Turning Moira starts heading up the stairs calling back sounding almost excited "I think this is going to be easier than we thought." She continues to climb the stairs as the two pandas scurry after her.
"I don't know, I'd say things could have been a whole lot weirder." Sora gives Nemeia a smile as she puts away her swords. Turning around she sees Moira rushing up the stairs and calls out to her, "Maybe we shouldn't be rushing ahead, who knows what else we might find in here!" She looked back over at Khorzik as she added, "We should probably decide if we want to search upstairs or downstairs first, don't you agree?"

Khorzik leans down and collects some of the dust from the destroyed statues. He nods thoughtfully as he begins ritual casting detect magic once again."Downstairs first, as it is our path of retreat if required. And I agree that we should remain within sight of one-another." He then begins scanning each room for magic and searching them for clues.

Kal pushes a toe through the rubble of the fallen statue. Satisfied that the construct is no longer a threat he stows his weaponry once again and begins looking over the doors nearest to him for traps. "If no one requires a moment of rest, then I agree we should secure this first floor. I suspect if there are occupants they are in a space of safety. Most would secure themselves under the house."
Nemeia and Cali follow along while trying to investigate anything that looks out of place. If she feels that there is anything magical, she'll go through her tools to reassemble her purple glasses to cast detect magic.
Is anyone hurt badly? Witt asks, putting his shortbow away. He inspects the others in the group, checking over their wounds and fussing: Medicine17. I don't think this is a safe place to rest, so please let me know if you need some help.
Moira- From the first landing of the stairs you can see them lead up in both direction up to the balcony above, there's clearly some manner of hallway leading into other rooms and whatever else is on the house's second floor, but you don't see much else from your current vantage.
Khorzikand Nemeia- with your Detect Magic you can both see the overall feeling of magic in the area, a faint hint of Necromancy and Transmutation, but it's more of a general miasma at this point, nothing solid yet. The Transmutation magic that was clearly responsible for controlling the animated gallery in here is quickly fading from the remains of the constructs around you. Khorzik would be able to easily figure out that these constructs were a security measure most likely. The objects were animated via magic but remained in a subdued state while waiting for a trigger, such as intruders, which they would begin attacking once they were close enough. With their forms destroyed the magic that moved these things no longer had anything to hold on to and is now simply dissipating like any spent spell.
Kal'Duros - You don't see any traps on the doorway closest to you. It is closed but not locked.
Witt- as you look over everyone you notice only Sora and 9 were really injured significantly. Sora has the most grievous wounds but 9 seems like she's closer to her limit. (i.e. least health)
Sora breathes a sigh of relief feeling Witt's energies closing her wounds completely. "Thank you, Witt, you are literally a god send." She looks back at Khorzik nodding in agreement. "Sounds good to me, let's search the ground floor first. Be careful though, I just assume there's gonna be more traps in every room." She will turn to the door closest to her and inspect it carefully for any traps.
You're welcome, says Witt, and he says a quiet prayer to his god. He then mostly just stands still, letting more proficient folk do the whole 'searching for traps' thing.
9 slightly flinches when Witt touches her, not accustomed to a non-violent physical contact. She nods to him,”Thank you.”, amd ventures to examine a door that is not being examined by anyone else, if there is one.
Sorry to do this to you all but I am going to have to drop out of this campaign. I've enjoyed playing with all of you. Enjoy the rest of the adventure.
Kal'Duros - beyond the door you find a 15x15 foot room which looks to have been maybe a small den or sitting room for guests, however everything in the room has been trashed and either removed or left in shambles across the floor. There is a large fireplace on the east wall of the room with a window on each side looking out over the front of the house.
9 - The other door on the south side of the hall, the closest unoccupied door, also seems to be unlocked and without any traps that you notice
Witt decides to follow 9, though keeping at a distance and trusting her to find any traps or other dangers. Let me know if I can help with anything,he calls to her as he stand back, attempting to touch nothing and generally be as still as possible.

Moira sends the familiars up the stairs, one to either side, looking through their senses at the floor above.

”Umm. I think I might have found some thing. They can smell dead bodies up there.” Moira points to the two Rustys walking back down the stairs to her.
