Lucia sees Tomoe go down and she risks her own life to save her girlfriend. Unfortunately, the moment Tomoe starts getting up, She looks to see Shrike's blade come down on her. Before she knew it, she was on the floor once again. As darkness started to creep in on her vision, she heard Lucia scream and felt warm blood fall on her face. Lucia was hit.

Lucia quickly pours another potion on Tomoe. Shrike seems to really hate the Edo noble so he goes for an attack. Lucia uses her martial arts to deflect the blades while Tomoe stands. Priya goes in for another attack but she is unable to get trough his armor. Kate makes a well aimed strike but Shrike parries.

Tomoe's turn.

Tomoe stands and wipes the blood from her mouth. She grabs a potion and chuggs is 8 like a boss.

Shrike is stopped in his tracks by Tomoe as he tries to Escape. He retaliates with a swing but he oversteps and ends up getting pinned by Tomoe. He kicks her off him and stands again, just in time to dodge Kate's swing. Lucia is angry that her girlfriend got beaten up by this jerk. So now, she goes in for an attack. She manages to land a blow on the ronin's gut, winding him. Priya makes a well aimed strike but it is parried.

Tomoe's turn.

Tomoe is feeling the end is near. she manifests her fighting spirit and takes aim at Shrike.

9 Damage, Only half on Success. Prone on failure.

delivers a powerful slash to Shrike. The Ronin is on his last legs. The battle has been swinging but now it looks like Tomoe and friends are going to win. Priya tries to attack again but misses once again. Lucia makes another series of attacks but Shirai quickly sheathes his weapon and grabs her in a choke hold. Lucia feels her wind-pipe getting crushed and is unable to breathe. Shrike must quickly decide what to do. He says, "I'm sorry Shirai. I'm sorry." Then he shoots the Chandelier rope. The whole thing comes crashing down on top of Tomoe, Kate and Priya. Tomoe and Priya are crushed under it. Kate manages to avoid most of it but hot shards of metal cut her skin. Tomoe is still conscious but prone. Priya tries to get up, blood pouring from various cuts and bruises. Her arms shake and then she collapses back on to the ground. The chandelier was lit using candles and the floor was carpeted. The floor around where the chandelier crashed begins to go up in flames. (Everyone there will take 1d6 fire damage (DEX for half) for as long as they are there.

Tomoe's turn.

Kate, get Lucia out if his grasp and get out of here. 

Tomoe puts a potion into Priya. Let us go, this place is in fire now.
