Five days of free food, drink and shelter meant that Edeleth could put off looking for paying work for a little while and get on with his mission. Tomorrow he would start making inquiries in the city, But for tonight, he believed he deserved a break.
Sitting at a corner table of the tavern, where he can keep an eye on the room, Edeleth orders a meal and a glass of wine, and places his Dragonchess set on the table...just in case anybody feels like a game.
Eventually noticing the condition of the room (he has stayed in shabbier inns) he quietly starts casting 'Mending' on nearby objects.

Cade - Wants to check on the mother and daughter that had been affected by the issues with the tavern and help them if they need anything.
The mother and daughter seem fine, although still a bit shaken. It turns out they are related to the woman who was on the roof helping Laeivis and Uther. The mother says "We were just meeting up with my sister, having dinner while she was in town...she hates the pomp and luxury of her current office, so we usually meet at the Sleeping Goat...or should I say the Hanging Chicken...I still cant believe she climbed on the roof and stopped the building from crashing WHILE SHE'S PREGNANT! Shame on her...but I love her...no wonder she leads thousands of Alliance soldiers to their deaths everyday..."
The little half-elf girl starts raving about her aunt : "Aunt Thanika was a Mastandian standard bearer at the battle of Melassone, and she stabbed an Orc Chief through the head with her Banner to save the Prince, and now she's the Greatest General in the Alliance and...." Her mother interrupts her "Now now sweetie, remember we're not supposed to tell people about aunt Thanika's job because..."
"Because of National Security reasons, I know..."
"Anyways, thanks to you and your friends. It seems like there were a lot of heroic people in that tavern ready to help each other and work as a team. We will definitely come for the grand re-opening of the newly named Hanging Chicken!"
Peshley is happy to be able to rest for a bit. In between studying she talks to the innkeeper and offers her services with cleaning up around the place. Hoping to make a little money while she did so. The excitement of the Chicken run and the shock of hauling up a goliath inspired her to spend a little more time working on her physical attributes, not just her magic. If she was truly going to impress her father when she returned home she would need to be adept in many areas. So she also keeps an eye out for people who may be able to train her a little to help out more in a fight.

Once the chaos is done and after Uther checks that Laeivis is ok. He enters the tavern from the hole in the roof, as he glimpsed Saerirra. Unfortunately he misses her. He then settles for a few drinks and some food, accepting the free room as well, hoping that he gets to see the beautiful bard play again .

[OOC] Awesome start! And leveling like this - simply delighting! :)
Getting some rest was a great idea! Obviously, Laievis first treated wounded (3 healing spells plus medpack), paired above the whole in the floor (Mending on it), but a long rest was in order regardless. Elders might be right after all - the outside world is indeed a total chaos.
Without waiting for a help from tavern personnel, Laievis cleaned up the room he was given, left his backpack (reluctantly - looks like in this place it's better to keep your stuff at arms reach) there and went back to tavern owner to see if he can get that wine and something to eat. If so - he is joining Uther (with his permission).
Actually, Laievis was not sure about Uther's name - he heard it before accidentally, so he started with the formal introduction (after all, they almost died together).
- I believe, we have not being properly introduced. My name is Laievis. Laievis Elreth. Let me thank you for the help with that unfortunate building. Very reckless usage of magic, I must say.

A stool rights itself with a thud as a halfling with crimson curls climbs up the rungs and stands on the top. He gives a wide smile as he looks at the bar. He raises his hand and attempts to wave down someone so he can order a drink or two. "Hiya. Over here!" He waves with excitement. "That was quite ruckus! If ya needs any help fix'n things up, I can lend a hand. Oh, and if you has any of that wine that didn't spill, I''ll gladly take a glass or two."
The halfling looks to have come in from the wilds and his clothes don't seem like he's taken much concern in decorum. His sun touched skin looks a few shades darker mostly due to some dirt and dust it's picked up along the way.
"Sacred groves?," the halfling interrupts. "And gardens? Sounds neat. You has a favorite yous seen yet?"
Rosri can tell by Edeleth response to his move that he knows how to play. Rosri wasn’t very good at the game, he knew all the tactics but never knew how to respond to them. He had been schooled in the game by the master at his fathers estate. Rosri follow up on Edeleth move with a cautious move himself.
“Is it that obvious?” Rosri asked. “My father kicked me out saying I needed to find my courage.. My dream is to become the best rogue out there, but seeing im afraid of most everything that is probably impossible..I mean, look at those brave people today! They jumped in the face of danger with out a second thought! And what did I do? I hid in a cabinet!” He said sheepishly and looked down on the table.
Thankfull for the change in subject and so surprised by the crimson curled halfling that he almost falls of the stool he is sitting on, he turns to Edeleth expectant.
Uther turns to Laievis , still not very happy about missing the beautiful bard, " very reckless indeed. I am Uther B'or, no thanks needed ." He looks to the bartender " bar keep two flagons of your finest ale" as he pats Laievis on the back.
"Sometimes hiding in a cabinet is the only sensible response to life," said Edeleth.
A rogue? Edeleth already had one foot protectively on his pack, now he slid it a little nearer to his chair. So far, the thieves he had encountered had only bothered with his coins and the horses he rode. Now that he had neither, he supposed they might begin eying his gear. So long as he had his staff made from the branch of the sacred Naranda tree, his bag of tree cuttings, and the letter of introduction from his king, Edeleth's mission could proceed. Anyway, this particular rogue seemed to know how to play dragonchess well enough. Edeleth made another move.
The new halfling was loud and scruffy-looking, but Edeleth was happy to talk with anyone who had an interest in nature. "I'm afraid my journey so far has been a little too eventful to see as many as I would like. If you ever happen to be in the kingdom of Lomalos, you must visit our grove there. Are you a druid by chance? Or merely interested in horticulture?"
(OOC: Not sure whether Edeleth's kingdom will be a problem to fit into the DM's world of Talaveroth. Brief history: Three thousand years ago a defeated evil wizard fled and hid in a remote mountain valley, building a castle for defense for when his enemies came after him. When his enemies did not follow, the wizard started enslaving the residents of the valley into his army, meaning to go and take back his lost empire. A brave band of wood elves killed the wizard, set themselves up as royalty and nobility, took over the valley, purified and redecorated the castle, and have ruled Lomalos ever since. If that doesn't work in Talaveroth, we can change things up.)
