Ingrid tries to go after Red Guard and dodges just in time to avoid the Bull's horns. She rushes him down but as she goes to attack, she has to move to the side to avoid the bull again. Red guard continues to run further and further (Disengage and run) The Bull turns around and stays close to Ingrid. The crowd is loving this impromptu bull-fight.
Red Guard continues running. He's now 120ft away from the wall of the arena. The Ingrid tries to attack but the Bull bellows once again and launches a flurry of horn attacks at her. She is forced to go on the defensive and doesn't get to attack. The crowd keeps cheering for the bull. As long as the crowd is happy, maybe they won't throw shit at her. Nope! There goes an acid vial flying towards Ingrid. The squire ducks and the vial smashes against the ground behind her.
Ingrid can't seem to get a good hit on Red Guard with the Bull on her back. This time she came really close to getting gored. The horns would have hit her if her Shield of Faith did not deflect the blow. The crowd sees Ingrid's attempts to chase Red Guard and some ******* wizard in the crowd decides to cast Grease on the floor in front of her. The area in front of her becomes greased. She can go around it but she will only be able to get to 10ft of Red Guard. Alternatively she can go through but will have to make a DEX save DC12 or fall prone. She must decide quickly.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(No because Tomoe is not in the crowd. She was holed up in her waiting room since she was going to fight. If she wasn't going to fight, she could assist from the crowd. )
This is stupid. I'm not having you die in a ******* XP 30 battle.
I'm using my DM powers to overrule this and say you survive. However, there is a cost: The next time Ingrid hits 0 HP, there's no saving her. She's dead dead. Think of it as like the movie Final Destination where a group of guys were supposed to die at one point but didn't and then they started dying in increasingly bizarre accidents. Ingrid was supposed to die here but didn't. So the next time she hits 0 HP, she's a goner.
Ingrid gets ready to throw the spear but then the Bull charges her. She drops the spear and screams in pain. The horn went into her belly and came out of her back, skewering her. She quickly felt the world going dark around her as gratuitous amounts of blood poured out of her body. She found herself floating in a void. She didn't have any of her positions with her. She looked down and saw her own corpse being carted out. Tomoe was grieving over her. She felt a strange rush of adrenaline and before she knew it, she was back at the arena, ready to throw her javelin. Did she just have a premonition or something? She manages to angle herself just right to not get impaled this time. The bull slams into her and she can feel her bones crack and pierce her lungs. Then the world goes dark again as she loses consciousness. However, this time, she didn't die. She was stabilized by the arena staff and carted out.
Once Tomoe came out after her fight, she found Ingrid lying on a bench. Her sister is covered in horrible wounds and unconscious. However, she's still breathing. The woman who runs the arena says, "She lost her fight and nearly died but she's stable now. She'll just have one hell of a headache when she wakes up."
Ingrid eventually wakes up, her head pounding. As her blurred vision comes into focus she sees Tomoe smiling down at her. Ingrid's head is resting softly on Tomoe's lap as the noble woman slowly strokes Ingrid's hair motherly.
Onee-sama? What happened? She reaches down to feel for the gore wound to find its not there. She then explains what happened, including the near death vision.
I almost lost you Emi-chan. I do not think i could live with myself if you had died this day. Tomoe fights back simultaneous tears of joy and sorrow.
Ingrid looks up and smiles. Just remember, that this is my choice. If i die serving you this way, it is not your fault. Promise me Onee-sama that you will not blame yourself.
Tomoe holds Ingrid to her. Her tears dampening the young blonds forehead. I promise Emi-chan. And i vow to do everything i can to prevent you from falling in the line of duty.
They stay like this long enough for Tomoe to recompose herself before they both get up and regroup with the others.

It costs 3000 GP
But that resurrection potion won't help in this case.
You know what, **** it.
Ingrid, make CHA saves Vs DC12. Make 5 of them. You lost the match but you will be healed if you succeed 3 of them. Forget the 0 HP thing.

Soon Kate's fight is finished as well and the three regroup. There are a few more fights scheduled for tonight and if Tomoe wants, she can re-join.
DM: Singled out Tomoe because she won her fight in one hit. Go for another one or cut your losses and go home?
Tomoe will fight again. She will try the other style were she doesn't have to deal with the audience.
