It is deathly quiet in the cave, no cheers, no jubilance. The victory today was hard fought, and with many dead and wounded strewn about, none of you are in the mood for celebration. Only maybe relief. Catching your breaths, the remaining survivors start to organise to provide care to the most wounded, and those still able to do so start carrying out the bodies of the dead. If in reverence for those that killed her, or out of fear, the corpses of the hags are left untouched, even though both the night hag and the dusk hag have small satchels on them.
As order returns to the cave, Kam turns to Shae, and, speaking directly into her mind, says :"Shae, you've been a true champion for good. I'm proud to have trusted you with some of my powers, and I'm happy to grant you more. Step forward." Doing as asked, Shae takes a step, placing her hand on Kam's snout.
"As my champion, I want no obstacles to remain in your path to destroy evil. This will help.", and with that, Shae starts to feel lightheaded, and as she looks down at her hands, she sees the celestial moonlight surrounding her, and her feet several inches of the ground. She was hovering, no, flying!
Although the unicorn doesn't show it, Shae feels as if Kam is smiling. He then starts to slowly fade, his outline formed out of the same moonlight that is surrounding Shae. "Make me proud!". And with that, the unicorn fades away, returned to the celestial plane.

”Well, done, everyone,” says the Professor, “Together we have defeated the existential threat to the Grung and Lizardfolk homelands.” Snively repeats this in the native tongue of the Grung and the Lizardfolk.
To the others in his group, Glasses says, “We must make use of what we can find here, for our journey is yet long and perilous. Let’s see if we can find the Hag’s skull-house and take the pouches from the dead ones. I can start a ritual for the detection of magic, and hopefully between Maxine, Shae, and I we can identify the items that may be useful to our continued journey. Fang watches a bit uncomfortably the final moments of the dusk hag. Wondering what her silence meant. Hoping what he saw, was merely a trick of the mind and not a grisly vision of the future. He could barely stand the thought of his kin ending in such a manner.
Fang walks around the chamber and retrieves his arrows (3 of each by my count). As he removes, the silver tipped arrow from the horned lady, he pauses briefly considering answers to his questions may lie within the hags possessions, but thinks it better to leave their belongings alone for the sake of his village. His own arrows return to his quiver. The silver tipped ones he returns to Maxine (or offers to, she could refuse to take them I suppose)
Not one to let fresh meat go to waste, he reaches for his knife only to realize he left it in Palebank and will need to skin and repurpose the remains upon his return home. Fang lays his net on the ground and loads all of the slain monkeys into it making an improvised sack as he has done many times before.
Then remembering he saw a passage earlier during the fight with the hag decides to see where that passage leads and heads to the entrance peering down the passage and checking for signs of anything that appear out of place giving away a potential danger (looking for traps)
"Amen!" "I mean, well done," Nodded Maxine to Professor's heroic speech, coming closer to the hags and nudging the corpse with the boot tip. She thanked Fang in Draconic for the returned silvered bolts and searched for the rest (there were three of them and in group's situation every spec of useful equipment counted). She looked around for anything interesting, though not expecting it - after all, this was a portal, not a laboratory itself. Anything used to create the portal had to be in hag's hut, as Professor mentioned.
But hag's bodies could still hold something interesting - they came here from another plane after all. Maxine returned to the corpses of sisters and took a closer look. She only got distracted once - to watch Kam's departure and his farewell to Shae. Of course, she was not truly going to ask if Kam has a friend searching for a follower, but her admiration of the magnificent creature, the very look of which could returned hope to the most desperate, was genuine. She smiled to Shae but did not bother her, expecting the warlock to be too deep in communing with the unicorn.
Heading into the caverns, Fang finds no traps, but as you explore further, you find rows of catacombs, with withered skeletons of previous heroes lying there, hence the name of the place. Most of the armour on the skeletons is a useless heap of rust or rotten leathers, but you do find a very nice looking shield, with the picture of a grieving soft one on the front. Another one of the skeletons has a peculiar ring made from gold with an inlaid jade jaguar on one of their fingers.
