Tomoe manages to run back to the city. Hours later, Kate and Lucia show up back at base.

(Fun Fact: There was a less than 1/100 chance for this whole thing to happen yet everything lined up and it happened.)

Tomoe had been in the hideout, crying, for what seemed like forever. When the door opened and Kate and Lucia entered, Tomoe almost when into hysterics. She flung herself into the arms of her girlfriend and sobbed into her.  I was so afraid. I thought I had lost you both. She continues to let her emotions out in the comfort of Luias embrace.

Kate just looks outside. She is visibly shaken by whatever that thing was. Lucia just holds Tomoe tight and continues to comfort, "Come on, Chief. Don't get soft now. We still have Rat Liver to deal with, remember?"

Tomoe's joyful tears come to en end. As she pulls away slightly, she wipes her tear streaked face and asks, How did you get away? Is Priya alive awell?

"Yeah. She's alive. She's shook as well but alive. The thing seems to rely on sight and sound. We hid in various places and waited for it to pass. At one point I was hiding in a cupboard and that thing saw me. Then it heard something and bolted in the opposite direction. That's when Kate and I escaped. Priya couldn't see the thing so we helped her out."

Tomoe hugs Lucia tightly, then breaks away to give Kate a hug as well. I had to do the same thing. I do not know how i lives after it stabbed me though. When i got out i tried to look for you both but i attracted the creature and had to run. I did not know if i would ever see you two again.

(Do you give out EXP for non combat/social encounters?)

(I do but this case is different since I haven't decided how much surviving the creature was worth. I will give the EXP for this a little later, after I decide.)

Kate looks to Tomoe and says, "Girl! You attracting the thing might've been the reason the three of us got out alive. And you're tough. You've survived stab wounds before so I guess you tanked it... sorta."

I blacked out almost immediately. When I woke up, I was deeper in the cave. But I'm glad it worked out. Tomoe has to work to keep from crying again. I hope we earned enough bounty to make the day worth it.

Kate checks her papers and does some quick calculations, "If we turn in all the monster parts we collected while killing the things (Don't worry, you or one of the NPCs collect automatically), we are looking at 2745 GP. If we split it among the three of us, that leaves each of us with 915 GP. Honestly would have liked more but it is what it is."

That is technecly a profit for me. I guess that will work. I need sleep and a bath and I am not sure which order to do them in.

Kate snickers and says, "Try both. Take a nap in the bathtub."

Not the worst idea i have heard. She leans into Lucia to whisper seductively  care to join me? we can wash each others hair.

Lucia says, "I have short hair but sure. Let's do that." Kate shakes her head and says, "I was kidding about that. If you're serious, I'm going to go take a bath first. You two can stay in the water all night and catch a cold. I'll be here asleep."

As Kate goes to take a bath first, Tomoe will strip down to her undergarments and lay down on her bed. With a heavy sigh she says to Lucia What a day. we almost died like three times. After fighting and surviving with her, What do you think of Priya ?

Lucia says, "I don't know. I feel like there's something about her we don't quite know. The fact that she was in good spirits even when almost dying to the queen slime feels weird. She's not insane because she was shook when we faced that final... thing. She did help us out a lot though she was more support than damage. What do you think about her?"

Tomoe motions for Lucia to join her on the bed, fatigue starting to creep up on her, and says, She is an odd one for sure.I have know wandering bards not too unlike her. I think we need more support. All Kate and i do is hit things. I say we so some more jobs with her to see if we really want her to join. 

Lucia sits down on the bed next to Tomoe, "So you think we should hire her for the next attack on Rat Liver? Speaking of which, who do we attack next? Shirai?"

Tomoe reaches up and grabs her and pulls her down next to herself on the bed. she cuddles up on Lucia and says That seems like the next logical step. I want to make sure we are all prepared though. If they are as guarded as Ruttman, we have a fight on our hands. Though i do not know what else in this city would scare me after tonight. 

Also everyone gets enough XP to get to Level 4.

Lucia lays down and says, "I don't think there's anything else here. I have some intel on Shirai. He can be found in a "training dojo" It's actually just a home base. He goes around mugging people and going, "Law of the Blade" or some bullshit."

Then Kate walks out of the bathroom in a towel and says, "Dude! Take a bath! You're covered in slime."

Tomoe sits up with Lucia and gets off the bed. She grabs her towel and starts head to the bath. Before she leaves the room she motions with her head for Lucia to follow. I think we are going after Shirai next. Then she leaves to go take a bath, hopefully with Lucia.
