Peshley encourages her eagle to dive toward the enemy on the ground below. As she approaches she prepares and casts magic missile at the targets moving before her.
Mechanics
Move 80 ft (now 100ft from the ground) Magic Missile (2nd lvl spell slot) focusing on 2 targets, 2 darts at each * 1st target - Dart 1 5, Dart 2 2 * 2nd target - Dart 3 2, Dart 4 2
Peshley's magic missiles hit a group of Kobolds down below and swiftly take out two of them. The two who were dragging Shorgreg away...he now lays on the Battefield, still unconscious.
Cade and Uther still need to take their turn, before we can move on to the end of round6/beginning of round 7
Cade started the round at 180 feet. So this round, he can position himself to get a dive attack NEXT round (he can take a full action to move 150 feet, ending 30 feet off the ground, which means next round he will be in perfect position)
OOC: im back! sorry for the delay my daughter was sick so I was sleep/time deprived the last few days.
(Im assuming Uther and Peshley are less that 80 ft away from the enemies)
"haha nice one Pesh!" he yells in the wind as he slips another bolt and lets loose.
Attack: 4 Damage: 8
( I rolled normal but I have a couple of questions if I am shooting from above should I roll with advantage?
Also Saerrira inspired Uther, 1d8 for the next 10 action, when can I use that, and do I add it to the damage because I thought inspiration gives me the ability to reroll)
Uther's bolt hits a Kobolt square in the face, nailing him to a nearby tree, which is on fire...no need to spend Bardic inspiration, unless you want to try and hit one of the Dragonborns...including the Green one, who is walking up to Shorgreg, blade in hand, determined to finish off the old Dwarf once and for all...
Peshley moved her Eagle 80 feet down this round, while casting a spell. So Uther is currently 100 feet up in the air. His light crossbow has a range of 80-320feet, so he is still in long range. But he has the high ground, so the advantage and disadvantage cancel each other out. In other words, Uther rolls normally, as you just did. 👍OOC: if Uther had a Heavy Crossbow, then he would currently be in short range, and therefore would have advantage. Food for thought...
So, the Final question before I move on with the end of ROUND 6, and start round7: Does Uther want to take a gamble, and spend Saerrira's Bardic inspiration to try and hit the Green Dragonborn, and possibly save Shorgreg's life?
Okay, LAST thing before I move on. BlueBayou, I was reading through previous posts, and noticed that Laeivis rolled his Guiding Bolt attack twice. First roll was an 18, and the second one was a 13, which missed the Green Dragonborn. Originally you wanted to aim at the Leader, but since Saerrira had already taken him down, Laeivis just switched targets to the Green Assassin, and re-rolled (getting a lowly 13...). Your first roll is the one that counts, and it would hit the target...so you're welcome😉...and without further due...
ROUND 6 FINAL RECAP
1)The Dwarves hack at the enemy army, trying to repeal the wave of Kobolds that just popped out of nowhere.
2) Saerrira strikes down the Leader with her second guiding bolt , searing half of his body with divine energy. The Red Dragonborn Fang Leader falls to the ground, with half of his face sizzling
3)Panicked by the sudden fall of their leader, the Kobolds start immediately retreating. A raspy but powerful voice booms from the Tortle Archer, as he retreats with the Kobolds and fallen Leader, being swiftly dragged through a hole in the ground:
"Forces of Wrathmaw, our task is done, return with your brothers or be left to die at the hands of this riff raff."
The mysterious and sadistic Green Dragonborn Assassin walks up to the dying Shorgreg, slowly, enjoying himself...he kicks the Dwarf, making him roll over on his back, facing him... "Any lassssst words, old Geezer?" He licks his blade with a forked tongue, smiling...but then he looks up to the sky...his smile quickly turns into a look of sheer terror....
4) Still rocking the "Delta Triangle Combat formation", Laeivis, Peshley and Gorlahk are still diving towards the action, and finally get within range, while Qetzalcoatlus Cade dives even further down, ready to pounce, staring down a group of terrified Kobolds, already trying to run away from him. With Saerrira and Uther riding "shotgun" on Laeivis and Peshley's Eagles, the whole Party finally unleashes a barrage of spells and attacks down to the battlefield!
-Peshley blows up two retreating Kobolds with a volley of magic missiles, sending them reeling into the air like ragdolls
-Laeivis calls forth Meryn's Judgement upon the Green Dragonborn, searing him with a guiding bolt, the same way Saerrira did to the Leader. The Assassin is still standing, fuming. The skies part a little bit more, allowing twice the amount of sunlight on the Battlefield. The Kobolds down below look up, and start hissing and moaning, covering their eyes
-As the Assassin thinks he's safe, a bolt from Uther's crossbow lodges itself through his throat...he wabbles around for a second, and collapses on the ground, bleeding out...
-Gorlahk pulls out a giant banner of the 15th Squadron, and starts waving it in Quick elaborate patterns, as he flies right next to Uther. "Yeeeeehaw! That's what I'm talking about, Brother!"
5) Everyone hears the Commander's voice in their heads. "Great shot! All Eagles fall in, follow the Chicken Knights! Let's win this Battle and go home!"
A third Boulder "airstrike" takes out another 11 Dragonborns, and the Party is now effectively leading a squadron of 50 Eagles (+1 flying Pony/unicorn) with riders. One of the Riders pulls out a huge brass trumpet and sounds the Charge!
END OF ROUND 6!
ROUND 7!
1)The Dwarves down below take advantage of the Kobold retreat and start regaining ground on the Dragonborns, taking out another 9 of them.
((Okay back. Sorry for the delay. Last week of school is now over. Back reading at the moment. Will post shortly.))
Peshley encourages her eagle to dive toward the enemy on the ground below. As she approaches she prepares and casts magic missile at the targets moving before her.

