Kate says, "**** it! I don't care anymore." She turns in as well. Lucia stays quiet. She sits down and leans against a wall. She runs all the information the party has gathered through her head. After a few hours of this, while everyone is passed out, she heads off somewhere.
Tomoe wakes up 8 hours later, (Long Rest benefits gained) and sees Lucia gone.
I wounder if i should go look for her? I do no like any of us going out alone right now. Tomoe asks Kate and Ingrid if the want to go with her. Ingrid will go if Kate goes.

Kate says, "We have no idea where she went and why though. How will we-" Before the discussion can go further, the door slams open and Lucia returns. She looks excited but there are dark circles under her eyes. She hasn't slept in these 8 hours the others had spent resting.
She says, "I've got something! So I thought it was weird that Rat Liver would know about our base yet not attack us. That got me thinking about something. Kyle knew my name and what I looked like yet when we met Shirai, he didn't seem to know my name. It led me to wonder if there was some delay between the spies knowing something about us and then Boss Rat acting on it. So I went out to do some old fashioned detective work and math. I figured out that there is an information lag of sorts. For some reason, it takes more time for Boss Rat to act on information he gets. This isn't just for us though. Studying the cases of gang activity from guard records and comparing the times and doing quick math, it seems that the small street thugs used to act on intel much faster when they were disjointed compared to after joining Rat Liver. Not only that, Rat Liver takes a lot more time to make a move than Ao Oni or Bronzor. So we have a kind of lag with this gang but why? The most probable answer I could come up with was that, for whatever reason, it takes longer for intel to travel from the gang members to Boss Rat than it does with other gangs. Why? I spent the next few hours huddled up in various evidence rooms, reading cases of Rat Liver bases being found, suspected or raided by the Guard. Skipping over the boring stuff, I believe Boss Rat's base is actually out of town. Question was, how far is it away. Figuring out the average information lag and then doing some maths regarding speed and distance, I believe it's somewhere far. Maybe like a day or more but less than two. If that's the case, the delay makes sense. The reason we haven't been attacked is because the intel about our base hasn't reached Boss Rat yet. Assuming Kyle ratted on us almost immediately, the intel might have reached Boss Rat sometime last evening. Then he sent orders. These orders should reach the gang members at sometime between this evening, in like 2 hours from now, and late at really really late tonight (like 3 AM ish). Wish I could narrow down the numbers more but I can't without knowing for sure exactly where the base is."
Tomoe tightly embraces Lucia in a hug. That is amazing! So, given what you have figured out. We can expect them to attack us here tonight or tomorrow night. And they probably do not know Lilith is dead yet. And now we know about this delay and Boss Rat being out of town, how do we start to use this to our advantage ?

At last, some good news. Now, get some sleep. You have earned it, my love. Tomoe gently kisses Lucia on the forehead as she puts her girlfriend to bed to rest.
Kate, I think you and Ingrid should go visit the Apothecary about getting us some stronger potions.
Ingrid looks excited at the task and going on an errand with Kate. Yes, Onee-sama.
Tomoe hands them 4000 gold to spend.

I want the revival potion and 5 or 6 of the better healing potions. With the rest, buy what ever else you think we might need. Things like that ointment you used for the slimes.

Just in case you wanted to RP it, I'll just get the price deduction and item addition out of the way first.
Revival Potion for 3000 + 5 Greater Healing potions for 750 and you can only buy two more slime ointments as each costs 100. Your total is 3950 with 50 GP returning. Adding items.
Kate walks to the Plague Doctor's office in Diurnal. The bazaar is in full blast right now, people are haggling and the din of their voices fill your ears while the various smells of all kinds of goods fill your noses. Kate doesn't talk much to Ingrid during this time.
"Is that so? Home is wherever you make it so as long as you get to see your parents frequently, I don't think it matters where you are. So I take it your not from Edo then. Where are you from?"
I was born in a country neighboring Edo. Its more like this country. (Name it what ever you feel like) My family has a long standing treaty with Tomoa-Sama's that meant i had to be raised in her house as a sort of servant.
Kate and Ingrid arrive at the Plague doctor's place. They bought the more easily available potions from the bottom floor but had to see the plague doctor himself to get the revival potion. This plague doctor seems to be a Goliath. He is 7ft tall with wide shoulders and a toned body. The plague doctor's garb on someone if he's stature looks ominous and intimidating. Long dark leather cloaks, Black leather suits, boots and the sharp and pointy Plague Doctor's cane. He listens to Kate's request and gives her the Revival potion after getting paid. Once out, Kate asks, "Do they have Plague Doctors in your country or are potion brewers just called Alchemists there?"
