The room before is very similar to what Kal saw, a 15 x 15 foot study, with two windows and a fireplace towards the front side of the house. The furnishings here are slightly better then the other room but still in a state in disrepair. Like the other room there is only one other exit, a door on the opposite side of the room.

Sora will take a careful peak behind her door. Then when she notices everyone heading off to different doors she'll call out to the group. "Let's not split up everywhere so much. At the very least we should be moving in groups."
Sora- beyond the doorway you find what appears to be a basic storage area, filled with open boxes mostly, it seems to have gone completely unused for months, if not longer. (You can roll perception to see if you spot anything more.)

Nemeia continues to follow the others trying to make sure that they haven't missed anything in their searches. She's hoping to find some sort of clue as to where the Duke's friend may have gone or what' she's been up to.
"Dead bodies?," she asks when they're mentioned. "Do you think it could be the Duke?"
As 9 opens the door into the next room she finds herself in what might have once been a tea room, or some other fancy reading room, full of widows and what once must have been lovely comfortable furniture. It has all now been destroyed and the room looks to be in complete ruins. Much of the furnishings here seem to have been charred somehow, leaving behind a thin layer of ash all over the floor.
At first there doesn't seem to be anything else of note, until 9 spots movement at the far end of the circular room. Slowly a humanoid figure rises out of the shattered remnants of the room. Quickly 9 would realize there is something seriously wrong, this person is clearly long dead, what few scraps of clothing remain on them hanging off its body in scraps, large chunks of its rotten flesh are missing. Before anyone can react, however, 9 witnesses all of the ash and soot in the room begin to move as well, as if caught in some mysterious wind it begins to swirl up into the air before flying towards the zombie. The ash clings to the undead creature's body, swirling around it like a deathly aura.
Then the Ash Zombie begins moving towards 9 in a clearly hostile manner.
“Shit. Fall back.”, 9 quickly tells Witt as she stands her ground and extends her shield to protect herself as she calls out to the creautre, “Burn, you filth.”, with that a ray of light starts shining intensively through the window, aiming its way towards the creature.
Guiding Bolt Attack: 10 Damage: 18 radiant and advantage on the next attack on the creature.
The radiant bolt of energy just clips the undead creature's shoulder, and it screeches back at 9 in anger and pain as it rushes forward. It's movement is a bit faster then expected and it manages to just barely avoid the plume of divine flame that Witt called forth.
It strikes out at 9 with a wide swing of its decomposing arm.

9 strikes at the shambling violent zombie with her whip just as Witt launches an arrow at the same creature. Both attacks slam into the walking corpse, erupting in plumes of ash with each blow. The zombie falls over, flailing on the ground like dead corpse that it is, lying motionless for a moment. Before you can wonder if it is truly dead, however, it begins to move once more. Struggling with wretched movements as it makes its way back to its feet. The deep wounds it took still remain, leaving it looking even more terrifying as it refuses to go down.
Its screams are silent, just the eerie sounds of undead flesh and bone moving in unnatural ways as the ash in the room continues to swirl and cling to the remnants of its body. Without any sort of care it swings again at 9 still blocking the doorway.

Upon hearing the sounds of battle and Witt's call for help, Soraimmediately rushes over as quickly as she can. Seeing 9 blocking the doorway with the zombie on the other side, she would grab for one of her throwing axes, tossing it at the zombie in the hopes of taking it down.
As 9 rains down vengeful lightning against the walking corpse, it shudders and hisses in a dead rage, but ultimately cannot withstand her onslaught. It falls once more, lighting sparkling off the bared bones, shooting through the floating ash.
It lays on the ground for some time before you realize that this time it isn't getting back up anymore.
