Ola breathed a sigh of relief and stepped inside (if it was not enough light to move around freely, she would light a torch first). As fast as she could (not completely ignoring the danger, of course) she would move to the source of light and noise.
Uragum was surprised with the explosion. He had not expected such a thing from toppling them over. Turning to Zelra he replies a little unwisely, "agreed... I think two destroyed should be enough. Let's grab the girl and the others and wait by the entrance."
Sylyra neighs loudly, getting back onto his hooves and angrily tossing his mane. He looks up at the ceiling and then at the rubble and neighs again. He clops over toward the open cage door and watches as the others try to coax the halfling girl out again.
With the obelisk in his path destroyed, Arnald approaches the cage to see the woman "trapped" within. Beneath the thick layer of grime and dirt, this is indeed Villonah, the young gnome that attended so many of his lessons early on. She hides her face from Arnald as he approaches, still rocking back and forth.

The tunnel brings Ola to a closed wooden door, set into an area of stone that is not as natural as the surrounding walls of the tunnel. Soft light peeks from the small gaps between the door and the wall.
Ola will continue her journey until she finds the source of the noise and light. She will be opening every door - not bashing them out, but with intention to open and enter, not only peek inside.
Arnald again starts to speak calmingly to Villonah. "It's ok. It's going to be ok. I'm going to pick you up and carry you to your dad." Slowly, Arnald lifts Villonah and turns to walk out with her in his arms.
Uragum will take care to stay back from the other stones but look about to see if there are any other entrances or exits to the room that have not previously been seen. If something is found he will let the others know, if nothing then he will follow them out.

Arnald Persuasion: 19
Finally from this short distance, Arnald breaks through. Villonah stares up at the archer with crazed eyes, attempting to speak a few times before just whispering, "Can't run away...". Tears fill her eyes, and she does not struggle as Arnald picks her up and starts to head out of the room, her hands clinging to the man's neck.
Arnald leads the party out of the "Funhouse" and back to the jail cells just in time to see the remaining prisoners shout as the door to the outside opens. One of the men starts pleading for forgiveness at the woman who enters: Ola.
Arnald, seeing Ola walk in nods his head over on shoulder, "The guards are tied up in the room back there. We tried not to kill anyone but I believe one fell. Do with them whatever you think is right. I'm taking Villonah back to her pa." With that, Arnald continues walking out.
Zelra follows Arnald out and sees the man pleading for Ola's forgiveness. "Oh, hey, dude, don't worry. She's our companion. I think she was supposed to bring some guards?"She looks to Ola for confirmation.

"No guards - apparently they are too busy to investigate themselves. But they are informed and we have the proof, that the information was given to them." Ola looked at Villonah at Arnald's arms: "Wait!"She would go so far as to step in his way. "Before you go... She might need more than a hug and a simple healing."
First - Divine Sense, (the place is calling for that), if nothing comes up - Protection from Evil and Good on Villonah, on top of it - Lay on Hands (just one point, in case the girl was poisoned)
Finishing that, she would go around to check on on formal prisoners - the most hurt would get healing (up to all 9 points). After which she will try to explain the situation: "The guards - the real guards - are informed about those few monsters among them. That scum will be taken from here and fairly jugged - I will see to it myself. If any of you can be brave enough to become a witness during that process, it would help to keep the town and it's people safe. Regardless, I promise all of you my protection."
Persuasion: 17
Finally, she would ask (quietly) Zelra and Uragum of two things: "I am sorry you had to deal with that thugs alone, you did good caging them. Now I will stay here, guarding. Could you get to the guard-post (she explained how to get there) today and point them the exact location? But before, bring those people to the Temple. They need healing - should there be needed some payment, tell priests it will be on me."
The prisoners' immediate relief is cut off as one screams and points at the doorway, where an elf woman in leather armor has emerged behind Ola. She has an arrow nocked and trained in the direction of the party.
"Put the gnome down and leave. Now. You will take her nowhere. You will torture her no more. I don't care how many of you there are, I guarantee some of you will not make it out of here alive if you try and take her," she demands.
Uragum steps forward placing himself between the others and the Elf. Hands up in a defensive position he calls out, "we are not here to torture anyone, we are rescuers and have rescued this one from torture. If you take a moment you can verify that we are not the guards as we've tied up them in the room over there."
OOC: And here goes my big speech. Can I save it for later? With the check too? :)
Ola turned around and made a slow careful step to complete that life wall between the party and the elf. "And while you are at it - recognizing help when you see it - why don't you tell us who you are? We were brought here by the father of the girl, how did you find that place?"
OOC: Yes, Ola's conversation with the prisoners and actions will be saved.
The elf studies the room a little closer, her bow remaining trained upon you. "Shit," she mutters, "Not exactly cut and dry."
"Put the girl down. She, and I, are members of the Order of the Gauntlet. She was on a mission when she was taken here, and I will be leaving with her. Put her down, then back away, and we all walk away from this unharmed," the elf says.
Villonah, for her part, seems to be in a stupor, staring glassy eyed at the ceiling as this all transpires.

"Order of the Gauntlet? Damn, would've thought she was a Zhent from what I heard about her." Zelra eyes the elf up and down, attempting to detect any lies.
"Indeed. Order of the Gauntlet, supposedly a noble organization of paladins. Yet you do not behave as one. The girl's father never mention as well his daughter can be a paladin, quite the opposite, in fact. We know not if your words are true. Sending a little girl to a torture chamber for a "mission"? Really? Very noble indeed. What we know, girl's father wants to see his daughter and she is hurt. She is not going anywhere, except the Temple for healing and to be reunited with her father. Then you can talk to him."

Halfling. Gnome. All those little people look the same to Sylyra.
