Undeterred by any potential danger of the sharks Fang grabs one end of the rope “I’ll go down and secure this to the boat if Glasses attempt doesn’t work” (If the boat isn’t already freed by glasses and no one stops him he will dive down into the water to affix the rope to the boat)
The Professor's magic helps to uncover the boat, but it doesn't rise up from the seafloor, since the Professor can't muster enough force from the water to raise the ship successfully. While attaching ropes to the ship won't be particularly difficult, you don't have a winch or anything on board of your raft, meaning you'd have to rely on muscle power alone to drag the boat up, and you might struggle even more keeping it from sinking and dragging your raft along.

Berrus, it doesn't take long for you to catch your first fish, a long and silvery thing with barbed teeth. Excited, you hand it to Bertrand and Cliff to dress, whilst you continue fishing.

When Fang heads down with the rope, the Professor starts talking with the captain to see what could best help them pull up the ship, figuring once it is on the surface, his Shape Water cantrip can make bailing it out go rather quickly.
”Ah, a winch you say,” he mutters, then conjures up one for the experienced crewman to use (with his minor conjuration ability).
The ship doesn't look stuck, but the current which the Professor created is starting to cause the water around the sunken ship to get all muddy. With thirty feet of water above it, there's a lot of pressure keeping the boat on the seafloor, and since the boat is larger than your improvised raft, it's unlikely that you're going to be able to pull up the boat with your winch, something Brax is quick to point out.
"We gotta get the water out and get air in, otherwise we're just going to anchor our raft." The captain chimes in after a while: "Or maybe there's a way to fix the boat under water, and then turn it back into a box?"

Shae would look between everyone chiming in and making efforts to retrieve the boat as she'd sit there popping her lips, drawing a blank at what to do at first. But as she'd glance around at the group members before her, she'd begin analyzing the situation in accordance with the questions presented. The warlock would relax her lips and begin chewing on cheek as she'd think. After a while, Shae would be hesitant to suggest any plans, but figured it was worth thinking out loud and seeing what the others thought. Perhaps it could inspire a better idea.
"Well... If I may Professor, I could focus on keeping the water clear for you and the others to focus on recovering and repairing the boat. With your skills with the elements I wonder if you may be able to encapsulate air in a bubble to balance the buoyancy? Perhaps with Maxine's intuitive engineering skills she may be able to repair, or at least patch the ship with Fang's help and secure the ship from in the water?" Shae would pause before adding softly, "I can provide what guidance I can from here... And the crew keeps an eye out for any threats or changes?"
OOC: Is the ship upside down or upside right? If upside down, the Professor has and Idea...
Snively suggests, "Perhaps I can conjure an air bladder. You'd have to be weighted down to get to the ship's level, then release it into the ship's hull. Once it is done, you could come up for more air and repeat the process until there is enough air to lift the ship. I can make a large bladder, but only one at a time--when I conjure another item, the previous one is dismissed. What do you think?"

"You are too kind," answered Maxine to Shae, "I am potion maker, not an engineer really. But (!), as a potion maker can again offer that potion of water breathing. If you use it, Professor, you can just stand on the sea floor and conjure the air straight into the hull. Or do I understand the whole idea wrong?"
Fang takes a seat on the raft altogether bored with the relative tranquility of the open water. “I can hold my breath for quite a while. Should be long enough to get down to the boat. Though what will be used as a weight?”
"Unfortunately, my grasp of elemental magic is as of yet too limited to create pockets of air underwater. I am limited to controlling the air where it exists, not creating it where it does not," admits the Professor. "If we had a long tube, I could perhaps force air from the surface down that tube and into the ship, but unfortunately I cannot conjure an item that long," he sighs with frustration. "I do not see an easy answer for floating the boat with our current capabilities, though if it is only lightly damaged, perhaps some repair could be made to it while it is underwater and the magic could then function to transform it back into a much more manageable size," Snively offers hopefully.

“I would be willing to go look at it.” Fang offers glad of something to do besides sit. “Besides, among those here I’m the most adept in the water.” He looks at everyone seeing if any will disagree with his matter of fact statement.
”Sounds reasonable, Fang. Take the rope and tie it off if you can—at least that will give us a good connection. Watch out for the sharks, too,” he adds cautiously.

Shae would wink at Maxine, she had not forgotten she had the potion. The scholar would continue to smile softly as the conversation progressed through and Fang and the Professor proceeded to move forward with an approach.
With that, Fang plunges into the water, and starts to dive down to the boat. It doesn't take very long for Fang to reach the seafloor thirty feet below. The light down here is dim, and Fang only sees about sixty feet or so, but far enough to make out the shape of the boat. Swimming over to it, Fang quickly manages to tie off the rope around one of the rowing benches.
Fang, please give me a perception roll, with disadvantage since you can't see as well underwater and have to primarily rely on touch to give you information about the damage on the ship.

What's obvious even to the eye is that the mast, about a foot in diameter, has snapped off, leaving a four-foot stump, with the rest drifting a few hundred yards away. Beyond that, you notice a hole, about a foot in length and half a foot wide, where one of the planks had shattered upon impacting the roof of the sunken church, in front of which the boat now sits. You also find the rest of the stolen supplies that Faekin took with him, but most of the items are probably ruined by being immersed in water for hours.
Finishing up, Fang slips on one strap of the water logged pack and swims back up. Just as you do so, you spot a shark emerge from the ruin of the church, and slowly starting to circle the boat. You reach the surface and the raft without any incident though.
