Chronero - Single Player DnD

You guys all freshen up and head to Kyle's place. Kate knocks on the door and Kyle opens up and hugs his girlfriend. "Glad you guys could make it. I have dinner prepared. All that's left is to set the table. Why don't you guys take a seat and I will bring in the plates."

As Tomoe enters, the smell of perfume hits her nose. It's the same smell she smelled when she crashed at Kyle's but it's stronger this time around. Kate says, "Why don't I help you out with the plates?" To which, Kyle responds, "Nah, it's all good. You've been through a lot and it's only 5 plates. I think I can handle it."

Looks like Kyle prepared a feast. A roasted turkey decorates the center of the table among all sorts of other dishes like fondu, soups, curry and salads.

Tomoe wispers to Lucia so none else can hear her. What do you suppose that perfume smell is? It's rather strong today, do you not agree?

Lucia whispers back, "I'm not sure. I mean I know for a fact that it is perfume but Kyle doesn't seem to be wearing it. Where do you think it's coming from and why?"

Soon Kyle has brought plates in front of all of you and placed a glass of Red Wine for each of you. "Red Wine Kyle?" Kate says with a smile, "That shit's expensive. You really didn't have to get it you know. You could've given us ale or juice or something." "Oh but it's for my girl. A guy can spend a bit for his girlfriend and her friends right?" He turns to all of you and says, "Well, dig in!" as he gets a seat.

Tomoe will decline the wine. I appreciate the gesture Kyle, but I never could stomach anything with alcohol. It is quite fragrant in here. Tomoe will also try to wait for Kyle to start eating. 

Kyle looks sad, "Oh... but I spent so much on it." Kate says, "Are you sure you don't want a little sip?"

Unless you would prefer I end the day by vomiting all this food you have prepared, then I regretfully have to pass. But please do not let that stop the rest of you from enjoying it. 

May I have a glass Onee-sama?

Tomoe looks to the others for a moment. Then answers You may have one. And if it does not agree with you, I will hear no complains tomorrow.

Ingrid agrees and will request a cup of the wine.

Kyle points to Ingrid's original glass and says, "Well, I originally gave her non-alcoholic grape juice so Tomoe, if you want you can swap drinks. You can give your wine to Ingrid and take Ingrid's grape juice."

Tomoe does this. 

Kyle slaps his own forehead lightly and says, "Ah, I'm an idiot. I forgot to bring in desert. Wait here, I'll be right back." He stands up and goes back to the kitchen to get desert. Lucia takes this opportunity to lean in close to Tomoe and whisper, "So? What do you think of all this Chief?"

Tomoe whispers back, I am having a hard time with trusting anyone anymore.

"So what do you want to do?"

I guess we play along for Kate for now. Until we can get real proof of certain peoples misdeeds, I have little choice but to trust. Just let me know if you find anything off.

"I don't know. This whole dinner party feels off to me. Like, Kyle made Kate cook breakfast yesterday but now we he suddenly decides to cook a big dinner? Don't you think that's a bit fishy or am I being paranoid?"

I agree, but what can we do? I do not want to upset Kate.

Lucia nods, "Alright. Let's just be cautious."

Kyle comes back with pudding and sits down. "Well, let's start then."

He begins eating. Kate joins in too.

Tomoe and Ingrid will join in. Tomie eats enough to be polite. Maybe a little more. Ingrid has no idea Tomoe and Lucia dont trust Kyle and eats her fill.

Lucia follows Tomoe's lead. During eating Kyle often takes drinks from his glass of wine. Kate also drinks the wine. I assume Ingrid does? What about Tomoe?

Tomoe sips at her grape juice, more or less pretending.

Lucia "Drinks" her wine slowly. She takes very small sips and then rubs her lips with a tissue each time she takes a sip. At the end of the dinner everyone's glasses are empty (I assume Tomoe managed to find some way to empty her glass without drinking it). 5 minutes go by where everyone makes small talk. Then, Ingrid and Kate start to feel a light pain in their stomachs. Kate says, "Ugh. I think I ate too much. My stomach hurts a bit."

Ingrid runs her stomach trying relieve the discomfort and ends up using 5 points of her lay on hands to cure any poison(but only if there is any because it only takes the HP if it works.)
