Basically what happened was both groups found their way out of the core but like if you treat the core as being a circular area, but are both at different parts of the normal slums. So does this mean the other group is looking at the normal slums to find Ingrid?
Both groups are going to try to find there way out of the outer slums since they have made it out of the core. Once they get back to the main city they can regroup at the hideout.

Ah okay clear. The outer slums being much much much easier to navigate, you both successfully regroup at the sewer hideout. It is night now. The excursion into the inner core could have gone a lot worse. At least no one's hurt.
When I said 1 fight I meant, only 1 fight but I will allow you to do both fights because it actually makes it easier for me to run. No take backs.
The owner comments, "Well you two arrived real late but I think I can get you both one fight each." DM: I'm going to assume that Kate is taking the challenge match and Tomoe is taking the regular match.
The gates open and the announcer announces, "We have a late entry tonight, ladies and gentlemen! The princess from Edo returns once again with her battle-hardened friend. They were lucky enough to get a last fight in and even luckier to avoid the champion's wrath. In the regular battle, we have a battle between two warriors from far away lands. It's Tomoe vs Bobby Goatman. Will the princess be able to keep her cool and stand up against the exotic beast's charges or will she be too stunned by her foe to react?
"In the challenge match, the arena will be the Punk Junkyard and you all know what that means! It's Brown Fox vs Trailblazer. The fox has shown a great resilience to damage however, will she able to stand up to Trailblazer's antics and deliver the final blow or will she get cooked alive by his fire?
"Place your bets!"
Tomoe:
As is always the case with Normal battles, the battle field is a circle with a 180ft radius with a white line painted down the middle. Tomoe starts 30ft from the center line and her opponent starts 30ft, meaning the combatants are 60ft from each other.
Tomoe had heard about a far away land named Faringwood where all it's inhabitants are said to look like sentient, humanoid-beast hybrids. However, she had never seen any such creature until today. Standing before her is a fighter who is definitely from Faringwood. He stands on two hoofed legs and has a muscle structure like a human. However, his entire body is covered with white fur and his face is definitely like that of a goat. The half goat, half man wields a large great sword. He lets out a war-cry that is like a fusion between a goat's call and a man's rage filled growl.
Tomoe's turn.
Kate:
Kate's Arena is much larger square with each side being 300ft. There are walls of debris everywhere. The walls form 15ft wide passages which lead to 30ft x 30ft open spaces. In both the hall ways and also the open spaces, there are large metal barrels filled with burning oil. Kate is started off at one such 30x30 pocket. There's a barrel next to her but she doesn't see her foe. There is only one path that goes east for 20ft and then goes north.
The first bolt flies wide but the second hits him square in the chest. He roars and rushes up. (RAGING NOW) He closes a good portion of the gap but still ends up being 30ft away from Tomoe (Action: Dash)
The crowd seems to be pretty split on the battle and therefore, doesn't intervene.
Tomoe's Turn
Meanwhile Kate follows the path and ends up in another open space. She sees a burning barrel here and another barrel. This one is made of thick glass and has a good portion of liquid in it. Even with that liquid, 85% of the barrel appears to be empty. The barrel is airtight. From this place there, is another path going 5ft to the west and then turns north again. A second path goes straight north for 20ft and then turns east.
Kate follows the north path and finds an open space (25ft wide, 45ft tall.). One corner of it has another one of those glass barrels. Metal shards and spikes litter the floor with only a narrow path free of them. The end of the room has a single pathway, still to the north. Standing at that side is a male wood elf wearing a leather armor vest. Apparently he's not wearing anything underneath the armor. He also has a pair of traveler's pants and boots. He has tattoos on his arm and long brown hair on his head. This must be trail blazer. Kate can't reach him (not enough movement even with dashing). He quickly turns tail and runs the opposite direction when he sees her.
Kate's turn (She can also dash from last turn). To avoid the spikes, Kate can either move carefully (half speed + No dash) or she can try to avoid them as she goes (Acrobatics check DC15 or take damage)
Tomoe:
Tomoe puts another bolt into Bobby and then the goatman charges. Tomoe narrowly avoids his horns.
Tomoe keeps up her momentum and stabs Goatman. Whoever she catches the retaliation swing on her ribs. She can hear some bones crack.
Tomoe's turn.
Kate takes 2 turns to carefully navigate to the other side. The path makes a turn toward the east and then splits. One goes north and the other south. As far as Kate can see. The north path seems to go for 10ft before turning east again. The south path goes 15ft and turns west.
Ingrid stays put

What are you going to do now?
Well, that was a great was of time. Is there time to head down to the Arena and take out some pent up frustrations for money ?

It's a bit late but you can still get 1 fight in.
Also if you want to go the arena, let me know which type of battle you want to join and who are joining.
Kate will probobly want to fight. If so she will do the trap one. And Tomoe will do the non trap one.
