Darion shakes off the fear, muttering annoyed to himself that he failed against the spell. He takes stock of the situation, looking round for his wand.
"We need to give the poison another go!" he calls to Daner, not caring if Slithotep overhears.
OOC: I don't think it is Darion's turn yet! I don't think Slithotep has gone this round?
((Sorry guys! Decided it was a good time to make an offer on a house and potentially sell ours, so I’ve been scant and will continue to be for the next little bit! Would someone mind to roll the boss’s attacks once again for me?))
Slithotep laughs at the notion of being poisoned. He allows Darion to see venom dripping down his fangs as he smiles at him. Slithotep then cuts into the crowd, hoping to scatter his foes. He makes a constriction, scimitar, and then bite attack against Gorvex the Firenewt.
With all of the fire being shot around, much of the fine linens and silks that draped the room have started to catch on fire, and the room begins to be lightly obscured with smoke.

Alas, poor Gorvax! All of those hit I think.... he will be dead!
On his turn, Darion yells out to the panicking prisoners (I'll roll a save for them, as they would get it to?) "We have to finish this! Everyone who can needs to attack!"
Prisoner save: 18
Darion will then pick up his wand as a free action, and cast Create Bonfire on Slithotep again.
Tempest will cast Heat Metal on Slithotep's scimitar making it glow red hot causing him to take: 6 damage.
He can choose to drop the sword or make a DC 12 Con save to maintain his grip. If he continues to hold the sword he has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.

OOC: If no one minds, shall I do the 'swarm of prisoners'; I'll take the skeletal swarm as an idea (without the resistances etc), and assume they are at half power as some will still be effected by fear.
Some of the prisoners rally and, seeing the room beginning to burn and Slithotep striking the Firenewt down without mercy, some of the start flinging random bits of furniture at Slithotep in panic, or using their manacles as weapons.

Daner looks down at the syringe and at his great axe. He trusted his great axe more, but one more blow from Slithotep and he would be dead. He had to decide if he trusted Fenthaza's greed and ambition more than he feared her betrayal. He knew it would come eventually, but he suspected that the syringe was exactly what she said it was, their only way to actually kill Slithotep.
With as much speed as he can muster, Darion once again charges at Slithotep. Throwing himself on the creature he attempts to wrestle with him and stab him with the syringe. Athletics: 9
Ellis could only watch as he is still terrified of Slithotep, thankful for Tempest having saved Daner. But he could see all the fire and smoke in the room, shaking. He can't do anything to help without risking being killed.

Slithotep laughs as he cuts down Gorvex and slithers overtop of him, hoping to claim a new victim. The brave Firenewt makes some sort of religious symbol with his fingers, and lets out one last belch of smoke and flame at Slithotep, not harming him but distracting him and obscuring his vision.
The metal of Slithotep’s scimitar turns red hot, his eyes snap to it in surprise. 11 CON save. If he fails the old yuan-ti drops the scimitar in frustration.
The obscuring fire belch from Gorvex gives Daner a good opening. Slithotep is distracted and reacts late to Daner’s lunge, giving him disadvantage in an Athletics contest: 7. If fail, Daner sinks the syringe into Slithotep’s underbelly. If success, he throws Daner to the side once again with a whip of his tail.
Slithotep is singed by Darion’s bonfire.
(will see results of poisoning to see if the swarm of prisoners can land their attack)
With a sweat, Slithotep barely wrests they swarm of prisoners off of him, batting people away with his tail or enduring their attacks with his hard scales.
After being pricked, Slithotep speaks down to Daner, “All of that for what? Is this some sort of pathetic dagger? Do you know nothing of our great kind!? I AM venom incarnate!” He opens his mouth wide as he prepares to strike you with his fangs, but as he does so, he coughs. Suddenly he begins convulsing and coughing wildly.
”Xopal? NOOOO!” He attempts to slither towards the far side of the room, but he is grappled by Daner. Slithotep flings his tail to make a constriction attack against Darion, and he feebly bites at Daner. Both attacks have disadvantage.
OOC: Huzzah! Luck stays with Darion! @JustBrad987 - good to see that you are combining moving house and new baby - aim for a new job as well for fun :D
Darion ducks past Slithotep's attempt to grab him "Good hit Daner!" he yells. Though he is worried about the fires beginning to burn, Darion focuses on trying to end the fight, casting Create Bonfire again
Damage: 2
The prisoners, seeing Slithotep weaken take heart and start to pound at him with whatever comes to hand.
((Sorry guys, this week is utter madness. Frantically trying to get this house sold and then we will be frantically moving into the next. And foofaspoon, funny you mention it, I actually applied for a new job a couple of weeks ago and waiting to hear back. They say change is easiest done all at once, lol))
(Good point!) Slithotep makes CON save w/ disadvantage to maintain fear, as he is poisoned and pelted with debris from the prisoners: 23
Ellis was surprised as Daner injected the syringe into Slithotep, getting him this time and seeing the serpent cough and convulse. It worked, Fenthaza hadn't lied about the poison in that syringe after all. But even with seeing that they may just succeed, he couldn't bring himself to do anything but stay there as he still was afraid of Slithotep.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Daner only has 3 choices currently, try and run [where? He doesn't know how to use the transporter], maintain the grapple, or fight. SO here we go...))
Daner watches as Slithotep reacts to the poison. I thought that was supposed to kill him? Has she betrayed us already? Now that Slithotep was poisoned Daner really did not like being this close to the creature. As quick as he can Daner release Slithotep, grabs up his greataxe and swings at him, hoping to wound him further. Greataxe - Attack: 10 Damage: 7
((Bump))
