Edeleth hands the letter to Rosri, muttering, "It probably should not be shared with any Dwarf friends, and please never tell Gavin how they described the Hanging Chicken, and don't take offense yourself, please. 'Strange Companions' would probably have been a good name for our team, if we had not accepted Gavin's sponsorship. My family can be a bit..."

Elixisys nods at Rosri's question. "That depends a bit upon the spy. My job was to accompany trade missions between parts of the Alliance and see what I could find out about individual leaders plans and schemes. No one expects the hired guard to be able to use magic or really do much of anything." He says with a smile. He then stands up and walks over to read the note over Rosri's shoulder. "Well, certain things make so much more sense now. M'Lord." He gives a deep bow of deference to Edeleth. 

Edeleth looks pained.  "Please, don't."

Elixisys looks slightly confused but nods his head. "Very well. So shall we go house shopping? That seems to be first on our list." 

"First on my list is sleeping," says Edeleth. "I do not know about you, but the rest of us have had a very eventful day." He supposes it wouldn't be a very good idea to just stay here in the hot spring and meditate for the next four hours, but he is finding it hard to work up the energy to leave.

“wow Edeleth! An ambasador? That is amazing! And I bet you’d be a great one at that! But why can’t you just stay at Gavins? It is such a great and famous place. I bet your family doesn’t know of it’s transformation though.. and 5000gp, you’d do so much good with that.” 

he looks at Elixisys. “That is not so different from a spymasters in the noble houses I guess. Master Loker, uhm, my fathers spy master told me it is his job to look for potential dangers during audiences and keeping track of the other houses plans.”

"Yes, really it's quite the same, I've just done it for larger players. So if you're following in Master Loker's footsteps then you are well on your way to becoming a spymaster. And doing deeds like the four of you have been will get you noticed. If they noticed me for what I was doing, they'll surely notice you." 

To hide the blush he gets from the praise, Rosri goes under water and exhale as hard as he can. When he gets up again he say “Well, as Edeleth say, it had been a long day and we’d better get some sleep, and maybe some food. What do you say Roscoe? Are we done bathing?” 

As he says that, Rosri notices the Water move in unusual ways. A random bather in the distance tosses a few coins into the wishing well, and a living whirlpool emerges from the Spring water, engulphing him gently, and turning soapy and bubbly...the man smiles, as if the experience is something very pleasing...

Edeleth drags himself out of the soothing water and gets dressed. 

(OOC: Can we count this as a short rest?  Just in case, you know, we get mugged on the way back to the palace. :D )

Yes, you absolutely get a short rest, and a great Team Spa session with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Westwoods. The water is nice and warm, crystal clear and produces a thick cloud of vapor, gently pouring over the whole "Water park".

Elixisys follows suit. As he dresses he takes care not to use his bandaged hand much. He then walks to the window and throws Chernobog back into the sky.

"I like how you think, Rosri, but I do not think the family will let me shrug aside their wishes that casually," says Edeleth.  "Of course, if it turns out to be too expensive to establish and maintain a proper embassy on the provided budget, I will have a perfect excuse to fob them off with an Elvish garden and blow the 5000 gold on related expenses."

"By the way," he adds," as my consultants, advisors and bodyguards, you probably ought to consider whether there are any expensive items you need that can be written off from the official budget as a necessary operating expense, since sharing with my friends would probably not be considered a valid expenditure."

"Of course, I can always call it consulting fees..."

 OOC: XD I know, right?  Edeleth rejected his family's corruption and self-dealing, but it seems that situationally, he is willing to use all the skills they taught him.

Too tired to remain at the baths any longer, Edeleth eventually says that he's heading back to the Granit Palace.

(If nothing else happens)

He asks a servant to take him (and the others, if they come along) to the rooms that have been prepared for them, and settles down for his four hours of meditative trance.

In the morning, he will make inquiries to learn whether Gaston has been recalled to the city, so that when his companions awake, he will be able to let them know, and then will prepare his spells accordingly, (Sounds like Elixisys will have that covered)

If Gaston is back, Edeleth will then find whoever is in charge of diplomacy at the Granit Palace and present himself as the new ambassador from the Wood Elves. 

Roscoe seems more than willing to take some time and rest for the evening. He accompanies Edeleth to one of the rooms and makes himself comfortable making sure that he bunks with Rosri if given the option. 

Elixisys follows the others to the rooms. "Before we rest, I have the ability to send a message to your friend Gaston. We can ask him directly where he is and he can answer back just as quickly." 

"That would be wonderful," says Edeleth. "Would you please do that for us?"

"Not a problem. Just a minute." Elixisys casts sending. Elixisys asks the group to describe Gaston to him and once they do he sends the following message to him.
