Kate misses and creates a dent on the ground. Trailblazer is burnt by Kate's fiery aura. He makes a break for it after flailing about with his weapon.

Since he dashed and didn't disengage, can kate swing at him ?

No because he has mobile and he attacked so that works like disengage.

(right, i forgot you just have to attack not hit.)

If Kate has a way to get some HP back she will do that, though i'm sure she doesn't, and chase after him. Does Kate have any ranged weapons? Is there any debris she can grab to throw at him ?

For ranged weapons, Kate doesn't have any. However, she can throw her great sword as an improvised ranged weapon. If she wanted to pick up a debris from the collapsed wall before she chased.

I would hope she is smart enough not to throw her only weapon. IF she can pick up chunks of wall and stuff and stuff and chuck it at him, then she will do that. 

Okay. She didn't pick the chunks off the wall but these are the parts from the collapsed wall. Roll improvised ranged attack.

Kate tosses the rock but it misses and shatters against a wall. Trailblazer runs up and reaches a small pocket space (20x20). He stands behind a barrel. Kate can probably get within 10ft of him without dashing.

Kate's turn.

Kate grabs another chunk of wall to throw as she closes the gap and chucks it at his big dumb stupid face.

Does her rage damage still apply? that would add 2 more to that throw.

Kate can't grab the wall chunk. She grabbed one from the last room.

She picked it up before she left the room?

Trailblazer kicks a barrel over and singes Kate. As she puts the flames out he swoops in, delivers a brutal blow to Kate's face before running off again. Kate follows (Assuming that's what you do) Kate comes to another fork. One goes north and the other goes east.
