(Hey everyone I’m still here. I know Xtra had to travel for work this week but I think he got back yesterday or today. he’ll probably post something soon I know how much he loves his two campaigns. He mentions them frequently at work in passing. Also lol at Erro. I don’t know how you manage to have the best unintended comedic timing ever but keep it up. )
(Thanks Lillightnin. Apologies all. I expected to be able to post while I was away but the hotel wifi was incredibly slow and wouldn't cooperate with the website.)
The Dom-gar army surges forward cutting down the front line of broodlings as arrows rain overhead into the latter pockets of yuan-ti. Ellis conjures up a cloud of glittering arcane flecks that settle on 5 yuan-ti causing their skin to illuminate while he rushes towards the relative safety of the wall. Erro moves in to swing on the yuan-ti but it deftly dodges both attacks that would have fatally wounded it. The yuan-ti is unable to dodge the barrage of arrow and as it raises it's spear you see two arrows sink into its chest. The yuan-ti coughs up blood revealing a forked tongue but remains standing and moves in to strike. Three glowing arcane darts impact the yuan-ti in quick succession each causing spirts of blood to fly out of the yuan-ti's mouth before it falls to the ground dead. Erro looks back through the crowd to see a glimpse of Darion. Erro then moves forward towards Rawk and Tempest reaching the backside of two yuan-ti currently engaged with the pair. This momentary surge from the army is halted as the reinforcing yuan-ti emerge from the hedges and rush in to fill the lines. Rawk ducks under a snakehead yuan-ti's bite and thrusts her sword into its abdomen. The creature recoils lashing out wildly with its sword and cuts into Rawk's wing. The pain intensifies from the poison and causes her vision to flash as she swings her sword again but the yuan-ti parries it away. Bear Tempest roars and lashes out ferociously with his claws and scrapes a large gash along the snakelike tail of of the second yuan-ti before chomping down with his teeth on the leg of the snakehead yuan-ti. The snake tailed yuan-ti slashes at bear Tempest's hide and causes Tempest to drop back to his normal water gensai form.
Another flood of broodlings emerge from behind the hedge on the eastern flank and leap into the army front ripping a few soldiers to pieces. Blood drips from their jaws as they continue to clash with the soldiers. A loud THUMP THUMP is heard across the air and it takes you a moment before you realize the catapults have been completed and put into service. Rawk, Erro and Tempest would hear Kurrk shout from above, "They're attacking the gate!" before looking over to see the partially broken remains of the gate hanging on by a thread. The yuan-ti, who spread out to either side of the gate launch a volley of arrows over the wall and you hear the cries of soldiers and villagers as the arrows hit.

Darion hears the familiar snarl of Broodlings, as he scans around noticing how they have nicely bunched up as they hit the army. "Lets make it count..." he mutters under his breath. He throws a fireball out, roughly aiming the epicentre far enough south to not hit their own troops, but in the midst of the best concentration of the enemy he can see (if we are being exact squares, he would aim at the row below the right most rectangle, second from the end).
Fireball: 35
He will turn and yell at the archer group nearest him "Focus on the Broodlings, before they flank us!"
(I also forgot to say, that if Darion is hit by an attack he would cast Shield as a reaction)
Erro will continue on in the melee, hoping for a kinder fate against a new enemy. He slashes into the disrupted ranks, aiming for another foe who is affected by Ellis’ faerie fire (if possible).
Attack: 21 Damage: 4 Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Slayer: 2
If he can maneuver within 5ft of an ally Erro will use his interception fighting style to reduce incoming damage by 7
Finally, what can be seen at the gates? Are the YT breaking through? (you’re doing a great job at this crispy!)
Ellis is thankful that it did work but knew that he would need to keep it up. But he doesn't have many ways of fighting from afar that wouldn't requiring dropping that spell. But then he heard that the Yuan-ti are attacking the gate. Oh no! He ran over closer to the wall as he yells at a Yuan-ti by his friends up ahead and then calling out to them. "Go stop them!" Ellis had said, hoping that the army can hold off the Yuan-ti and broodlings over here.
Movement: 30 feet to the left toward the wall
Action: Vicious Mockery on one of the Yuan-ti in the red square between Erro and the Army Group
Bonus Action: Mantle of Inspiration on Erro, Rawk, Tempest and one of the healthier soldiers - 8 temp hp and can move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks
Erro hears Ellis’ voice cut through the din of battle like a clear bell as a feyish, brazen attitude overtakes him and he looks towards the gate. “Yeah, yeah, the gate! Don’t let it fall!” Charged with inspiration and adrenaline, Erro rushes towards the gate using his reaction and avoiding the opportunity attacks along the way.

