Moira would find 9 scanning the area about the caravan and generally observing the fauna around. “Ah, I don’t really cover it. Here take a look”, 9 slightly shifts her hood, so the loose cloth in front of her eye pulls back a little revealing a milky white pupil-less eye, with a slashing scar extending across it, similar to 8 others on her face. If Moira would concentrate on it kore, she would notice that in some parts the eye is more darker, and resembles a continuation of the slashing mark.
And so the caravan continues its travels, keeping moving well into the night. Witt, 9, and Moira's hawks spot a couple of swamp creatures near the side of the road along the way. With their aid the entire group manages to void any major issue during the first leg of the trip. The caravan continues riding well past sunset as they try to make up time. Its already properly dark by the time Gerald calls for the caravan to stop. Setting up the camp for the night proves tricky for some in the darkness but with everyone working together it eventually gets done as everyone is provided food before it's time for bed.
It's time to set watches. Decide who takes which watch.
Anyone going in the first watch will need to roll a Con save to avoid exhaustion from the full day's travel.
Nemeia enjoyed her time in the wagon though she found herself rather quiet compared to normal. She was constantly working on her small creations and found little time to watch as the landscape changed around her. Cali enjoyed the attention that Witt offered and she seemed to grow fond of him. Sharing her focus between working on new items and tending to Cali, Nemeia quickly grew tired and ready for rest. The word of finding camp brought some comfort to her.
When Moira offers to perform the first watch, Nemeia gladly accepts and does her best to find a comfortable place to get some rest.
((Sorry for the lack of discussion. The weekend proved busier than normal))
Moira will half listen to Witt explain the signifigance of the amulet while examining it. Measuring it against her hand and jotting down a few notes. Once finished she hands it back and cuts in. "It really is nice Witt. I have learned of the 'component pouches' as well. My teacher offered that as an option but suggested a simpler focus for me as well. So I chose a wand. It really is much easier. Thank you for letting me take a look. If you will excuse me I needed to discuss something with 9 as well."

Moira takes a close look at the scars, probably closer than is appropriate. Then realizing that she is being rude gives a slight start "I'm sorry. It was inconsiderate of me to stare. If you would ever like to talk about what happened I will be happy to listen." Her cheeks redden slightly "I'm so scattered brained sometimes I asked Sora how the dagger turned out forgetting Mary had made it for you. Would you mind if I take a look?" If 9 agrees Moira looks over the blade continuing talking as she examines the blade and takes some rough measurement against her hand jotting notes down in a small book. and eventually handing it back. "It really is finely made. Mary is more skilled than she knows."

I am assuming you let me look at the crossbow. While talking Moira will hold the crossbow this way and that, feeling its heft, holding it against her arm and fingers at different locations while jotting some quick notes down. "This is quite the weapon. Did you make it your self? I am amazed at the things you can make. I mean Cali is incredible. I find it fascinating how you carry your tools. I always keep mine in a pouch. But your way looks a lot more efficient."
Despite the long trip and heavy workout of the day, Sora has trouble falling asleep right away, so she decides to take first watch along side Moira. Which works out for the best, probably. During the night, as Sora approaches Moira for some small talk she notices the other human has dozed off. Though amusingly her pet Rusty is left standing a top her head, vigilantly scanning all around them for signs of danger.
"Heh, adorable. You sure got an interesting boss there, little guy." Sora tells the familiar offhandedly. She decides to let Moria continue sleeping as she must truly be tired to doze off like that.
Nemeia smiles as Moira examines her craftsmanship. "The crossbow itself is of your common type, but the enhancements are all me. I've been studing the craft for years but it was only recently that I was able to learn how to incorporate the magic within items. I really feel like the opportunities for advancement are endless. I just need to find a place where I can study more advanced techniques."She looks down at her vest and her satchel. "The tools would be way too heavy to carry without my satchel." Nemeia opens up the pouch and attempts to show Moira the spacious room hidden within. "Everything is sorted based on frequency of use and the craft involved with it. I still have a lot to learn about the different forms of craftsmanship, but it's a good start."
Nemeia thinks for a moment. "The only trouble is all of these things take a constant focus to maintain their magics. Whether it's the upkeep that must be maintained through constant adjustments. Hopefully as I perfect my craft I'm able to bear more burden to have more... toys." Nemeia smiles.
Peering into the satchel Moira's eyes go wide. "Goodness I didn't realize how many tools you carried. Yes i see your point. I am sure you will find somewhere in the city to study."

