As the Professor starts to focus and molds the earth surrounding one of the plants, he uncovers their roots and that of the surrounding plants. While the other plants are falling over, the three targeting the group seem to be unaffected. You did however make the terrain more easily passable, as some of the brush is cleared (DC to move further is reduced to 8).
Falx grabs his shortsword with his good arm, and tries to cut at the stalk of the plant holding Zip (14 for 9 damage) and fails to sever the red blossom with a clean cut, as his sword bounces off the stalk, causing little more than a dent. You all notice the sap on Faekin's hand, which is dangling out of the third red blossom, begin to sizzle and burn, while the rest of him is being digested by the plant (Faekin suffers 10 damage).
Captain Thasselandra manages to free herself from the blossom (athletics check 21), and gets on her feet.

Maxine reloads her crossbow, and fires it at the next red blossom stalk in view. The bolt burrows deep into the fleshy stalk, before the alchemical compound on the tip detonates, tearing a large whole in the stalk and removing the blossom from the rest of the plant. Zip is still grappled by the blossom and covered in sap, but is no longer being digested.

The crackling beam of energy streaks past Cliff and punches a hole through the stalk of both the red and the orange blossom, cleanly severing them from the rest of the plant. As the healing light touches Faekin, it is absorbed, and some of the burns on his hands recede, though he is still unconscious.
The flower which held Thasselandra opened its orange blossom in a pulsating motion and Shae (Con Save: 14) starts coughing. Not falling prey to the paralysing substance, the plant's yellow blossom sprays forth the milky sap (Dex Save 14), but Shae evades the jet completely.

(Not planning to move more than 5 feet, so he shouldn’t need a strength check. He is using the spell Catapult to propel the dropped dagger to hit the plant: Dex save 13 or take 7 bludgeoning damage).

OOC: No, each plant has three blossoms, you cut down four of the nine blossoms, but each of the three plants is still active.
The Dagger is flung with full force straight through the last remaining stalk of one of the three plants, and as it is severed and the last of the three blossoms drops to the ground, one of the three plants dies.
WIth only two badly damaged plants still standing, Brax flies into a rage, tries to barrel through the undergrowth, charging one of the two remaining plants ant trying to cut off its yellow blossom with his handaxe (Athletics 17 and 22 for 11 damage). With his third step however, he gets tangled into a root, and falls facedown into the muck.
Berrus starts to cough (CON save 23), and falls unconcious. The plant then douses Brax, who is lying prone at its feet with the sap (Dex save 15).
Faekin, still unconconcious, still has the corrosive sap of the plant burn into his skin (another 5 points of acid damage). Falx quickly rushes towards Faekin, and douses him with all the water in his flask, to wash away the sap. Once he sees that this works, he shouts out to the others to do the same to those covered in the sap.
Thasselandra quickly follows suit and pours out her water bottle to wash the sap away from Zip.
Berrus still lies on the ground unconcious. The last flower's yellow blossom pulsates, and the Professor starts coughing (CON Save 11) and also falls unconscious. The flower then douses Berrus in its sap. Bertrand quickly pours out his flask to neutralise the sap, and pulls Berrus and the Professor back out of danger. Cliff, in his anger, wrangles the yellow blossom, and tears at it with all his might, yanking it free (12 to hit for 7 damage). Zip is lying there, wet and unconcious, but otherwise relatively safe.

Shae would watch, eyes wide, doing her best to digest everything that's unfolding before her in order to make a calculated decision. Seeing their armoured protector and the Professor fall unconcious, she'd feel some panic begin to well up in her throat. Shae would take a deep breath, then another, trying her best to suppress the panic before it consumes her. She'd look down to her hands, "It doesn't wake them up..." She'd swear and ball her hands into fists.
Shae would look to Maxine. Her facial expression would change to determination while looking over the skilled artificer. I'm not alone. She'd turn back look over the rest of the crew who have doused and neutralized the damage occurring to the unconscious. "This jungles not going to get the best of us yet!" She'd repeat her assault on the flowers.
Shae, although it doesn't wake them up, they're still in rough shape. After she launches the the familiar ball of crackling energy she'd reach out to her most injured party member. "I know..." and release another healing light (5).

Maxine and Shae together finish off another of the plants. Now, only the badly mangled plant being pummelled by Cliff remains. SHae's healing light restores Faekin a bit, and the water helped with cooling off the burns.
Brax gets up, and runs up to Cliff to finish off the last plant 22 to break free of the undergrowth, 16 to hit for 5 damage.
In a terrible fury, he hacks at the last stalk repeatedly, until nothing is left of the plant.
After a couple of minutes, you all regain your breath, and the paralysing effect of the plants wears off, and everyone wakes up. After a quick check, you realise however that several of you have no water left, and after topping up from your barrels, they are now empty.

"Guess, this is time to search for more water-mushrooms. We can not continue like that, with doubtlessly more plants like that around."
OOC: Zip survived and is still part of the gang, I'm running him like an NPC for now. He was at 5 HP, Faekin at 7.

She'd look to the now mangled plant. "This new threat needs to be studied and documented for easier detection next time. Maxine do you have any way of harvesting its sap, safely?" She wasn't thinking of using it just for study purposes either.
Glancing over to the burns over her comrades, her facial expression would go somber. She felt terrible for those who suffered most from the attack. "And of course, these new wounds need tending..." Looking them over, she knows that their medical kits are dwindling as well. "We need to find herbs for new salves... And gather what we can for bandage replacements..." Shae was even starting to worry about the possibility of running into the need of an antitoxin even. She'd start nibbling her lip.
"And updating this map would probably be a good Idea." She'd add to their to do list.
"Than we are done for today? Let's look around if there is some better spot than the middle of the thicket." She went through their stuff: "we had to have some more healing kits, if I am not mistaken. Oh, and that sadly finished fire oil vial would do nicely for the sap collection. The acid can go into separation bottle (did not work anyway)."
For a while Maxine was busy dissecting dead plants (with intention of schematic drawing of said plant and it's mechanism for acid spitting - by her or by more skilled scientists of the group).
