Mystery almost kills one of the recruits with her spell. Then Kate runs in, cold white mist flowing from her muscles, and hacks the recruit into two. Then she ducks behind a table to get some protection from the volley of crossbow bolts that are going to head her way soon.
Lucia decides to try and get to the Cultist. She runs up with her blinding fast speed. The Recruit1 tries to stop her but the blond detective is way too fast for him. She hops the counter and gets in the same line as the Cultist. She hopes that the high counter can act as decent enough cover for her to avoid the crossbow bolts. Ingrid breaks free from the Hold Person spell through sheer will.

Tomoe still haven't gotten quite used to the gun yet it seems. Her shots fly wide and put blackened bullet holes on the white walls. The recruits continue firing randomly at whoever they can. Their aim is shit but by the sheer amount of crossbow bolts flying through the air, they're bound to hit something right? Well they manage hit Ingrid, one bolt hitting her in her collar while the other hits her on the side of her torso. The remaining bolts break against Ingrid and Tomoe's armor and Kate's rock-hard abs. The Cultist sees Lucia uncomfortably close to him and so tries to stop her. He casts Hold Person again, trying to paralyze both Ingrid and Lucia. While Ingrid shakes off the effect, Lucia seizes up and can't move.
( So metagaming a little, I want mystery to Toll The Dead at recruit 8 who has 4 hp. Is she in range? How much danger would she be in if she had to move to be in range? And if the risk is minimal she will just go ahead and do it)

I don't actually mind metagaming. However on the topic of Casting Toll the Dead, it has a range of 60ft. I don't think you can get into range to cast that. Unless you Dash and then Quicken Spell but that's beside the point. It's kinda hard to determine ranges but I don't think you can get into range with 30ft movement. If you see a spot on the map which you think might be in range, let me know and I'll check it out closer.
Mystery devastates Recruit1 and then ducks under a table to get cover from the crossbow bolts that are flying all over the place. Kate meanwhile runs forward and jumps on top of a table, With a single cleave, she lops off the heads of both Recruit1 and Recruit3. Then she jumps down from the table and gets behind another one for cover. Lucia groans, trying to will herself to be free but she can't. Ingrid then raises her sword in the air and a wave of darkness erupts from her. It envelops a big portion of the recruits as well as Tomoe. The recruits start dropping dead. Only two of the recruits manage to survive, though one has gotten a twitch in her eye an blood pouring out of her nose, as if some important vessels in her brain popped. The other one doubles over in pain from her chest, as if suffering from a heart attack. Tomoe strangely, is completely untouched. Kate and Lucia and Mystery seem too busy to notice though.
That was strange. This was definitely the same move Ingrid used back in the other base that hurt everyone effected. Why was Tomoe spared this time? This is something she can ponder while it's her chance to attack.

Tomoe gets a sence that her girlfriend is struggling. She dashes up and hops over the counter to be between Lucia and the cultist (k4). She feels a surge of action seeing Lucia magicly bound and turns to shoot Cultust who is now in range and view.
She bolsters her fighting spirit and fires.

The counter becomes stained with blood. Lucia finally relaxes, able to move her body again. "Thanks, Chief. I owe you one." Kate praises, "Good job taking out the Cultists. Now it's clean up time." The remaining recruits all try to shoot down Ingrid, seeing her take out so many of them at once. All of the bolts break against the plates of Ingrid's armor. Though one lucky shot flies straight and slashes Ingrid's throat. It sends her reeling and unable to speak but it seems like she can still breathe but with some difficulty. It could have been much worse.
Mystery will Toll the Dead on the nearest recruit then make sure she is behind Kate and Tomoe.
