Shae would gasp in horror realizing that she had used a heal on herself when Maxine lay there lifeless. Stricken by survivors guilt, she would throw her head back and let out a howling shriek of rage before taking the opportunity of attack while the leader flees. Shae would throw a hand out as if reaching for the monkey, channeling her anger, she’d release a beam of crackling energy in its direction.

I'll grant the intimidation roll
As Shae's blast unleashes on the leader, the bright beam of energy singes his fur and flesh, and the stench of burnt hair fills the air. The monster screeches, before darting off into the forest.
With the leader run off into the forest, the other creatures are ferociously trying to fight their way back to their leader. One of them is still trying, but failing, to get out of the strong current, taking a further 7 bludgeoning damage from rocks in the river bed. The monkey on the far side of the ravine, cornered by three people, unleashes another screech, directed at the Captain, who tried to stab it.
Wisdom save: 6
Failing in its attempt, it disengages by feinting a claw swipe at the captain and leaps away from the three, and dart off in the direction of its leader. Being cornered by two people, the creature on top of Flax tries to slash at Berrus.
23 and 7 for 8 and 7 points of slashing damage.
The creature behind the professor, narrowly missed by Bertrand, uses the opportunity and leaps onto the fallen porter, slashing at it with its claws. Unable to roll away, the monkey slashes deep into his shoulders and neck. Though unconscious and bleeding, the attacks failed to hit a major artery and Bertrand is still alive, for now.
5 and 5 for 5 and 7 points of slashing damage.
Lastly, the monster that feasted on Nhar now leaps towards Cliff, trying to bite and claw him. The bite catches Cliff by surprise, and the creature locks its jaws around his forearm, before he can properly react. Throwing the creature from him however, he avoids its razor-like claws. Cliff is still standing.
6 and 19 for 5 and points of slashing damage and 3 of piercing damage.
Shae, Maxine, you're up, Maxine, a death save from you, if Shae doesn't heal you before! After them and Brax, Professor, beyond your and Cliff's action, I need a death save for Bertrand. Satisfied with with her blast and seeing the leader begin to flee, Shae would make her way to Maxine and kneel beside her. Kam, I need you again... Shae, this could be your last in a while...This isn't debatable. She would place her palm on Maxine's forehead.

She tried to sit up - looked like those little monsters got her, and then Shae brought her back. "Thank you!" wholeheartedly thanked she Shae. "I owe you. Give me a second I'll join you to fix the others, there had to be healing kits on me"
She checked the injuries on herself, Shae and then tried to stand up and move to the "bridge" to see how others on the other side managed.
Badly hurt, Cliff does his best to protect himself from the attack of this small but very powerful creature (takes the dodge action).

Horrified at the attack on his faithful protector, Professor S. focuses on the stout cudgel that just fell from Bertrand's nerveless fingers. With a swift tugging at the strings of magic, he grabs the weapon with a powerful arcane grip and hurls it up at the monkey on top of his unfortunate porter!

Maxine, you see no more creatures on your end of the ravine, but on the other side the battle is still being fiercely waged.

As the cudgel is flung away from the professor, it is caught fully by surprise and caught square in the neck by the piece of wood. Knocked clean off the unconscious Bertrand, the creature goes flying. About ten to fifteen feet away, it plummets to the ground, rolling over twice, before getting back up, clearly dizzy and maybe even concussed. It is now close to the creatures that are fighting against Berrus and Cliff.

Berrus, charging at the creature and gesturing for Cliff to get behind him, takes a mighty swing at the creature, which takes it well in the side, and you can hear the bone crack under the impact. Despite this, the monster is still standing, sharp teeth and claws ready to pounce on Berrus. Maxine meanwhile tries to pick off the creature that kept evading the captain, but it proves too quick on its feet, and the shot goes wide, into the brush beyond.
Brax, still enraged and facing the badly wounded creature in front of him takes a mighty swing with his axe, trying to end this creature once and for all, and to give Berrus some more space of manoeuvre.

Unfortunately, he gets tangled with his shield, and the monkey sidesteps his swing with ease. Brax strikes a rock on the floor, blunting his axe in a shower of sparks

Though, it wouldn’t take long for sense of urgency to kick back in when the professor’s shout breaks through. Trusting the captain and Maxine can keep their local monkey busy, Shae peers across the ravine to the chaos unfolding on the other side. Biting her lip, she knows now is not the time to try and cross that log. She watches Faekin from afar, feeling a sense of relief, trusting that he’s taken care of Falx. She’d pan over to Bertrand by the professor, “Hang in there!” She’d shout.

Maxine knew what made her to miss the monkey right in front of her - the laughter she was trying to hold! But now hysterical laugh came out in the least appropriate moment. Wiping the laughing tears, Maxine made another shot.

Zip cackles at the ensuing mayhem, taking the crossbow string in one hand and racking it with a sudden electric arc from his metal-and-leather patchwork gloves. These beasts were clever to ambush, and ferocious in purpose, "Refreshing to see some civility here." Loading a crossbow bolt, the gnome levels it on target and fires with a tracing spark on its tail.

