Nemeia and Cali continue their assault on the art. With every release of her crossbow, she can't help but to smile at the situation the group has found themselves in again.

The group continues their collective assault against the walking plate armors, both constructs appear very close to being completely ruined. Despite this, they manage to persist the collective attacks, as their sturdy metal plates manage to deflect most of the attacks, leaving them dented and scuffed, but still moving.
One of the armors continues attacking Sora with its heavy metal fists but the other turns to face Khorzik, trying to put an end to his constant electrical attacks.
As Sora's swings land with powerful blows to each of the animated armors, they finally succumb to their battered forms and crumple to the ground. The various ruined and dented metal plates scatter across the floor as the magic that moved them can no longer remained contained and disperses. Just like that, the large dining hall is filled with silence once again, with nothing other then the group members moving throughout the entire room.
Woo-hoo! shouts Witt, glad that Sora is okay. He runs up to her. That was amazing. I... are you okay? He starts to check over her, not actually touching of course but inspecting her wounds and any cuts or slashes on her armour, darting around her like a happy puppy. I was so scared you'd be hurt really bad. It was amazing though, you're such a great fighter. He stops abruptly and looks straight at her. Would you like me to heal you now?
"I'm starting to believe this is a building only filled with constructs. But at least that seems like something we are able to readily handle."Kal says as he flex's his hand as if working out a kink. Small arcs of lightening web between his fingers before fully dissipating.

Khorzik straightens an arranges his various pouches and vials after the fight ends. "I expect you are correct. However, I believe some unintended information will reveal itself after a thorough and unimpeded search of the premises. The previous occupant could not have concealed all evidence of wrongdoing.
Khorzik resumes his pattern of methodically going room-to-room, scanning with detect magic and searching.
Past the double doors of the large dining hall an even bigger room looms before the group. A massive library and study with walls filled to the brim with books of all sorts. Two stories worth of literary treasures with spiral stair cases providing a path up to the books upstairs, containing its own balconies that provide a full view of the large and impressive room. What's most interesting and telling about this room in particular is that unlike all other rooms it is still in prime condition, clearly maintained and kept in order, no broken furniture or mess of any kind.
Indeed the only thing remotely messy is the large stacks of papers laid across the large wooden desk on the far end of the room. This was clearly being used as the central office to whatever work was being done in this house.
( I'll be adding more information on what you can find here once people have a chance to respond. )
As Nemeia enters the library, a rush of shock overwhelms her. She'd dreamed of having a library of this size of her own. It was simply magnificent. She did her best to not just rush off and start looking through the large collection. There had to be so much knowledge within these walls. She could spend years here in this room and not have enough time to appreciate all of its treasures.
Sora grinned when she felt the armors scatter from her attacks, happy to have defeated the tough enemies, and more importantly having protected her friends. "Don't worry, Witt, I'm fine for now, save your heals for when we really need it." As the group moved on Sora was eager to explore the next room, moving past the double doors and witnessing the huge library on the other side. She was not hiding her awe and amazement one bit.
"I think this is the room that proves you right, Khorz." She grinned at the hobgoblin. She decided to move directly to the desk on the opposite side first, searching it with the others in the hopes of finding the information they needed.
Sora will assist anyone investigating the room, and the desk in particular
Witt is not going to investigate the stack of papers, and will leave that to other more skilled fellows. He will, however, scan the bookshelves, trying to get a sense of what the interests of this library's owner might be. Hmmm, this is an... interesting choice.
Khorzik looks around at the group. "Good luck in your endeavors. Ah, I almost forgot. Master Witt, I do not yet have the money to repay you."
He begins removing his scale mail and places it on the ground at Witt's feet. "This should cover it." Khorzik then walks off into the sunset.
(OOC: It seems the DM and I have differences of opinion about a few things and this has caused me to be removed. I wish you all good luck - kill the princess, save the dragon, loot the kingdom, and save the treasure!)
Oh,says Witt sadly. Um... bye! Good luck to you too. He slowly picks up the armour, and not knowing quite what to do with it, finds a step or small chair in the library and sits down, holding it in his hands and looking sad for a few minutes. Then he finally speaks: I think... I don't know. He stands. We need to finish this job, and get out of this house. Out of this city maybe, when we've found the assassin's employer. I... don't think this place is good luck for us. He starts inspecting the possible exits to the room, further on into this housetrap.
Nemeia offers a slight shrug. The city had its troubles, but there were so many more opportunities here for furthering her craft. She had much to learn and this place seemed to be able to offer plenty. "Let's finish this job and see where we end up. Who knows, we could be on the other side of the world in a months time!" She laughs as she begins to investigate the desk for clues as to what's going on. "It would make things easier if we could find anything tying her to the assassination attempts. We still need to find her to before she's able to get out of the city."
9 carefully walks around the library and inspects the walls, the floor and the ceiling in saearch of anything hidden in them. “I suppose the Queen would monitor the main gate. She might have a secret passage though. In fact, if she has one it is probably either here or in Hakon’s house. Or she has some connections in the criminal world of this city, if there is one.”
Nemeia thinks for a moment. "I bet you're right. She seems like the type of person that would have all sorts of hidden passages."Nemeia can't help but to be somewhat impressed with what she's been able to accomplish with her influence. "Does anyone else find it odd that this room in undisturbed like the others? It makes sense to not have fire traps in a room with so many books. There has to be some clue in here that can help us figure this all out."
The room proves quite a bounty of valuable knowledge of one sort or another. Looking through the books Witt discovers that the people who filled this library were primarily interested in history. There are numerous other books with a wide range of interesting but common topics, everything from cooking recipes to romantic adventure novels. But the great majority of books seemed to focus on various histories of all the kingdoms across the continent, and in some cases the world. Everything from chronicles of great wars to studies of entire ruling lineages.
Meanwhile 9, while searching along one of the bookshelf walls, comes across a plain box made of blackened wood. It sticks out because it clearly does not belong with the rest of the books on the shelf, and it was hastily hidden behind a small stack of books. This seemed like something someone wanted to keep out of sight but still remain within easy reach.
The most interesting finds however are found at and around the desk at the end of the room. This is clearly where someone spent most of their time working.
At one point Nemeia picks up what appears to be a pen off the desk, only to find it seemingly shift into a short length of intertwined wooden strips set together so they create a repeating pattern of 'S' shapes. A metal cap at the end of the wand bared an arcane symbol on its surface. Setting the wand down she would discover it reverts back to look like a pen, then changes back to the wand shape when you pick it up. It takes a brief moment to realize that the pen shape is merely a visual illusion attached to the wand itself, which disappears once it's touched.
Sora, on the other hand, as she searches through the desk, finds a small pouch inside one of the drawers in the desk. It's a simple coin purse and looking inside she would find 25 gold pieces.
The most important discovery, however, turned out to be the easiest to find. It was just a matter of looking through all of the papers, parchments, and documents scattered across the desk's surface and surrounding floor. It seemed Linthe had no expectations that anyone would find their way past her traps into this room, as she clearly cared very little about hiding her intentions here.
The various papers showed numerous letters between Linthe and was seemed to be foreign nobles, mainly from Lynansera. They told a story of how, despite her exile, some of the elven aristocrats thought to take advantage of her position and skills, and hoped to use her to destabilize Tarrin kingdom. It seemed they wanted to take control of the kingdom's resources for their own benefit. To the point where Linthe clearly spells out that by removing the current royal family she could install a puppet monarchy that would be under complete control of her benefactors. She even mentions having a noble wrapped around her finger, ready to dance as she pulls the strings.