Cade and Uther still need to take their turn, before we can move on to the end of round6/beginning of round 7
Cade decides to remain as the creature for now and decides to make a dive for the enemy...Moving his full movement.
Thanks for the update.
Cade Overhill/ Level 3 / Halfling / Bard - Talaveroth (sub-campaign 1)
Manneo "Bear Killer" Thuliaga / Level 1 / Goliath / Monk - Curse of Strahd
Cade started the round at 180 feet. So this round, he can position himself to get a dive attack NEXT round (he can take a full action to move 150 feet, ending 30 feet off the ground, which means next round he will be in perfect position)

OOC Welcome back !

Definitely !
Uther sees the Green Dragonborn advancing on the felled dwarf, he aims and lets loose invoking Saerrira's Bardic Inspiration
Attack: 14 Damage: 8 + 6
The +6 is to your attack, so the crossbow bolt hits the Green Dragonborn in the arm! He immediately pivots around, looking up at Uther...
(Yes I should have mentioned it
(Yes I should have mentioned it, but bardic inspiration is not for damage rolls, but any other kind of roll instead.)

ROUND 7!
1)The Dwarves down below take advantage of the Kobold retreat and start regaining ground on the Dragonborns, taking out another 9 of them.
2)Saerrira may go!
OOC: epic round....
(So the green assassin is down as well?)
(I know...)
(How far away from the remaining conscious enemies are my allies?)
Cade is 30 feet in altitude, while the rest are all at 100 feet.
And yes, the Green Dragonborn Assassin is down...
But Laievis can move another 60 ft down to bring himself and Saerirra close to the battlefield.

(But I believe my turn is before yours, at least, DM said my turn was next, but I have no problem with Laievis getting his turn first.)
No-no, your turn is first, but if you need us to be closer, then it can be arranged.

(Okay then)
"Get us closer so I can aid our ground troops!"
Saerirra holds a Cure Wounds lvl 1 on Shorgreg until Laievis gets us close enough. 8hp healed once that happens. And then she will inspire Peshley.
Yes, it is currently Saerrira's turn. Then the Baddies, and then the rest of the Party