With a loud gasp, and eyes wide in terror, Falx comes too, still hurt, but conscious again, and ready to return to the fray. Shae blasts the monkey fighting Cliff, and it takes the crackling energy of a concentrated blast of sunlight straight to the chest. With the last of her magical energies, she gifts a second chance at life to Bertrand, who much like Falx comes too, to find himself back in the melee. His face is badly scratched up however, and it looks as though he has lost an eye. With this, the entire party is back on their feet, which seems to have an impact on the monkeys, who seemingly can't achieve results whilst getting hurt themselves.
Maxine's bolt hits the monkey that so far kept dodging every one of the captain's attacks, and as it strikes the monkey square in its side, Maxine's mad laughter can be heard by all. The beast is badly hurt, but still remains in the fight. Zip, with deadly precision picks out the monkey fighting Bertrand, and shoots it with his bolt, hitting the hind leg. As the electric charge is released, a crackling sound and the scent of burning fur can be perceived.
Taking advantage of the situation and following Maxine's instructions, the captain takes the healing kit on her person and charges further north, in search of the leader

Attack roll: 18 for 9 damage
She fails to spot him, and, frustrated turns around to throw one of her daggers at the lone monkey on her end of the ravine. Although she threw her dagger mostly out of frustration, the monkey seems to be tired from dogding attacks from all direction, and with the bolt in its side is hurt and slowed. The dagger strikes it square in the back of the head, unexpected, and the creature is dead before it hits the ground.
Howling, the leader of the monkeys comes charging out of the forest, all claws and fangs, and launches itself at the captain. Its claws find a target, and they rip deep into the captains forearm and get her in the waist.
Attack roll: 8 and 11 for 4 and 6 damage respectively
The monkey in the stream tries desperately to climb out of the ravine by trying to find purchase on the rocky surface, but failing to do so is once more dashed against the rocks. Its last effort having failed, it strikes a rock with its head and sinks unconscious or dead below the waters, to be swept away.

Seeing the tide of battle turn against them, the monkey that had been fighting Bertrand tries to charge Brax to get past him and manage an escape southwards. It swipes at Brax with its claws, trying to hit any exposed skin of the raging first mate.
Attack roll: 11 and 23 for 6 and 7 damage respectively
The creature currently in combat with Berrus and Cliff sees the best chance for its escape by trying to rush and push past Berrus, and it in turn tries to slash at Berrus' legs, which seem less armoured than his upper body.
Attack roll: 5 and 17 for 8 and 9 damage respectively
Seeing that its two comrades achieved nothing agaist either Berrus or Brax, the last monkey turns and runs into the woods south of the ravine, disheartened and concerned only with its own survival now.
Brax, seeing his chance, slices at the monkey at his feet with all his might. With his big swings though, he is too slow for the nimble creature and it twists out of the way. Brax unleashes a bloodcurdling agnry roar.
Attack roll: 11 for 10 damage
OOC: Since Shae and Maxine have already taken their actions, I have now taken the actions for the Captain and Brax too. Berrus would have been before, and can take his action now (counting as the action last round, and again after the Prfessor and Faekin, who can both act again. After them, Falx will act.

Cliff, badly wounded, sighs with relief as Berrus smites the monkey who has been attacking him. He brandishes his walking stick ready to strike any of those bully monkeys who get in his range, but does not move to directly confront one.

The professor, relieved that the downed people are recovering, focuses on the smoldering patch of fur on the monkey just in front of Bertrand where the electrical arrow hit, and moves both hands in an upward sweep while speaking words of power, invoking the magic of the elements as he attempts to make the flame spread all over the viscous monkey!

Invoking the wrath of his ancestors, Berrus cleaves the monkey clean in two with his great battleaxe.
Cliff stands guard, covering Berrus' rear, breathing heavily. Bertrand, with blood covering half his face doesn't manage to hit the monkey in front of him, but as the Professor invokes ancient words of power, the smoldering suddenly turns into bright flames, quickly accompanied with shrieking screams from the creature in front of them!
The creature takes 6 fire damage
Without any way to extinguish the flames, the creature tries to run to the middle of the log covering the ravine, but as he runs passt Cliff, receives a whip from the walking stick. Fuelled only by fear now, the creature carries on running, and, once in the middle of the log, leaps into the stream below. It splashes into the stream, avoiding any rocks closer to the edge of the river, and manages to extinguish the flame, but is quickly carried downstream with the strong current.
There is now the burnt monkey in the stream, the monkey that fled south, and the leader fighting Thessalandra who are left.

Maxine knew what made her to miss the monkey right in front of her - the laughter she was trying to hold! But now hysterical laugh came out in the least appropriate moment. Wiping the laughing tears, Maxine made another shot.

