keep watch. Do yous do things different? Why yous acting so strange about cleaning with her? Yous scared her away and now she can be attacked easier in the river."

 "Yes, please do explain," say Edeleth, watching the blushing halfling with amusement.

"Oh, I'm sure she understands that you misspoke," says Edeleth. "At any rate, different cultures have different attitudes to group bathing  I don't know much about dragonborn society. There is always a possibility that she was more offended by being dis-invited to the bath than by your original blunder."

"But I doubt it," he adds.

“Oh no! You think so?” He looks back at Edeleth in anguish.
