Enemy HP:

The second door also opens with a hiss, much like the first one. Beyond is a much larger room. Arches on the south lead to an alcove where barrels and crates are kept. On the north wall are vertical tubes that bathe the room in cold bluish magic light. Large statues of a bygone age are fixed to the wall, their metal frames jutting out into the room. On the west side of the room is a broken door, held perpetually open by some kind of jamming of the mechanism. The passage beyond turns sharply to the south, not illuminated by the magic light. The party's boots thud as they walk into the metal room. From behind the south statue, scuttles out a Drider, a centaur-like monstrosity that has a humanoid torso but the body is that of a large spider instead of a horse. These creatures gain this form after performing a ritual to Atzeria. This one was a human woman at some point. Her skin is sickly pale and eyes grey; a side-effect of the transformation ritual. The Drider holds a Light Brade Longsword in one hand and a Force Bow in another. She hisses when she sees the party, "Intruders!"

Lucia quickly runs up and delivers two punches at the Drider's human body. She tries to finish with an upper-cut but her opponent steps back before lunging and biting hard into Lucia's shoulder, causing the detective to scream. Then, having the blonde where she wants her, the drider plunges her sword into Lucia's flesh, stabbing her in the chest twice, before letting her go.

Tomoe and Mystery's turn (You may also take Kate's turn if you wish)

Tomoe advances, drawing her gun. She fires a couple shots as she advances on the Dryder.

(Looks like Tomoe can't make it into melee with the dryder so shooting it and moving as close as possible)

Mystery tries to take advantage of what damage has already been done by tolling a death noll for the Dryder

Though the second shot missed the first shot struck the Drider straight in the head, spewing a fountain of green blood from the bullet hole. Then Mystery's magic assault pulls the hole in the Drider's head even wider, causing even more pain and blood. Kate meanwhile gets focused and moves with her barb speed, her cold aura wraps around herself, Lucia and Tomoe, adding a small layer of protection. Then Kate decides to  go for accuracy rather than raw damage in fear of missing her mark. She swings horizontally, slashing the Drider's stomach and then she whips her double-bladed sword around and places a cut on the side of the Drider's side with the back edge, causing more of its green blood to fall. Ingrid moves in behind Kate and thrusts with her lance, poking another big hole in the Drider's chest.

Lucia notices the wounds in her body and realizes she won't be able to last another turn. She turns to Tomoe and says, "Chief! If I go down, don't panic! Use the healing potions on my person to bring me back up! Focus on taking down the Spider-Lady!" She then tries to punch the drider but without a weapon, the poor Brawler is at a clear disadvantage. For her troubles she got bit again, this time in the leg. Finally, a slash with the Light Brand Long sword slits Lucia's throat open. She grasps at her bleeding wound and gurgles her own blood, struggling to breathe before hitting the ground on her side and going unconscious [DEATH SAVES]

The Drider then turns to Kate and attempts to exploit the Barb's lack of armor and stab her right in the chest but she underestimated how beefy Kate can be. Kate straight up uppercuts the sword with her bare hand and knocks it away. It didn't even leave a scratch on her fist.

Tomoe and Mystery's turn.

Mystery moves to Lucia and casts Spare the Dying. Sealing her throat wound and saving her from knocking on deaths door. Thus let's Tomoe maintain battle focus as she doesn't need to worry about Lucia. She drops her gun as she closes the gap and ignites her sword.

She makes two glowing slashes with both hands at the Strider.

Attack: 17 Damage: 13

((Since Tomoe is attacking 2-handed, I'm going to assume that she doesn't have her shield equipped))

Mystery can't reach Lucia with her movement. Does she do something Else?

She will dash and use spare they dying as a bonus action with Quickened spell for 2 sorcery points.

Kate Reckless attack.

Tomoe moves in to slash the Drider with two hands. Her sword's radiant blade burns across the Drider's skin with a sizzle. Mystery meanwhile runs as fast as she can up to Lucia. Flipping the monk over on her back, she quickly casts her spell to close the wounds. Suddenly Lucia's chest begins to rise and fall again as she starts breathing normally. However she's still unconscious.

Kate looks at the Drider with hatred but she only makes a grunting noise before making a wide sweep, chopping off the Drider's forelegs. This causes the creature to fall forward and it gives Kate the perfect opportunity. She swings upward and cleanly chops the drider's head off. A fountain of green blood spurts out from the neck hole and douses Kate. She makes a disgusted groan before turning to Lucia to check if she's alright. Which she is.

Tomoe gently pats Mystery on the should in gratitude. She kneels down and feeds Lucia a greater healing potion.

As Lucia comes to, Kate uses the last of her fading Rage to grant her some extra defense (3 Temp HP).

Lucia slowly wakes up and says, "Sorry, Chief. That... was not my best moment..."

You are to fast for your own good my love. It is thanks to Mystery and her magic. She ensured your survival so the rest of is could finish what you started. Tomoe smiles warmly at Lucia I think we should take a short rest and regain our bearings. This place may be more on the dangerous side and we may need a plan for when come upon the next monster. 

Tomoe is suggesting we take a shirt rest to roll hit dice and recover sorcery/ki points.

Lucia looks to the open door in the room and says, "This is not a good place. Let's either go back to the first room for a rest or outside of the dungeon itself." Ingrid says, "Only one of us is injured though. Do we really need to rest? I'm sure we can keep going deeper while the cultists don't know we're here. If we go to rest, they'll surely find the Drider body and realize that we're here. I don't think it's a good idea, Onee-chan but I"ll listen to whatever you say." Kate looks around the room with barrels and says, "Might as well loot this room while we're here. Whether we move forward or go back to rest, no point in leaving this room without looting."

Let us loot the room while Lucia rests and Mystery tends to her wounds. If Emi-chan is correct and we run into cultists made aware, we will atleast have something and be fresh enough to retreat. Tomoe trys to find a middle ground between her advisors.

Kate shrugs, "Sounds like a plan to me." She eyes the weapons left by the Drider but doesn't seem it's something she herself would be particularly interested in. "All yours, Tomoe." She says before getting to work searching the room. Lucia groans and says, "I'll be fine Chief. If more things come, I can still fight them off." The way she says it, Tomoe feels something is off about her girlfriend. Lucia then sits down next to the large statue on the south while the others search. 

You just got your throat slit by a spider woman hybrid monster. Even with magic, healing from that is not easy. Rest. Tomoe picks up the sword the Drider used and, after whiping both red and green blood off of it, examines it to get a quick analysis of its quality.