After a brief rest, Nemeia wakes so that she can assist with the second watch. She really hadn't grown used to having to perform the task as she normally was able to either find a room to sleep in or made camp and hoped for the best. With the supplies of the caravan and the lives of her companions counting on her, she tries to focus on the night. She scans the area around the camp, doing her best to spot any strange movements. She listens to the sounds of the wilds, making sure nothing sounded out of place. Nemeia had also been attempting to train Cali in guard duty just to add another set of eyes on the horizon.

As the night wears on, the first watch passes by without incident of any note. As Moira and Sora join the others for some severely needed sleep, Nemeia joins the other set of guards for the second watch. Together with Cali they spend the dark and muggy night watching out for potential threats. The night seems to go by quietly until Cali suddenly notices something.
Deeper into the swamp a large figure moves closer to the camp. With a warning to her mistress, Cali is able to show Nemeia where it is. It takes a moment to figure out the form in the darkness, but eventually they can make out something that they've seen before. A Giant Frog.
It's not clear if this frog is a wild version of the mounts used by the bullywugs, or one of their mounts that had escaped in the aftermath of their raid and assault by the party. At the moment it is merely on the edge of Nemeia's sight, not far from the camp, simply watching for now.

Nemeia points out the frog to the other guards and insists that they keep their eyes on it. She does her best to stay calm and reaches into her pack. Nemeia will take some time to setup the set of string she has create a perimeter around the camp to hopefully alert her if something advances across is. She will then make sure she splits her attention to other areas around the camp to make sure that the creature is alone. She instructs Cali to keep her focus on the giant frog.
She contemplates waking the others but decides it's best if they get their rest. She would rather deal with an angry frog than an angry Sora.
In the midst of setting up her alarm perimeter, Nemeia loses sight of the Giant Frog. Until barely a moment later when Cali is suddenly urging her towards one of the carts, at the same moment that one of the guards yells out. Looking over, Nemeia can see the Giant Frog has jumped next to one of the caravan's carts. One could only guess it's attracted by the food on board. It certainly looks a little too interested in the contents that you are all guarding.
Those who are asleep can roll a Perception check to see if they wake up from the noise. Moiraand Soraare at disadvantage from a full day of travelling and staying up for the first watch.
Nemeia motions for Cali to advance toward the frog to try and scare it off. She then fashions a pair of bronze anklets around each of her legs and dashes toward the creature attempting to shoo it away.
Expeditious Retreat - Able to dash as part of the spell 60 feet and then attempt to use my action to scare the giant frog away without waking the others.
Rusty climbs up a nearby cart/boulder/tree/etc. and watches the action. If the frog starts to attack he will jump down on to Moira to try and wake her up.
(Basically taking the ready action to wake her if needed.)
At first the giant frog seemed not to notice or care about the commotion it was causing. For one intense moment it looked like it was about to dive into the cargo when one of the guards started yelling at it trying to get it to go away, but the frog seemed completely unperturbed by his display. It was only when Nemeia and Cali stepped forward, trying their best to look intimidating that the giant frog seemed to pause.
At first it simply sat there, watching Nemeia and her pet. Clearly it had never seen anything like these two. However it was hard to tell if Nemeia's attempts were having any effect. Only after a long time of staring each other down did the Giant Frog make its move. In one powerful leap, it soared through the air and dove deep into the depths of the swamp once more. Apparently it had decided this prize was not worth the effort. Whatever its intentions it was once more moving into the darkness of the surrounding swamp and away from the caravan.
