Nemeia smiles at the guest and even more at the fact that Moira had made the acquaintance of this young woman in such a short amount of time. "Hello Tirtyani. My name is Nemeia and this here is Witt. I hope that Moira hasn't caused too much of a stir. I apologize for whatever may have happened."

Lynn is at a loss, turning to Kal to find a potential source of positive news. "The Queen won't take any visitors tonight. Seems like something happened, unfortunate timing. Any news from our new friends?" She sighs. The evening was not progressing as she had hoped at all. But, she was not ready to give up yet.
"I'm going to mingle with the other guests, I suppose. Perhaps there are some close relatives here that I can snoop out who might be able to tell me something more."
With that, she looks around to see if she can find any wealthier-looking guests that she might introduce herself to.
Kal drifts through the gala at Lynn's side, his mood hasn't seemed to dampen from the lack of response from the queen. If anything he seems a little emboldened. However, he has resumed normal communication for as long as the group is within range of his abilities. Specifically he informs Witt that the others have slipped out of the party but he and Lynn are still floating about the party.
Stepping close to Lynn, "They have progressed on their agenda in the castle. I do not know where there are now but I will keep you updated." He moves back to his normal guard distance after she starts to approach other attendees.
Kal catches Konor's eye as he walks and gives the esteemed guard a very slight nod of acknowledgment. He lets his gaze slip passed to the queen but only lingers for a moment.
Tirtyani smiled graciously to both Witt and Moira,"Hey there, glad you guys turned out to be her friend and I didn't embarrass myself in front of yet another stuffy merchant. And please don't worry, Moira's done nothing to offend us. On the contrary she offered her help. Which I'm hopping extends to you and your friends."
Lynn - you would have no problem finding a surplus of wealthy guests to introduce yourself to. From pure merchants to speculative royalty, there's no shortage of options at this gala.
Receiving the last message from Kal Moira responds back "I'm afraid I did something foolish and am leaving now. Please find out where Linthe is staying in the city and let me know somehow."
Nemeia is filled with a bit of relief as she had no idea how she could repay any sort of repercussions that had been afforded to those in this level of wealth. "I would love to assist you with what you two had discussed so long as it doesn't also lead to me be escorted out of the gala."Nemeia attempts to hold back a slight laugh as he tail relaxes into its usual floating rhythm. "What is it that you need?,"she says in a voice more in line with those she's heard use at the gala.
Lynn-Marie puts on her best smile as she sets her eyes on a particularly extravagantly-dressed woman, one she can only hope to be a royal connected to the Queen by blood. "Ah, goodness, but you are dressed absolutely wonderfully! Excuse my boldness, I am new in town, Lynn-Marie Verine-Wintercleaver, a merchant from the Gold Coast. Perhaps we might speak?"
Well, if Moira offered to help, we'll do our best, says Witt. What kind of help are you looking for? I wouldn't mind at all if it involves getting thrown out of the gala,he adds.
Nemeia offers a slight laugh in response to Witt's acceptance of getting through out. These functions weren't for everyone but it did have the perks of offering delicious food and drink. The social expectations were a bit daunting, but she's already been told that people don't expect much of her.
Sora will look around at the floor and whisper to the others with her, "What do you guys think? Search this floor or go upstairs some more?" While waiting for a response she looks around the hallways carefully while staying out of sight, looking out for other guards.
While the infiltration group continued their mission, back at the gala Lynn was faced with a rotund but extremely well dressed woman who carried herself with the sort of poise you'd expect from a Royal.
The woman in question, who Lynn noticed was a very tall dwarf, looked the human up and down briefly, just quickly enough to avoid being rude."Lady Wintercleaver was it? Lovely to make your acquaintance. I am Vicereine Evelynn Gretta Blacksteele, though I prefer being called simply Lady Eve. Less of a mouthful for those not blessed with a stout drwarven tongue."She spoke common with a perfect tone and refined tongue that you wouldn't not normally expect from a dwarf. If you only heard her voice you might even mistake her for an elf."So you're a merchant from the Gold Coast? I imagine there must be plenty of competition down there. Which is precisely what brings you here, I suspect. But don't worry, I like boldness in my business partners. Well I suppose I shouldn't get ahead of myself. By all means Lady Verine-Wintercleaver, what is it you wish to discuss?"
Meanwhile Nemeia and Witt continued their conversation with Tirtyani, who seemed equally amused by Witt's comments,"I can see the allure but not, hopefully it's nothing like that. Though honestly I can't say, I was hoping you had some plan yourselves. Moira mentioned that you were looking to help Enalie, prove her innocence. At least we all certainly hope so."
Nemeia nods with understanding hearing Tirtyani detail what she knew already. "It is almost always easier to prove someone did something compared to proving someone didn't do something. We need to find any information on the cause of the late Queen's death and who was around her at the time. I'm not familiar with the politics of this court so I unfortunately don't know who would wish ill of the late Queen. Did she have any rivals brazen enough to do something like this?"Nemeia's mind paces with the many things she should ask this kind stranger but doesn't want to overburden her for any help that she may be able to provide.
"Queen Illia? No, I don't think so. I mean she was the Queen, and there's never a shortage of people who want that kind of power. Even for a smaller kingdom like ours. But it wasn't like there was any particular enemies I can think of who would go this far. If anything that Count that you're working for is as much as suspect as anyone I can think of. It's no secret he wants the power of the throne. But I don't think he had anything to do with the Queen's death, he's just super creepy trying to take advantage of the situation."
After waiting for a while Moira makes her way back to the Sturdy Unicorn and looks for Gus. "Gus you seem like someone who might know the coming and goings of important people. Have you heard of the foreign elven lady of the Glyphwood?"
Nemeia nods as she tries to think. "Who would gain from Enalia being queen? They must have assumed she'd be easier pressure. I wonder if the late queen rejected someone's offer and that person thought it would be easier to convince her daughter. Surely there's countless things the late queen would have been opposed to though. If only I could talk to Enalie and hear what troubles her. I'm sure they've been after her ever since the crown was placed."
She pauses a moment and says, "Unfortunately, creepy isn't a crime in and of iteself."She offers a slight laugh. "What's your role in all this circus? Do you have any insights in where we should start looking?"

Soranods in agreement with 9 and moves up the stairs alongside her. Once they reach the next floor Sora looks around again, trying to make sure there aren't any guards here either.
Do you know of anyone else who is investigating this crime? Investigating it seriously, I mean? Witt thinks for a moment. Of course, the Count really wants us to find evidence against Mr. Konor. If the assassin does truly intend to exert control over Ms. Elanie... sorry, Her Majesty I suppose... well, then they would also want the Queen's protector out of the way. Unless of course the Count and the assassin are the same person. Witt looks curiously at the newcomer. Is there anyone who was... expectedly kind and protective of Ms. Elanie just after the tragedy? Much more than they had been previously, I mean.