Rawk ducks the snakehead attack and jams her sword into the throat of the hybrid creature. Rather than pulling out to swing again she slams her fist into the hilt pushing the sword further until it pierces through the back of the yuan-ti's neck. Blood sprays out from the wounds and the yuan-ti writhes in its final death throws opening the wound greater before slumping to the ground in a heap. Tempest shakes off the pain and hears Ellis call out encouragement then transforms back into a large cave bear that pounces on the serpentine tail of the yuan-ti that still glows from Ellis' spell. Bear Tempest pins the creature digging his claws deep into its flesh as Erro leaps in front behind the creature and buries his sword into the creature's back. He pulls out his sword and with a great swing lops off the human head in one clean blow. The yuan-ti's body falls to the ground as Erro and Ellis yell out orders. There's a momentary break as the last of the nearby enemies fall giving the trio a few seconds of peace as an explosion rings out from the southeast. Bear Tempest lowers his shoulder to Erro who swiftly leaps aboard and the three heroes take off towards the pack of yuan-ti just beyond the hedge. Rawk effortlessly flies over the hedge while bear Tempest barrels through it sending a spray of twigs flying. As soon as you emerge you catch two yuan-ti off-guard from behind as they release their arrows into the air well over your heads.
Darion's fireball erupts in the middle of the broodlings but all of them emerge from the cloud of smoke burnt, but alive. The wave of broodlings impact the eastern flank with a terrible savagery spurred on by their wounds. You see soldiers ripped apart by the claws and jaws of the creatures. The army group archers hear the combined orders of Ellis, Erro and Darion and hesitates before they all release arrows sporadically into the fray. Many of the arrows land in the grass and hedges just beyond the front while some impact their targets. You see a similar volley from behind the walls of Dom-Eko that lands beyond the clusters of yuan-ti who are partially shielded by the wall. Despite the localized success of the heroes the yuan-ti not only hold but begin to push the Dom-Gar army back.

Ellis watched as the others raced off, only to see all the Yuan-ti and broodlings pushing back against the army here. Damn it, if only he was an archer too and he can't risk getting too close in order to keep up the light on the Yuan-ti. "Focus, and don't falter!" He yelled to the archers and soldiers before looking to Darion. "Stop the broodlings!" Ellis told him as he then focused on a Yuan-ti, yelling at it and then healing a soldier.

