Darion would see Erro smirk, with his eyes still closed, thoroughly enjoying the philosophical riposte. His face contorts, softly, as he must be musing over what was said. After a few moments you think he may be opening his mouth to fire back, but instead he emits the snore of an exhausted man, and his belly rises and falls in the throes of slumber.

Ellis would have made sure that once camp is made and everyone was getting settled, going to sleep or taking watches, he would first cast Leomund's Tiny Hut so everyone would be in it. It's green on the outside to blend in with the jungle greenery, but transparent from the inside and dimly lit so they can still keep watch. Ellis had heard Darion and Erro, nodding back as he sighed. "Yeah, I really do miss my town so much. I've only gone to the city a couple of times for performing, but I've never had anything bad happen to me when I was there." he said back to them, smiling. He would have helped take first watch before he would go to sleep.
As you talk amongst yourselves you watch as Ellis sits and begins chanting rhythmically. After about ten minutes you feel a moment of pressure in your ear and the air around you is suddenly illuminated slightly. You look around you and can just make out a shimmering transparent dome that covers the area around you. You tentatively step out and see a large dark green camouflaged dome. You step back in and for the first time you feel a strange sense of security in the very dangerous jungle. After a bit of conversation you begin to settle in. One by one you each fall asleep in the dome and the night passes over relatively quietly. Once while Ellis is on watch he sees a small group of herbivores approach and pass by about 30 feet away from the dome, seemingly unaware of it or the group's existence. Rather than alert the group Ellis sits quietly observing the 8-10 nomadic beasts that pass by. The darkness makes it difficult to determine the true number but they like the night pass uneventfully.
Erro- You awaken a few minutes before the others, having been the first to fall asleep. You feel well rested but a bit sore when you prop yourself up. You rub your hand along your back and feel the slightly raised scars that you carefully touch. All appear to be closed and healing properly from what you can tell.
You all wake up to a comfortable climate still dimly illumined from the dome. You look out and see an empty jungle around you so Ellis drops the bubble. As soon as the spell ends the humidity climbs rapidly and you feel the heat from the day. You gather your things and eat the berries Elia presents to you in your normal morning ritual. Elia looks to the group and says, "If we continue to make good time, we should make it to the village today. Rawk or Darion, could you or Robyn fly up above the canopy and see if you can locate the lake? It should be visible now to the north."

Robyn sits on Darion's shoulder while they are having their short breakfast, looking interestedly at what Darion is doing. She flies of, and returns with a small rodent in her mouth, which she proceeds to eat. Noisily.
Darion looks at her "You know you can't actually eat don't you?" he asks his familiar. Robyn gives him a haughty stare and defiantly gulps down the last of the rodent.
Darion sighs "No, I mean you can eat but you don't need it. I'm not even sure you can digest it!"
Robyn lets out a loud burp and looks smug, though now is obviously fatter round the girth. Darion just looks at her for a moment, then waves his hand with a slight grin on his face. Robyn vanishes for a moment, little arcane sparks flickering in the spot where she was. The masticated remains of the rodent are, however, left behind and fall with a sickening gloop to the ground. Darion re-apparates Robyn.
"See?" he says "Now Elia needs you to go and check to see if we can see the lake!"
You all swear you hear Robyn gives a sniff, glares at Darion, then jumps down, swallows a piece of the rodent again before flying off.
"It'll just start to smell..." Darion calls after her

Rawk would leave her backpack and gear on the jungle floor, wanting not to have it snag on the branches and take off into the air. Once she breached the canopy she'd climb about 100ft above the canopy and look all around her.
Darion grins at Erro's question "No, she is an altogether different thing. To think you can tame such darker forces as those from Hell or the Abyss is, at the very best, foolish."
In his usual reticent way he wouldn't go into more detail unless Erro pushed.
Rawk- As you crest the canopy you end up looking directly into the sun. Your vision is partially blurry due to the tears in your eyes and you continue to climb higher into the air. You look around and see a vast green landscape of trees. Unware of exactly where to look you can't seem to find the lake and return to the group.
Robyn/Darion- Robyn punches through the canopy and flies up above jungle. Her keen eyes narrow in on a large lake far to the east. The southern edge of the lake is roughly 10 miles away. What you realize shortly after seeing the massive lake is that you were supposed to be heading north east towards the lake, but instead the lake appears due east. At some point your group has miscalculated and traveled too far north. The good news is that you were able to see this rather than continue on your current course.
(After Darion shares the news I will need a survival check from someone. Darion, you would get advantage on this survival check.)

Darion does his best to maintain course east but lacking in survival skills leads you on a direct course east through some rough terrain that slows your travel. As you approach the river and lake, the jungle shifts back towards dense foliage of ferns, vines and various flowering plants. The air is thick with the the sweet smell of the flowers and the putrid scent of decay. You traverse the root and vine laden jungle for the better part of 4 hours before stopping to take a break by a large fallen tree. The tree has long since been dead and is visibly rotten through in some places. Still it provides some cover. The air has become slightly less dense and a bit cooler. You feel as though you are nearing the lake. Though your current trek was burdensome you make it through without
Need one final perception check from Rawk & Robyn followed by a survival check from anyone. If Rawk or Robyn's perception is above 16 they can give a person advantage.
Ellis was very surprised to hear that they had ended up going the wrong way, but hopefully they can find their way now. "I'm sure that we're close, we just have to be after all. We can get there soon hopefully." he said, really wanting to get to their destination as soon as possible and hopefully encourage whoever would be leading the way.
(Ellis will give Bardic Inspiration to Rawk or Erro, whoever does the Survival check)

Rawk and Robyn fly up above the canopy while the rest of the group stays below. Elia takes a moment to look around the rotting tree for mushrooms or other useful fungi. Tahvo climbs up and looks around before returning and sits for a moment before standing and moving around more trying to contain his excitement.
Rawk & Robyn- You can clearly see the lake now, a massive shimmering expanse of water that almost appears like an ocean bay. You are roughly 2 miles from the edge and can just make out a small smoke plume to the southeast where the lake seems to curve. The area around the edge of the lake seems to open in places where patchy fields of tall grass or ferns, you can't tell from this far, stretch out towards the water. The sun sits in the middle of the sky and you can tell it is just past midday.
Rawk and Robyn return sharing their findings with the group. Tahvo excitedly rushes over and hops onto Rawk's back as she leads the way.
(@everyone-You have two routes that you could take: head to the lake and follow the shoreline or head through the jungle in the direction of the smoke. Which path do you choose?)
(We'd be exposed walking along the lake but would definitely find the village. The jungle is just as dangerous, if not more and we could still get lost. I think shoreline may be a bit better but I'm fine with either.)
((Darion would by now be in a foul mood, and not have the slightest idea what was the better option was, he would just agree with the majority decision, impatiently commenting 'lets get on with it then!' if the debate dragged on. He just want out of the jungle!))

Erro can’t decide if he should laugh or be disturbed at the scene with Robyn.
”Darion, I have been wondering. Does Robyn come from another plane? ...is she a little demon?” he says in a hushed tone.