Maxine, as you search the bodies of the night hag, you find three figures made from stick and twine in her bag. They look very similar to the ones you found in her hut, and probabl meant to represent the three sisters. It could be that she needed them for the ritual. Alternatively, they might have been a token of good luck for the hag. The green hag's body is burnt to cinders, but as far as you can tell, she didn't carry anything particular on her. Your most interesting find is a small book covered in thin leather, resembling human skin. As you open it, you find pages and pages of notes, unfortunately in a language you don't understand.
Berrus, as you approach B'ark, you're at first afraid that she had been killed, before N'ala comes over, and B'ark comes slowly to. Although you don't speak the same language, the trust, admiration, and respect for your deeds all lie within her expression, as she finds you standing over her, still covered in the night hag's blood. B'ark was in rough shape, having suffered severe burns from the lightning, but N'ala and the other priests, as well as the lizardfolk shamans were already doing their utmost to apply poultices and bind wounds, and B'ark, used to the tough life of a jungle warrior, gets up despite her wounds, and together, her and Berrus start to silently carry out the dead. Thankfully, Fang had already collected the dead monkeys, so they wouldn't have to see them lie among their own dead. As you carry out some of the last of the dead, you see dawn breaking to the east, slowly rising, illuminating the row of the fallen, as if to pay respect to their sacrifice. Seven lizardfolk lay there, intermingled with ten grung corpses. On the side of the travelers, everyone had survived, though each of them looked like the fight against the flesh golem took everything out of them, and they looked rough, if not to say haunted.
Professor, as soon as you deem appropriate, you head out of the cave, to take a look around. The giant skull is a few hundred feet away, not particularly camouflaged. Maybe you'll find some more answers there.

To say Shae was at a complete loss for words over the emotions she wanted to express at this moment was an understatement. She would be in utter disbelief if she hadn't just lived and experienced all that just happened herself. It took everything for her not to break out in tears and weep in place. As hard as she'd fight it though, her eyes would betray her and water a little, shedding one tear to the ground. She was overwhelmingly proud of herself, but even more so of everyone here. For once, without banter, the warlock would accept her patron's gift and praise. And truly appreciate it. It goes without saying that Shae didn't want 'her unicorn' to go, but she knew that he was always with her. Hugging her tomb, Shae could only manage to respond, "I will." Before his physical presence would vanish from the cave.
Although she had felt herself lift from the ground, the reality of it would only hit her after Kam was gone. She'd let out a little gasp. She was flying... I'm flying! Shae's body would jerk with a bit of vertigo as she'd adjust to not having ground directly beneath her feet. As much as this new magical freedom was liberating, it was also a little scary, and not an appropriate time to go for a joyride. She'll look over the others as they'd move around the cave tending to the aftermath. Her heart swelled with admiration and sorrow for the warriors who fought bravely here today. Shae will reflect on the losses as she watches Berrus and B'ark rise to tend to the fallen. Feeling pulled in that direction, she'll tentatively float herself over. She was not strong enough to carry the dead to their resting place, but she could offer the young red grung and her healers support with the wounded. The fighting is over. Now the healing and rebuilding begins.
Once the bodies of the fallen are arranged for transport Berrus takes B'ark aside. Not even knowing if she can understand him. And not caring he hands her his hand axe. "Ye fought bravely an a cap'n o the guard should 'ave a fitten weapon"
Approaching Berrus after he has done his exhaustive scanning for magic sources, the Professor says, "We should make sure each of the Grung and Lizardfolk tribes have something physical to remind them of this day and their shared effort to defeat the implacable foe. The giant's skull the hag used as a home is an obvious trophy, one perhaps more suited to the LIzardfolk than the Grung, I'd wager. Did you just give B'ark the axe that slayed two of the hags? I can get the silvered stone that killed the third one, and the Grung could have the items used to kill the coven as trophies--and a grim reminder to never let down their defenses against evil. What do you think?"

