Kate steps forward and says, "Sure. I don't see why not. I'm a lot stronger since last time so let's give it a shot." Tomoe got a feeling that Kate said that partially to give her and her girlfriend more time together without third-wheeling since they had both been trough quite a bit in the Rat Liver Saga.

The guard says, then please go down that hall. He then turns to Tomoe and says, "Would any of you like to bet on our contestants?"

what are the odds for the contestants? 

The guard answered "Usually if your contestant wins, your money is doubled."

Can I bet on my friend? if the guard says yes, Tomoe bets 100g on Kate.

The guard says, "Yes. Betting window is over there." After placing a bet, Tomoe and gang minus Kate take a seat among the people. The crowd at this arena is much different from the one at the other one. Over here people seem to be generally cheerful like the crowds in festivals. In the illegal arena, the crowd was there to see people die.

After a bit, the first match begins. In the past, wrestling matches were help without clothes on. That does not happen anymore but the fighters do wear very little. A burly Goliath man wearing cloth wrappings between his legs faced off against Kate, who was also wearing nothing except for cloth wrappings that covered her intimate parts and her chest.

Kate glares at her Goliath opponent with a cold "rage". When the match begins  Kate stakes a battle stance and waits for her opponent to make the first move. The goliath charges her but then ducks to the side, trying to avoid the reach of her metal arm. The man moved around to behind her and attempted to choke Kate. The barbarian did not expect this maneuver but she reacted quickly. She moved back and hit the goliath on the nose with her head. She tried to keep up the offensive by tackling him. The goliath held his footing and instead grabbed her by the sides of her stomach, and then slammed her on to the ground on her back. The brute then tried to pin her by using the whole weight of his body. Kate realizing she can't win with raw strength decides to use her combat experience to her advantage. She uses the goliath's own momentum and weight against him as he came down on her by throwing him away. Kate and the goliath both get to their feet and stand. They charge each other and lock hands, trying to push the other down. Kate screams in pain as the goliath uses his overwhelming strength to twist her wrist. Instead of faltering like anyone else, the barbarian delivers a brutal head butt to her opponent's forehead. This allows her to push forward and free herself from the lock. She keeps up the offensive by grabbing one of his arms with both hers, throw him down into the dusty ground and pin him by sitting on his back, grabbing his hands with her robotic arm and his head with her normal arm. The referee counts down and then declares Kate the winner.

Tomoe gets 100 GP (I did not subtract the betted gold)

Tomoe would have cheered on Kate fiercely.  She is proud of her friend and Hope's this gives her a much needed confidence boost. When all the matches are over she meets back up with Kate and congratulates her before asking her to lead the way to the beat bars.

Kate smiles and says, "Looks like all the fighting and the arm upgrade finally paid off. Let's celebrate at a bar. First round's on me."

Kate takes the group to a Moderate quality bar called "The Golden Dune." It was not a posh or aristocratic bar but among the middle class bars, this one was slightly on the higher end. It was also popular among mercenaries. Today however, there is an uncharacteristically long line and a big crowd. Lucia gets curious and asks a man, "What's up? Why is there so many people here?" The man says, "Today Mercy Mercury is performing. We're all here to see her.

Tomoe looks to Kate and Lucia questioningly, she clearly has no idea whi this Mercy Mercury is.

Lucia explains, "Mercy Mercury is a pretty popular bard that performs in various higher end taverns and sometimes  in town squares. It looks like she has concert here tonight."

Oh, how fun. I have never been to a concert before. Tomoe looks delighted. 

Lucia says, "If she's performing then I'm pretty sure tickets are already sold out. However, don't worry Chief, I've been a cop long enough to know how to get some. Wait here." Lucia disappears into the crowd. After some time, she returns with tickets for everyone and hands one to each. 

Tomoe Is very excited. She is practically jumping with excitement as she takes Lucia by the hand and leads her group onto the concert.

The Golden Dune was designed in an interesting way as most of the bar was actually below ground level. The entrance led to wide metal bridge that went over the dance floor and across the whole room. On the other end was a set of stairs, descending which let you get to the dance floor proper. On stage, Tomoe saw the band of Mercy though not Mercy herself. It seems the concert hasn't started yet. The room was packed with fans and concert goer all cheering and chattering waiting for Mercy to come on stage.

Within the crowd, Tomoe didn't see anything out of the ordinary but Mystery saw what looked like a human woman with long red hair and wearing black studded leather armor. She strangely does not look armed. Looking around there were a few other shady looking people in the crowd armed with heavy crossbows.

Mystery would point them out to her mistress who would ask Lucia about them.

Lucia doesn't recognize them as being part of any organization. However when Mystery points them out to Tomoe, Tomoe recognizes the red haired woman as the same one that once tried to hire her to bomb a noble's house.