Yuan-ti Army: 16 (sorry Xtra)
Rawk will fly over the the nearest yuan-ti and land behind in in a flanking position with Tempest and/ or Erro. (Not sure if we get adv or not for flanking, will roll twice just in case.) Then she'll attack twice with her sword.
From atop bear-Tempest, Erro will try to peer out over the battle to see if he can spot any Yuan-ti who appear to be in charge and giving commands. Perhaps there was even more disruption that they could cause.
Perception: 15
If that did not take an action, bear calvary-Erro will slash his sword at the surrounding Yuan-ti from atop his mount.
Attack: 22 Damage: 5
Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Slayer: 5
If reaction is available, he will try to intercept an incoming blow to Tempest, reducing the damage by: 8
(I usually allow flanking for advantage. I can't remember if that's how this campaign worked or not, but for this battle I'll allow it.)
Rawk lands behind the bow wielding yuan-ti and slashes at its back cutting through the leather armor and opening a large wound along the shoulder. She follows through as the creature turns to meet her gaze and lacerates its arm causing a trickle of blood down it. Erro, not used to swinging his sword from such a height swings too high and his blade harmlessly passes over the head of the yuan-ti. He twist and tries a thrust but the angle is still a bit off and the yuan-ti parries the blow away with its bow. Bear Tempest uses the distraction of Rawk and Erro's attacks to chomp down on the yuan-ti's free arm. You hear a sickening crunch as the teeth crack bone and Tempest follows through with a smack of his clawed paw that scratches 4 long tears in the yuan-ti's leg. The two yuan-ti load their bows and take aim at the large bear. The injured yuan-ti's arrow goes wide but the other arrow flies true. Just before the arrow can hit Erro slashes at the arrow with his sword and deflects it enough that it bounces off of Bear Tempest's side. You hear a pair of PINGs then THWOMP, CRUNCH, WHAM as the catapults release their boulders. The first slams into the reinforced tower portion of the gate doing a small bit of damage but not enough to crumble the structure. The second projectile lands wide and 20 feet short crushing two yuan-ti that are caught in its path before it rolls and impacts the wall.
Ellis and Darion shout out orders to the troops and they listen intently to the synchronized orders from the two heroes. They release their arrows in tandem with Darion who conjures a barrage of arcane darts that initially fly outward in all directions then spiral together as they lock onto their target then impact in quick succession. The archers volley hits their intended target and half of the broodings fall. The soldiers on the east flank rally and push forward slaying another two broodings and yuan-ti. You hear two loud thuds from the catapults barrage impacting the wall and aren't sure how the gate is fairing. Ellis calls out to a nearby yuan-ti and hurls an insult at him just as he swings his sword at a soldier. The soldier falls but Ellis calls out a word of encouragement and the soldier rises to the yuan-ti's dismay. The shamans take action and continue to heal the wounded preserving the lines as best they can and the yuan-ti are pushed back to the front hedge. The Dom-Eko archers adjust their aim and the arrows slam into the lower half of the collected yuan-ti by the gate. The yuan-ti try to retaliate with fury but the collective push from the Dom-Rutan armies is too much for them this round.

Darion sigs with relief when he sees the troops rally "Come on, let's send them to the Abyss!" he yells out. Darion isn't really paying any attention to the catapults, but focused on smashing through the Yuan-ti lines here. He will move south, closer to the end of the line, though careful to try and find somewhere to crouch behind. He will try and identify the most injured looking broodling he can, and launch a magic missile at them.

Kurrk nods and flies off in the direction of the Dom-Eko army as Rawk slashes open the belly of the already injured yuan-ti. It reaches out at its guts that spill from the two large lacerations from Rawk's blows. It spasms for a few seconds then goes still. Seeing the first enemy fall Erro shifts his focus to the second yuan-ti and swings down towards the archer who raises their bow in a defensive posture. Erro's blow is too strong and pushes the bow down and cuts into the yuan-ti's shoulder. Erro pulls back the sword slightly and thrust forward piercing through the leather armor and into the collar bone of the yuan-ti. It hisses out in pain while Erro tugs on bear Tempest's fur towards the catapults and hears him grunt. Bear Tempest turns and sprints off towards the catapult. The yuan-ti reflexively tries to thwack bear Tempest with his bow but Erro parries the blow away. Bear Tempest leaps over the first hedge causing Erro to nearly come flying off and barrels towards the southern hedge just beside the catapults.
(Rawk, you have your full movement to use at will since you killed the injured yuan-ti. You are not currently in melee with the second yuan-ti so you could also move south without taking an attack of opportunity. Let me know where you would move and I'll make note on the map. The eastern catapult is 95 feet away and the western catapult is 105 feet away.)
Ellis and Darion each release spells as they shout encouragement to the soldiers. Ellis singles out the same yuan-ti who once again strikes down a soldier but just as he falls Ellis' words conjure up a healing energy in the soldier and the yuan-ti appears to recoil slightly at this invincible soldier feeling pain in his mind. Darion moves south and catches a glimpse of two soldiers battling a charred broodling. He focuses and conjures a trio of arcane darts that soar through the air and impact with a crunch. The broodling hobbles another step forward then collapses to the ground. The two armies clash but neither is able to gain any ground. The archers in Dom-Eko adjust their aim and release a volley but it falls short by a few feet.