Fang returns to the main cavern and seeing Rings starting to search the cave accompanies him searching each passage by looking for traps and then looking for any useful materials that are to be found.
Fang would give glasses the ring and/or shield if the wizard indicated that he might be able to discover more about the item. However Fang would make it clear he would like the shield returned as soon as possible.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Listening in after watching the exchange, Shae would nod to the Professor. She believed the silvered stone would complete the vision behind Berrus' thoughtful gesture. For him to give up his axe... She'd reach out to place a hand on Berrus' shoulder and squeeze. Although not asked, she would follow Berrus to help with his search for a replacement weapon, or any historical artifacts.
B'ark understands the gesture, and respectfully accepts the silvered axe and the pebble from Berrus and the Professor, keeping them like trusty artifacts at her side.
Professor, after quickly making a tour of the catacombs, you indicate to the others the graves where you find a magical aura, before moving back to the main cavern to focus on the hags.
Checking the further caverns with Berrus and Shae in tow, you discover clear signs of the night hag's sacriligous ritual used to turn some of the buried here into her own army of undead. Several of the more ancient tombs have stone sarcophagi, with the lids sundered and the bodies within removed, likely to now be a pile of ashes inside the main cavern. Although most of the items these heroes were buried with have since rotted away, you find a well-forged short sword with a very peculiar pattern in its steel, that seems to remind you of some of the priest of Moradin's handiwork, Berrus. Fang, your attention meanwhile is drawn to a set of exquisite bracers made from cured crocodile hide that somehow withstood the withering test of time, on a body that was once clad in fine robes and animal pelts, but of which only a small needle remains, roughly at the hight of the person's collarbone, probably serving as a calsp or brooch of some sort.
In the second set ot tombs, you find a twisted skeleton, appearing wrong somehow. Its skull bears an arcane sigil on the forehead, and at its feet you find a bronze rod, with a jet black pearl inlaid at one end, and a creamy white one on the other. The tomb's murals seem to contain a lot more sigils and wards than the others you found so far. Shae, looking upon the mural, you see a physically diminuitive creature wielding the rod against its enemies, with the figure of a winged snake above the hero, looking down on them and shielding them.
In one of the last crypts you find, there are two bodies, that of a woman and that of a man, judging by the items at their sides. She has been adorned with gold, turqoise and Jade jewlery. On her hand, she has a ring with a large pearl that seems to be almost perfectly white and undoubtedly would fetch a very high price. The man meanwhile lies next to her with the rotten remains of a bladed club at his side, and a feathered shield at his feet, also rotten. His torso and his hands however are clad in steel armour and gauntlets that have withstood the passage of time, forged with a similar pattern to the short sword you found. The tomb itself is decorated with murals depicting scenes of the royal court, showing him as a jaguar skinned warrior fighting off snake-bodied beasts with a flaming mace or club, wearing his armour and steel gauntlets.
Professor, your search of the hags reveals to you a set set of bracers on the green hag, which Maxine missed. Though singed by the fire, the damage seems minimal, and the well worked leather bracers give off a powerful aura of illusion magic. Upon closer inspection, you notice several runes worked into the stitching with silver thread. The grimoire in the dusk hag's satchel gives off a very strong aura, though the three figures in the night hags possession do not. Using your ritual for comprehend language, you are able to decode the archaic text written in a mixture of infernal and giant. This seems to have been a notebook for the dusk hag, reporting observations about her plane. Certain passages seem to describe rituals, or provide lists of ingredients, and you think that they might be spells the hag needed to write down, but you will need to study these sections more closely for further information.
After a while, B'ark approaches the Professor: "Bro-fasser, B'ark must ask a question. What do travelers intend to do with bodies of hags? B'ark has an idea, but wants to ask Bro-fasser first."