Zip cackles at the ensuing mayhem, taking the crossbow string in one hand and racking it with a sudden electric arc from his metal-and-leather patchwork gloves. These beasts were clever to ambush, and ferocious in purpose, "Refreshing to see some civility here." Loading a crossbow bolt, the gnome levels it on target and fires with a tracing spark on its tail.

With a loud gasp, and eyes wide in terror, Falx comes too, still hurt, but conscious again, and ready to return to the fray. Shae blasts the monkey fighting Cliff, and it takes the crackling energy of a concentrated blast of sunlight straight to the chest. With the last of her magical energies, she gifts a second chance at life to Bertrand, who much like Falx comes too, to find himself back in the melee. His face is badly scratched up however, and it looks as though he has lost an eye. With this, the entire party is back on their feet, which seems to have an impact on the monkeys, who seemingly can't achieve results whilst getting hurt themselves.
Maxine's bolt hits the monkey that so far kept dodging every one of the captain's attacks, and as it strikes the monkey square in its side, Maxine's mad laughter can be heard by all. The beast is badly hurt, but still remains in the fight. Zip, with deadly precision picks out the monkey fighting Bertrand, and shoots it with his bolt, hitting the hind leg. As the electric charge is released, a crackling sound and the scent of burning fur can be perceived.
Taking advantage of the situation and following Maxine's instructions, the captain takes the healing kit on her person and charges further north, in search of the leader

Attack roll: 18 for 9 damage
She fails to spot him, and, frustrated turns around to throw one of her daggers at the lone monkey on her end of the ravine. Although she threw her dagger mostly out of frustration, the monkey seems to be tired from dogding attacks from all direction, and with the bolt in its side is hurt and slowed. The dagger strikes it square in the back of the head, unexpected, and the creature is dead before it hits the ground.
Howling, the leader of the monkeys comes charging out of the forest, all claws and fangs, and launches itself at the captain. Its claws find a target, and they rip deep into the captains forearm and get her in the waist.
Attack roll: 8 and 11 for 4 and 6 damage respectively
The monkey in the stream tries desperately to climb out of the ravine by trying to find purchase on the rocky surface, but failing to do so is once more dashed against the rocks. Its last effort having failed, it strikes a rock with its head and sinks unconscious or dead below the waters, to be swept away.

Seeing the tide of battle turn against them, the monkey that had been fighting Bertrand tries to charge Brax to get past him and manage an escape southwards. It swipes at Brax with its claws, trying to hit any exposed skin of the raging first mate.
Attack roll: 11 and 23 for 6 and 7 damage respectively
The creature currently in combat with Berrus and Cliff sees the best chance for its escape by trying to rush and push past Berrus, and it in turn tries to slash at Berrus' legs, which seem less armoured than his upper body.
Attack roll: 5 and 17 for 8 and 9 damage respectively
Seeing that its two comrades achieved nothing agaist either Berrus or Brax, the last monkey turns and runs into the woods south of the ravine, disheartened and concerned only with its own survival now.
Brax, seeing his chance, slices at the monkey at his feet with all his might. With his big swings though, he is too slow for the nimble creature and it twists out of the way. Brax unleashes a bloodcurdling agnry roar.
Attack roll: 11 for 10 damage
OOC: Since Shae and Maxine have already taken their actions, I have now taken the actions for the Captain and Brax too. Berrus would have been before, and can take his action now (counting as the action last round, and again after the Prfessor and Faekin, who can both act again. After them, Falx will act.

Cliff, badly wounded, sighs with relief as Berrus smites the monkey who has been attacking him. He brandishes his walking stick ready to strike any of those bully monkeys who get in his range, but does not move to directly confront one.

Bertrand staggers to his feet and, trying to protect the professor, whacks at the monkey directly in front of him (M3)!

The professor, relieved that the downed people are recovering, focuses on the smoldering patch of fur on the monkey just in front of Bertrand where the electrical arrow hit, and moves both hands in an upward sweep while speaking words of power, invoking the magic of the elements as he attempts to make the flame spread all over the viscous monkey!
Control Flames to expand the flame from the little patch where the arrow hit to all over the monkey's body.

Invoking the wrath of his ancestors, Berrus cleaves the monkey clean in two with his great battleaxe.
Cliff stands guard, covering Berrus' rear, breathing heavily. Bertrand, with blood covering half his face doesn't manage to hit the monkey in front of him, but as the Professor invokes ancient words of power, the smoldering suddenly turns into bright flames, quickly accompanied with shrieking screams from the creature in front of them!
The creature takes 6 fire damage
Without any way to extinguish the flames, the creature tries to run to the middle of the log covering the ravine, but as he runs passt Cliff, receives a whip from the walking stick. Fuelled only by fear now, the creature carries on running, and, once in the middle of the log, leaps into the stream below. It splashes into the stream, avoiding any rocks closer to the edge of the river, and manages to extinguish the flame, but is quickly carried downstream with the strong current.
There is now the burnt monkey in the stream, the monkey that fled south, and the leader fighting Thessalandra who are left.
