OOC: Botting Arnald for this round with an attack (assuming intent to incapacitate, since Zelra has called it out twice).
Uragum's new feature is a complicated one for PbP, since you can see most of the rolls and the disjointed nature of posting. I could assume that you will always use your reaction to add that bonus to your AC or saving throw, but I don't know that I want to do that because it also comes with the penalty of not being able to cast spells other than cantrips for a turn. I think the best bet is to handle it like I do with a battle master's "Parry" ability; if you're hit by an attack, just post that you're going to use your reaction to use Arcane Deflection and I will edit the previous post if necessary.

Uragum and Sylyra charge into the room beneath a misfired arrow from Zelra, rushing to Arnald's aid, evening the odds against the men that surround him. The injured guard uses his spear to fend off Sylyra's pounce, and his shield to stop Uragum's fist, but with both arms occupied, he becomes an easy target for Arnald, and the archer knocks him out cold with the pommel of his rapier. The men are still heavy pressed, however, as the remaining guards target Arnald and Uragum, and their dog meets Sylyra's pounce with one of its own, biting and gnashing into the leg of his panther form. Uragum moves on the balls of his feet, keeping himself out of range, but Arnald takes another cut as he twists to avoid being disemboweled.

Arnald clashes with his opponent, using his rapier to slide away the incoming spear and maintaining his ground, conserving his energy. Uragum's opponent unintentionally is sat in a chair as the goliath hammers a blow straight into his stomach. He quickly catches his breath and gets right back in the fray, stabbing toward Uragum's face. Uragum dodges the strike, slapping the spear aside. Growls and yelps fill the air as Sylyra and the dog fall over each other, rolling and biting animal flesh. The dog seems not to understand, or possibly care, about Sylyra's animal speech toward it, defending the guards with a fervor. Zelra looses another arrow which strikes only a shield in the fast-moving fray.

Zelra, determined to actually put an arrow in a body, finally succeeds when Arnald circles around his opponent, grazing her ally's shoulder unintentionally (OOC: No sneak attack damage applied, since you can choose when to use that ability). Pinned between a guard and a shaky Zelra, and desperate to put the man down, Arnald puts everything he has into his attacks, recklessly leaving an opening, but it matters not; he lunges past the guard's outstretched spear and pummels him twice, dropping him unconscious.
The remaining guard stands up from the chair and stabs toward Uragum; the goliath takes a grazing hit on his side to allow him room to slap the man right back down in the chair. "Who in the--" he shouts, blood pouring from his nose. A yelp interrupts him as Sylyra bites into the dog's neck, slamming its head into the stone floor, knocking it unconscious as well.

Zelra yells in frustration. "Oh for ****s sake!"She drops her shortbow and pulls out her shortsword, rushing towards the last guard and attempting to slam the hilt of her sword into his head. (OOC: Rules involving drawing/stowing weapons still always escape me. Drawing the shortsword would be a free action but not sure if specifically dropping instead of stowing the short bow would require anything. Feel free to change anything in if it does.)

Panther Sylyra rushes into the room and swipes at the grievously injured guard, but only to incapacitate him, not kill him.
Action: claw attack: 15, damage: 4 slashing damage
If that hits, DC12 STR saving throw or he's knocked prone.
If he's knocked prone, bonus: bite attack: 16, damage: 7 piercing damage — but only if he's still conscious, and, again, only to incapacitate.

Arnald is not thrilled with the idea of not killing these guards but he goes along with it for now.
Feeling a bit hard pressed, he takes his bonus action to use his second wind ability to regain 5 hp. He then lashes out at the guard in front of him.
