She holds her head and feels a sense of comfort as her magic heals her. Then Tomoe heals the sound of Ingrid puking and a smell of blood as Kane thrusts his morning star into Ingrid's gut. Kate feels a breeze as the Kane's weapon misses her by a small bit. She retaliates and almost chops Kane's arm of. Tomoe hears the mage scream again as she is struck by Lucia, who seems to be having a hard time in the darkness. Kane's wounds also begin to heal as the Mage expends her final spell slot.

Just adding flavor text) and grabs Tomoe in one hand and Ingrid in the other. Tomoe struggles to breathe as she feels Kane's grip crushing her windpipe. Normally, she'd be able to keep conscious without air longer with all the blood that has spilled out of her body and with the liquid in her lungs, her vision goes blurry as her brain starts to shut down from lack of oxygen. She sees Ingrid go limp in Kane's choke hold moments before the torch goes out and she loses consciousness. Kane drops the unconscious knight and her squire on to the floor.

I haven't taken enough damage to be knocked out. With 2 fighting spirits that's only 19 effective damage to me.Kane missed me with that 12 to hit. Tomoes AC without armor is 14, with her shield like she has now us 16.

The mage causes a spectral hand to appear before Kate but it misses as Kate screams a battle cry and impales Kane. He felt that even in his rage but it takes much more to down a barbarian. Luckily, Kane isn't the only barbarian. Lucia moves to aid her girlfriend. Mage says, "Where do you think you're going?" She tries to stab Lucia but the monk is too fast for her. She pours a potion on Tomoe and life floods back into her body. Ingrid meanwhile starts to slip away from the mortal coil. Kane howls and grabs Kate's head in his grip he then slams her into the ground and smashes her chest with his oversized Morning Star. It's surprising Kate is still standing. Her whole chest is blackened and bloodied and contorted yet she still fights on.
